Nightmare fuel... I rented the same vehicle from this particular Enterprise for two months (my…read morevehicle was being overhauled). Each week I would call in and add another week over the phone, and once a month I had to go down and do it in person. It was fine and most people there were pleasant. Toward the end of my final rental, it was set to expire in a 3-4 days. I started getting a series of rather insistent phone calls from a woman named Eden. I met her in the location once. She is very tall. She started giving me a rather hard time about my rental and flat-out demanded I bring it back. I didn't understand the request or the hostility and explained that there was still several days left on the rental, and that it would be brought back on the day agreed. She began to become borderline belligerent at this point, even though I explained that I had paid for the vehicle already, in advance, and had a 2-month history of renting the same vehicle. I asked to speak to the rather affable gentlemen who'd helped me with the rental several times before. She said he no longer worked there and then demanded I bring my rental back (again, 3 days early and I needed the vehicle). When I said I would bring it back the day it was due (and paid for) she threatened to report me and to have me listed as a "high risk" customer. I had to look that up to see what it meant. Per Google: [Being labeled a "high-risk" customer by a car rental agency means their risk management system has flagged you for an increased likelihood of financial loss, fraud, or policy violations. This categorization typically results in denied rentals, canceled reservations, or placement on internal "Do Not Rent" (DNR) lists.] That was insane. I spent thousands on my rental and returned the vehicle in perfect condition, but for some unknown she was threatening to do that? Someone like that should not be working in the service industry. Enterprise should be ashamed. I took my business elsewhere.

Let me tell you about Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Warrington, PA (35 Easton Rd), a company that…read moreapparently exists to waste your time and then blame you for it. We booked a large van WEEKS ago for a camping trip. Planned around it. Show up ready to load up and go, and the guy at the counter just casually tells us there's no van. Gone. Why? Because they supposedly "called" us and we "hung up on them." That is a lie. My husband pulls out his phone right there and shows him the screen. ONE missed call from Monday. No voicemail. No text. No second attempt. Nothing. They called one time, couldn't be bothered to leave a fifteen-second message, and decided that was their golden ticket to give away the van we reserved and paid to hold. So we ask the obvious question: what are you going to do to fix this? His brilliant, sit-on-your-hands answer? "Well, there might be one at the airport. But you'd have to go get it yourselves." MIGHT be. At a whole different location. Go figure it out yourselves. That was it. That was the customer service. And he just keeps saying it. "You hung up on us. You hung up on us." Like a broken toy. As if repeating a lie to my face turns it into the truth. No apology. No urgency. No flicker of caring that he was actively blowing up our family's trip while he stood there. Just dead-eyed, couldn't-care-less apathy. I had to walk out before I said something I'd regret, because the sheer combination of stupidity and indifference was genuinely unhinged. Here's the thing: a reservation is a PROMISE. We held up our end. Enterprise gave our van away, fabricated a story to cover it, and then shrugged when it blew up in our faces. That's not bad luck. That's a company that does not respect its customers even a little. If you're in Montgomery or Bucks County, save yourself the rage and book literally anywhere else. The Warrington location on Easton Road will leave you stranded and then tell you it's your fault.

Unfair Fuel Charge Due to Delayed Fuel Gauge - Enterprise Warminster (Street Road)…read more Dear Enterprise Customer Care, I am writing to formally complain about an unfair fuel charge resulting from a vehicle issue during my recent rental from your Street Road location in Warminster, PA. I rented a Mazda CX-90, which I received with half a tank of fuel, per my rental agreement. After driving for three days, I used approximately one-quarter tank of fuel. Before returning the vehicle, I intentionally refueled the car to bring it back to half a tank, as required. To ensure accuracy, I turned the car on at the gas station to monitor the fuel gauge while refueling. The fuel pump automatically stopped while the gauge still appeared to be below the half-tank mark. After removing the pump and parking the car, the fuel gauge continued to rise. After approximately 4-5 minutes, the gauge indicated that the tank was full, not half. This delayed fuel gauge behavior caused me to pay for significantly more fuel than required, through no fault of my own. When I explained this situation to the Enterprise employee at return, I was told that: "It happens all the time, and we can't do anything about it." Enterprise disclaimed responsibility for the vehicle issue and placed full responsibility on me as the renter. While the employee did offer to contact Corporate, no immediate resolution was provided. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for many years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I believe it is unreasonable to hold customers financially responsible for known vehicle defects--especially when the customer made a good-faith effort to comply with the rental agreement. I am requesting: Reimbursement for the extra fuel cost caused by the inaccurate/delayed gauge A review of how fuel disputes related to vehicle malfunctions are handled Confirmation that customers will not be penalized for vehicle issues beyond their control Reply: Hi Stacy, Thank you for your prompt response. For your reference, I have outlined a timeline of the events below prior to proceeding with posting my review on Yelp: On April 30, I informed the local personnel of the issue at the time I returned the rental. On May 5, I followed up by phone to further discuss the matter with the local staff. After waiting an additional 2-3 days without resolution, I escalated the issue by contacting the corporate complaints department via email. I then allowed another week to pass without receiving a satisfactory response before considering posting my complaint publicly. Given the above timeline, I do not believe that contacting a general corporate email address will be effective at this stage. If possible, I would appreciate being directed to a specific individual or department with the authority to resolve this matter. Thank you again for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your assistance.

Hertz in Doylestown PA has atrocious customer service and fraudulently overcharges their customers…read more On February 5, 2018 I rented a Rav 4 from associate Eric. Prior to signing, he told me the cost will be $7/day plus $21.99 for basic insurance coverage. At no point prior to my signing the agreement did he tell me that the $7 a day was contingent on my insurance coverage. Apparently the full price of the car was a whopping $36/day + 21.99 insurance. This is an outrageous price for a car rental. But I was never informed that it would actually cost $30 more than I agreed to. Had I been told this, I would have chosen a less expensive car. I had the car for 18 days. I expected to pay $521.82, but without warning was charged $1288.67. For some reason, in addition to being charged more than agreed, I was also charged for 20 days instead of 18. When I called to question this, associate Eric agreed that he made a mistake and would contact his area manager to correct the problem. He said he would call me back that same day. He never did. I called him 2-3 times a week looking for an update. Each time he had said he spoke to his manager and was working on it, and would call back. But never did. Finally after 3 weeks of my frequent calling he said a refund would be processed. I asked if I could speak to the manager myself, but was not permitted to. But again I was told I would be called back, and again, wasn't. Now, a week later, Eric says he is surprised that the refund hasn't been processed yet. I asked how much the refund would be for, and he didn't know. He kept me on hold for 10 minutes - supposedly speaking with the manager. And again has asked me if he can call me back. I was charged $766 more than I should have been, have not had a resolution for a month, and have never been given an update. In my opionion, this is absolutely unacceptable and I think everyone should avoid this company.
