Billy was absolutely amazing!! Truly went above and beyond! The 5 stars go to him. I would subtract 1 star for the broken safety feature on my rental BMW (ability to play back the current speed limit), but I don't want to risk people thinking Billy only got 4 stars read more

Nightmare fuel... I rented the same vehicle from this particular Enterprise for two months (my vehicle was being overhauled). Each week I would call in and add another week over the phone, and once a month I had to go down and do it in person. It was fine and most people there were pleasant. Toward the end of my final rental, it was set to expire in a 3-4 days. I started getting a series of rather insistent phone calls from a woman named Eden. I met her in the location once. She is very tall. She started giving me a rather hard time about my rental and flat-out demanded I bring it back. I didn't understand the request or the hostility and explained that there was still several days left on the rental, and that it would be brought back on the day agreed. She began to become borderline belligerent at this point, even though I explained that I had paid for the vehicle already, in advance, and had a 2-month history of renting the same vehicle. I asked to speak to the rather affable gentlemen who'd helped me with the rental several times before. She said he no longer worked there and then demanded I bring my rental back (again, 3 days early and I needed the vehicle). When I said I would bring it back the day it was due (and paid for) she threatened to report me and to have me listed as a "high risk" customer. I had to look that up to see what it meant. Per Google: [Being labeled a "high-risk" customer by a car rental agency means their risk management system has flagged you for an increased likelihood of financial loss, fraud, or policy violations. This categorization typically results in denied rentals, canceled reservations, or placement on internal "Do Not Rent" (DNR) lists.] That was insane. I spent thousands on my rental and returned the vehicle in perfect condition, but for some unknown she was threatening to do that? Someone like that should not be working in the service industry. Enterprise should be ashamed. I took my business elsewhere. read more

I was told I would be picked up at a certain time. They confirmed. I called back to be sure. They were over 20 minutes late picking me up. I was late for an important meeting. Then upon returning my car where they told me it sat for the weekend so I checked that everything was okay with return. They confirmed and told me they would contact me before charging my debit card so I could put payment on my credit card. They did not call. Closed it on my debit card anyway then blamed it on account team. This was me giving the location a third chance. If I need I will share those stories. I recommend asking a lot of questions and just be aware they may not follow through at this location. I got over being late to my meeting the debit charge was the icing on the cake. I never write bad reviews. This was not okay. Under promise. Over deliver. read more

Excellent customer service by Matt. Car was brand new. Recommend this location. Thank you

My dad needed a rental while his car was in the shop (and luckily his insurance paidd for this) so I went with him and we picked up the car. No issues with pick-up, drop-off nor reimbursement. All in all - successful. read more

During my rental period the trim started peeling off my minivan rental and they're charging me for it. Don't rent here or at least have them perform an extremely thorough inspection of the vehicle prior to taking receipt of it. I have rented here often, never an issue always friendly. Open on Sunday which is a plus. I would not hesitate to return

Just got my final bill from this company and they snuck in an $8.50 per day BS charge, I had this vehicle over 3 months BC of an accident. This BS charge was $909.50. When I asked them about it they said it was for a vehicle upgrade I told them I took the only car they had and that was not my fault. As a senior citizen, I feel this company has taken advantage of me and is unwilling to remove this fee from my bill. Proceed with caution when renting from this company. read more

I rent from this Enterprise Rent-a-Car location all the time. The staff is always extremely pleasant and accommodating. They've picked me up from home and the body shop (my God, the deer!), and always show up sooner than I expect which is great. Even when they don't have the car I want, they arrange to have one delivered the same day or next at latest. For friendly, thoughtful service, this is the place to go to rent a car, truck or van. read more

After a minor car accident I needed a rental and the insurance company suggested Enterprise in Doylestown. So I set this up with the insurance company and explained that I had a disabled son and would need a mid-size car. She stated no problem and told me to call Enterprise when I had a date to start the rental period. Upon calling a man answered the phone so quickly I was unable to understand if I had dialed correctly. I requested he say that again as I didn't understand what he was saying. He then began talking in an incredibly slow speech such as This is Enterprise . You get the idea. He then rudely stated I could NOT in any situation have a mid size car. He was so incredibly rude I hung up and took my business elsewhere. I'm so glad I did. The other company was so helpful, kind, and respectful. Do better Enterprise. read more

Manager Phil Sabella and his associate, Chris, made my rental experience a breeze. A rental newbie, I was clueless about what I was eligible to rent via an insurance claim and how to easily return it. Once I was greeted by Phil, there was nothing I needed to worry about. I was presented with a clean and comfortable car, and Phil explained I could leave it at the body shop for Enterprise to pick up when my car was finished. Everything about my experience was A+. Professional, friendly, helpful, and convenient for me. read more

For over a decade I've been renting cars from Enterprise, spending thousands of dollars, and have never had a bad experience until now. My truck needed 3 days of body work to fix an accident caused by a customer of mine. Upon renting a truck so I could still work during this process, I was informed the cost would be approx 559$ total if I needed the rental for 5 days. This rental began on the 1st of August. On August 2nd I tried calling to speak with a rep and after multiple times calling, never got through to speak with anyone. Keep in mind, I was promised James would get in touch with me the day I picked up my rental because I had some questions. So on the 2nd I sent the branch an email and their reply was a rep will get back to you shortly. August 3rd came and still no call from an enterprise employee or their branch manager James. At this point, Caliber Collision in Chalfont called me to let me know they'd need another day so the truck would be done on Thursday instead of the 3rd. I tried reaching Enterprise in Doylestown again and got nobody. Thursday came around and I called and finally got Patrick on the phone, who informed me the truck would be $559 or less due to the rental only being needed the 1st-4th. And I let them know George said he'd pay the 4th day due to the truck repair taking longer than promised. I dropped off the rental at Caliber Collision 5pm on the 4th and today, August 8th received a bill for $862.25. Which is more than double the amount of was supposed to be charged. Not only has this branch been unable to communicate with a loyal customer. They have completely charged me the wrong amount. I will not be doing business with this branch and will be reporting them to the better business bureau. This is a poor business and I am beyond frustrated at their lack of quality service. read more

This is my second review for this particular Enterprise car rental center. Over the past month I've rented vehicles , once for pleasure and the second time (just yesterday) b/c we lost both our vehicles due to the May 2019 storms. (Probably a twister). Thank goodness for Enterprise and their dedicated team! Whether I called or was contacted, they handled everything with grace and 110% on the service scale. Bridgit was a champion once again. Thank you thank you! read more

DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH. Thompson BMW uses this branch as a loaner car company. Doylestown Enterprise charges BMW to loan vehicles to customers during service. I received a notification from my credit card nearly 4 months after I did a loaner through BMW saying that I was being charged $55 to rent a car. I immediately reported fraud to my credit card. This Enterprise LIED and said that I damaged the vehicle, even though they cleared the vehicle when I returned it. They said I punctured a tire and damaged sidewall after I "hit a log." Um...what? That never happened. They told my credit card the damage was $55, which is, coincidentally, the price they charge BMW for a loaner. Have you ever heard of all that damage they claimed to a BMW being only $55? They lied to my credit card company because they got nervous when they saw a legal fraud complaint against the company. BMW confirmed that they paid Enterprise for my loaner a week after I received the vehicle. BMW also confirmed that there was never damage to the vehicle. Doylestown Enterprise blatantly lied to avoid the fraudulent charge they attempted. They also accepted the vehicle when I returned it in perfect condition. I had the vehicle for only a few hours and only drove it under 10 miles. They released the security hold immediately after inspecting the vehicle when I returned it and continued to loan the vehicle to other customers. There never was damage. They tried to double dip for more money....nearly 4 months after I received and returned the loaner. They defrauded me, my credit card company, and BMW. If you are a BMW customer, insist that you get a BMW loaner, not an Enterprise loaner. You actually can choose between the 2. I, unfortunately, did not know I had this option when I received a loaner in February. Either way, the loaner is free to customers. BMW covers the charges. The Doylestown Enterprise just seems to like to charge the customer, even after being paid by BMW. Do you really want your credit card info in the hands of such a shady company? I had to cancel my card and get a new card because of Doylestown Enterprise's fraudulent practice. This Doylestown Enterprise does not even have an account with the Better Business Bureau. As per my request, my case is currently under investigation with my credit card company and with corporate Enterprise. BMW is also deeply disturbed. They have apologized to me profusely. This Enterprise will charge your credit card unlawfully and then lie about it in order to keep your money. I have documentation from my credit card company, from BMW, and from corporate Enterprise. They tried to defraud me, but they did not realize that I am a customer who actually checks his records. DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH...unless you want to be scammed. I can prove everything in this review. Feel free to reach out to me if you have concerns. This branch is disgusting. Again, BMW customers have the option to not use Enterprise as a loaner. Other rent-a-car customers have so many other options out there to choose from. Do not allow this horrible branch to have your credit card information on file to use at their disposal. Do not be scammed by a shady branch. This Enterprise is ruthless and corrupt. read more

I asked for comparable vehicle to rent which was mid size SUV as i carpool with other families involved in sports. It was necessary to haul sports equipment. I am so happy right now due to this location Taking care of me today. I thought the insurance company rep of the idiot that rear ended my wife's Mercedes made a reservation for me on Monday morning ( yesterday) but she didn't. I called enterprise Monday morning at 9 am and they did not have a reservation but made one for me at 11:00 am which was great because I had a body shop appointment scheduled. They picked me up at the body shop and brought me to the Doylestown location. They didn't have any mid size cars but offered me a Toyota Tacoma pick up truck and stated I could exchange the pickup for an auto later in the day or the next day. The pick up truck was nice but it really smelled bad , either from someone smoking or Having a dirty dog as a passenger. I just got a brand new Lexus F Sport last month and was hoping to have a rental for the week That I could give my wife but quickly realized I was stuck with the smelly pick up. I was too lazy to try to exchange the stinky Tacoma last night but the were able to switch the Tinky Tacoma for a sweet Altima with leather interior. I am so happy, now I get to drive my new F Sport for the rest of the week! read more

Awesome. Prompt pick up at my home by a super nice guy and was upgraded to what appeared to be a brand new vehicle with lots of bells and whistles. I liked that the agent walked around the car with me so that we could BOTH agree on the condition before I drove away. No hidden costs or any problems upon return. Have rented from others before, but this spot earned our business going forward! read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. They gave away my rental after I confirmed it was ready and available. This location ones not have their act together. Or maybe enterprise as a whole. I have to work with them as my insurance company is paying for my rental car while mine is repaired but otherwise I'd stick with hertz. I made a reservation at 7:30 am for a 9:30 am pick up for an economy car. At 10:30 no one came to my house. Turns out they took down the wrong house number AND the wrong telephone number. Finally get to the rental office and they insisted I had requested a full size tanker truck to drive away and charged me for it too!! Oh but good news, if I want to waste more of my time and money by missing work I can come in AgAin tomorrow am and see if maybe someone returned a smaller vehicle. read more

Very dissatisfied. online I ordered a Toyota Corolla, or equivalent, and I had to have them pick me up because I did not have another vehicle. I got there and was told all they had was a Toyota truck with a 2nd row of seats. And was told this was a complimentary upgrade because they didn't have the car I signed up for. So instead of calling me or telling me this when I spoke to them about getting a ride to their office, I feel like I had a bait and switch pulled on me. I had no other way to get home or to where I had to go that weekend so they had a captive audience and knew I had no other choice but to take whatever they gave me. I even said that I didn't think the 3 people and our luggage would fit and was assured it would, and again, I had no other options. So I ended up filling the tank for $40 and then when we went to pack it up we couldn't fit all of our stuff plus 3 people in it, Which Is WHY I ordered a car that had a TRUNK, not an open back truck which was useless because it was pouring where we were going so we couldn't put anything back there. and of course by then it was too late to call them, not that it would have done any good since they claimed they had no other options. So I had to beg to borrow a neighbors car and paid almost $400 for a vehicle I DIDN'T order, was forced to take and then couldn't use. So will I use them again or recommend them? Absolutely not. read more

Be careful with these guys, when I was pointing out problems with the car the agent says to me "don't worry about, it's normal wear and tear." Now they are charging me $500 for damage I never caused and everyone I try to speak to about this just shifts the problem onto someone else. read more

The Dover, DE location is terrible. The store manager Matt is awful and he couldn't have been bothered in helping us find a solution to an already bad situation considering we were stranded in DE due to unexpected car failure, coming from PA and heading to MD in the middle of a rain storm. The communication between representatives is lacking as well. Had he bothered to make a simple phone call like we suggested, he would've found that yes, there was definitely a different option than what he was offering and this review would've been a positive one. Most aggravating car rental! At the time of pickup Shaquille at the JFK Enterprise assured me that the dings and scratches that I pointed out were all within their acceptable "scratch and dent" guidelines and did not need to be noted but apparently the Doylestown representative, Kyle and another associate had different guidelines. After 45 minutes, my wife who was waiting for me, came in to see what was going on. Kyle explained that I could not have a return receipt without first writing an extensive report detailing every single hairline scratch on the vehicle even after confirming with the JFK office that the blemishes were not my fault! Having rented on average a car every month for business from Hertz, going to or coming from an airport, I can honestly say I have NEVER experienced such poor and unprofessional treatment. Kyle said he was just "doing his job" but I say, do it better! and I also could do without the sarcasm. Enterprise should take note from Hertz who will mark every scratch and ding regardless of size. That way there is no discrepancy between employees. Also, after flying all day looking for dents and scratches on a wet-from-washing car in a dimly lit garage is vastly different than looking at a dry car in bright sun light outdoors. This is a rental car and I was certainly not the first person to drive it. Other rental companies recognize this, Doylestown Enterprise does not. Word of caution, if you rent from Doylestown Enterprise be sure to mark every little imperfection on your agreement because they will go over the car with a magnifying glass. Really! One other side note; Do not bother using the Enterprise Kiosk for check-in unless your name on your credit card exactly matches your drivers license. My credit card uses initials for first and middle name. Enterprise Kiosk will also NOT work if renting one-way. Stay in line and use an agent. read more

It is hard to believe this will be my third review without Enterprise providing me an answer to my concerns. First time they said they never received my message; second time they wrote and said I would hear from the regional nanager, i have not. I've used this location twice now and have had a wonderful experience both times. Staff are happy, helpful, and honest.

Driver sent to pick me up claimed to have found my location and knocked on the door. Obviously he was at the wrong location as I was sitting next to a window overlooking the approach sidewalk and close to the door. Waited an hour and a half and finally got an email saying they were at my location and left after waiting 20 minutes. So I called them and they said they would send another driver. After an hour of waiting again I called again and found out they did not plan to send the driver for another hour yet. So I gave up and got a ride to their location. So much for "We'll pick you up." The rear seat upholstery was very dirty. Like wet dogs had inhabited the space. Also the inside of the windows needed to be cleaned badly. When the sun hit the windshield and back window just right you could not see out. (The lack of interior window cleaning is a big problem among many rental car companies.) When it got very cold the tire pressure warning lit up as the tire pressure went down, read more

Customer service was great, as I was picked up at the auto body shop and delivered to the Enterprise location in Doylestown to get my rental SUV (very nice for the price, too), and was then driven from Enterprise to the body shop when my car was finished. My recent rental was a disappointment. The car had a strong cigarette odor that wasn't very noticeable when I picked up the car because the air conditioning was on. However, when I used the car the next day, the odor was pretty strong. What was more of a problem was that despite my verbal declination to add additional insurance, it was put on the contract and I initialed the box. Totally my fault for being in a hurry and not really checking over what I initialed. Guess when I made the verbal declination I didn't bother to check to see if it was part of the contract. I discussed the problem when I returned the car but I was billed for the full amount. I was advised that I'd receive a call to see if anything could be adjusted but I never got such a call. The only message I received that I was being billed the full amount. I called several other times but none were retuned. An expensive lesson for me but the poor customer service from Enterprise makes it a no brainier for me to use a different rental company in Doylestown. read more

Most disappointing car rental experience! At the time of pickup a representative walked around the one-way rental with me and indicated the scratches and small dents are acceptable within in their guidelines and did not need to be noted. When I arrived at my final destination the Enterprise Rep there asked me if I knew anything about the dents on the roof of the car. They obviously have different guidelines because this rental location rep indicated that he just "inherited a problem" and would have to write up an extensive report. He recognized that this was not my fault but was glad to hear that I used the enterprise insurance because otherwise this would have been a nightmare for me. I was annoyed that the Enterprise in my town would do something like this. When I called them they apologized and just kept saying the other Enterprise rep should not have put me in the middle. Really? You put me in the middle of your little scam. Just do the right thing people! So annoyed. Note to the public: Always get their insurance. read more
