6-15-2023 made reservations for two shuttles for 9-30-2023. One from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., and another one from 9:30-1:30 p.m. 7-10-2023 I woke up to see a charge of $600.00 made to Fortune Transportation Group. I called to ask why this charge was made. I was told that they were having trouble with one of their shuttles with the transmission. That they would be ordering a part for it and that the part, but to make sure I was taken care of they had contacted another company to take care of me and that they wanted their money up front. 9-30-2023 Day of the Wedding - Shuttle service was to pick up the wedding party and family at 2:00. It showed up late at 2:30. Pictures for the family and wedding party were to be at 2:20, never got us to the venue until 3:07. A ten minute drive to the venue took over 45 minutes because the shuttle they sent had a transmission problem. Because of the transmission problem we and our guests were jerking back and forth the whole way. Contacted Len at the office about the transmission problem and he said it just had to warm up. Brian, the Shuttle Driver, also had the heat on and the window opened on a 70 degree day. I asked him if he could turn on the air conditioner that everyone just had hair and makeup done. Brian also did not take the correct way to the venue. It would take him over 40 to 45 minutes one way for a 20 minute roundtrip. This caused a guest to be late around 20-25 minutes late for the wedding. Brian was at the hotel at 4:00 to pick up our guest. He was to leave the hotel at 4:10 with the first set of guests, and be back to the hotel at 4:30 to pick up the 2nd set of guests. He did not arrive to the venue with the first set of guests until 4:32 pm. The Wedding was to begin at 5:00 p.m. Again, guests complained about him having the heat on and also the jerking back and forth because of the transmission issues. Also, one woman was having a hard time getting onto the shuttle, and instead of helping her, he just told her to take her time. He also dropped them on the back side of the venue and our guests had to walk around to the front. He knew where the front was because he had dropped off the wedding party and family members earlier in the front of the venue. We waited to begin the wedding as long as we could. At around 5:20 even though all the guests had not arrived, the bride decided to begin the wedding. Second set of guests arrived about 5:25 or 5:30. About 1⁄2 hour late of when they should have arrived. The shuttle driver was mad that the wedding had begun. He was asked by the parking attendant, wedding coordinator, and the venue coordinator to please turn off his engine. He turned it off while guests were exiting the shuttle, but turned it back on even after the parking attendant, wedding coordinator, and venue coordinator pleaded with him to leave it off. He went beep, beep, beep, out of the parking lot. This was while my daughter was taking her vows. A priceless moment that I can never get back. Him being so spiteful was like a big F __ k you to us. At 9:30 p.m. he did show up to take guests back to the hotel, but never returned again until 10:30 p.m. After dropping off the 2nd set of guests at the hotel at 11:11 p.m. and we never saw him again. His services were to be continuous from 9:30 - 1:30 p.m. The wedding ended at 10:30 p.m. It is in an area where there are a lot of shops, restaurants, and bars. We told our guests (156) that they could go out after the wedding and the shuttle would be at the venue to take them back to the hotel. All of our guests who went out that night had to get Ubers to take them home. How embarrassing this was to us, and inconvient to our guest. Susan Settle read more

Taken to the the Wells Fargo Center on 02/12. Driver left and gave me his cell phone number. After game was over called 20 times no answer. Finally had to Uber home. Find out later that the driver had an emergency and they needed to replace the driver. Did they call me or text me? No they emailed me the info. I had no idea things had changed. They should of at least had the limo waiting if I didn't get back to them. Stranded 11 people and affected many more. My advice is if you use them, do let the limo out of your sight. We will never use them again. read more

May be ok for local limo, but, DO NOT USE THEM for airport travel for multiple people. Bus was in terrible condition. A/C barely worked. The ride of the vehicle felt like it had no shock absorbers. Will never use again. read more

I had a horrible experience with this transportation company and I would strongly urge you to use a different company. Although we booked five weeks in advance, one hour before the limousine was scheduled to pick up four kids to take them to their senior prom, the company canceled without apology. I had four separate families at my house taking photos of the kids before their prom and I had to go and tell everyone that the limousine was canceled. It was really disappointing. We reserved the limousine for my daughter's senior prom and we went in on it with three other families. They were scheduled to pick up the kids at 6pm. At 5pm I got a call from Fortune saying that the limousine that was supposed to pick up the kids ran over a pothole and while they were doing everything they could to fix it they did not think that it would be available by 6 PM. They did not have a back up limousine in case of accident or repair needs. To run a limousine company and not have any plans or provisions for things going wrong, is really irresponsible. We were lucky that another company, Ali Baba limousine in Philadelphia, sent us a beautiful stretch limousine at a discounted rate at the very last minute. read more

I'm now a believer in that your vacation should start the second you walk out of the door until the second you walk in the door when you get back. My wife and I just wanted to thank you for both the drop off and pickup! That was the least stress I've ever had going to the airport and coming home. We'll be using your services every time we go to the airport now! Also, the Limo was amazing! Glad we made the change. read more

UPDATE: After reviewing the owner's feedback to this review, I reached out to Ilona (please note that she did not reach out to me directly even though she has my information). She apologized and offered me "10% off a future booking". I find it interesting that 10% off a future booking (which is less than the driver's tip), indicative of Fortune Transportation's idea of good customer service and "making things right". I find it even more egregious that they DO NOT TREAT EVERY CUSTOMER THE SAME, by offering one a free service for a vehicle breakdown for a prom (please see review dated 5/16/22) and yet offer the other a 10% discount on a future booking for wedding. I wonder what is their criteria for determining which customers they will treat better than others???? Their customer service is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, their apologies are insincere, and I stand by my original review. ________________________________________________________________________________ Original Review: IF YOU ARE WILLING TO ROLL THE DICE ON THE RELIABILITY OF YOUR TRANSPORTATION COMPANY, then book Fortune Transportation. I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Fortune Transportation on my wedding day was completely unacceptable. In the beginning, Ilona and Len were very nice, responsive and accommodating. I was able to easily book my reservation and confirm my itinerary with them leading up to my wedding day. They were scheduled to pick me and my wedding party up at 1pm on the day of my wedding, but called and left a message 45 minutes before our pick up stating that the limo bus was on its way, but had battery issues and broke down on the side of the road. He claimed they were trying to fix it and would get back to me. My wedding planner started communicating with them to see if they could send another vehicle instead and they told her they "would work on it". I (the bride) called 2 hours later, as we were then falling behind schedule, and Len told me that they were still working on the limo bus and they did not have any other vehicles they could send to assist with transportation. He did not express an apology or any concern for our situation and simply stated he would call me back once they figured out what was going on with the bus or he would refund our money if he could not pick us up. That was the last conversation I had with them. No one from Fortune ever called me back that day or even the next day to apology or express remorse for leaving us stranded. To add insult to injury, Fortune did not voluntarily refund my money. I had to dispute the charges on my credit card a week later. Lessons learned: 1. Select a company who has a reliable car fleet and/or a large enough fleet who can send alternate transportation if plan A does not work out. 2. Pay with your credit card so that you can dispute the charge if a company like Fortune does not voluntarily refund your money. 3. Work with a company who has better Customer Service and truly values the importance of a wedding day and will do everything in their power to help when they are falling short. Fortune did not offer to contact other transportation companies or anything to try to help us. They simply said their bus had battery issues, threw their hands up and left me stranded and scrambling to find alternate transportation an hour before my wedding.
