Let me tell you about Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Warrington, PA (35 Easton Rd), a company that apparently exists to waste your time and then blame you for it. We booked a large van WEEKS ago for a camping trip. Planned around it. Show up ready to load up and go, and the guy at the counter just casually tells us there's no van. Gone. Why? Because they supposedly "called" us and we "hung up on them." That is a lie. My husband pulls out his phone right there and shows him the screen. ONE missed call from Monday. No voicemail. No text. No second attempt. Nothing. They called one time, couldn't be bothered to leave a fifteen-second message, and decided that was their golden ticket to give away the van we reserved and paid to hold. So we ask the obvious question: what are you going to do to fix this? His brilliant, sit-on-your-hands answer? "Well, there might be one at the airport. But you'd have to go get it yourselves." MIGHT be. At a whole different location. Go figure it out yourselves. That was it. That was the customer service. And he just keeps saying it. "You hung up on us. You hung up on us." Like a broken toy. As if repeating a lie to my face turns it into the truth. No apology. No urgency. No flicker of caring that he was actively blowing up our family's trip while he stood there. Just dead-eyed, couldn't-care-less apathy. I had to walk out before I said something I'd regret, because the sheer combination of stupidity and indifference was genuinely unhinged. Here's the thing: a reservation is a PROMISE. We held up our end. Enterprise gave our van away, fabricated a story to cover it, and then shrugged when it blew up in our faces. That's not bad luck. That's a company that does not respect its customers even a little. If you're in Montgomery or Bucks County, save yourself the rage and book literally anywhere else. The Warrington location on Easton Road will leave you stranded and then tell you it's your fault. read more

Unfair Fuel Charge Due to Delayed Fuel Gauge - Enterprise Warminster (Street Road) Dear Enterprise Customer Care, I am writing to formally complain about an unfair fuel charge resulting from a vehicle issue during my recent rental from your Street Road location in Warminster, PA. I rented a Mazda CX-90, which I received with half a tank of fuel, per my rental agreement. After driving for three days, I used approximately one-quarter tank of fuel. Before returning the vehicle, I intentionally refueled the car to bring it back to half a tank, as required. To ensure accuracy, I turned the car on at the gas station to monitor the fuel gauge while refueling. The fuel pump automatically stopped while the gauge still appeared to be below the half-tank mark. After removing the pump and parking the car, the fuel gauge continued to rise. After approximately 4-5 minutes, the gauge indicated that the tank was full, not half. This delayed fuel gauge behavior caused me to pay for significantly more fuel than required, through no fault of my own. When I explained this situation to the Enterprise employee at return, I was told that: "It happens all the time, and we can't do anything about it." Enterprise disclaimed responsibility for the vehicle issue and placed full responsibility on me as the renter. While the employee did offer to contact Corporate, no immediate resolution was provided. I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for many years, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I believe it is unreasonable to hold customers financially responsible for known vehicle defects--especially when the customer made a good-faith effort to comply with the rental agreement. I am requesting: Reimbursement for the extra fuel cost caused by the inaccurate/delayed gauge A review of how fuel disputes related to vehicle malfunctions are handled Confirmation that customers will not be penalized for vehicle issues beyond their control Reply: Hi Stacy, Thank you for your prompt response. For your reference, I have outlined a timeline of the events below prior to proceeding with posting my review on Yelp: On April 30, I informed the local personnel of the issue at the time I returned the rental. On May 5, I followed up by phone to further discuss the matter with the local staff. After waiting an additional 2-3 days without resolution, I escalated the issue by contacting the corporate complaints department via email. I then allowed another week to pass without receiving a satisfactory response before considering posting my complaint publicly. Given the above timeline, I do not believe that contacting a general corporate email address will be effective at this stage. If possible, I would appreciate being directed to a specific individual or department with the authority to resolve this matter. Thank you again for your attention to this issue. They charged my credit card for a rental that was supposed to be paid for through insurance by my dealership. They never refunded the money and when I called 4 separate times they didn't do anything to help my cause. Here I am being charged interest with zero help on getting my money back. I finally call my dealership and they figured it out within 6 hours. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was ridiculous. read more

Needed a rental truck while mine is in for a repair at Caliber Collision across the street. They picked up a bunch of us and drove us across the street and were quick and efficient at getting everyone processed and into their vehicles. I had to change my original reservation date and there were no issues. I was able to drop the rental off at the body shop and just get my vehicle back. Very easy and would definitely use them again. read more

Ok Enterprise was very nice to respond to my previous grievance. It would be nice if they took the initiative to message me on here or look up the work, because I don't have the time or patience to go through that.. That said, I use the Warminster branch all the time. James, Eddie, sorry I forgot other people's name, but they are always very nice and accommodating. I just bought a newer car so I won't be needing them as much, but for a few months straight I used them almost every other week, very accommodating and honest people. I couldn't have asked for better experience with renting a car! The entire staff has been so helpful and accomodating everytime I have used a car from them in the past few months. The Warminster location offers Excellent customer service especially John, the Manager. He quickly helped me every time I was there, was extremely niceand does his best to provide a great experience with Enterprise, along with rest of the staff. It was my first and the last experience with them. The price was total different as they promised. They overcharged me without notice. When I talked to them and did time, location changes nobody told me that it's can be cost money. It's seems stuff is unprofessional. They even charged me for fuel which was fuel in back. Everyone need to be careful when go there, because they can charge you for every modify you do. And be sure when asked manager, it's seems everyone there can be manager. Most excellent no hassle professional service. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Called a day ahead and they met me at the body shop on time. Went back to their Warminster location for the rental. Expecting some cheap econo-box they put me in a new 2019 Nissan Altima. Nice!! Minimal paperwork, took pictures to verify condition and I was on the road in 30 minutes. Two weeks later my car was done so I left the rental at the body shop where they picked it up. Short version: - Rents out vehicles with active recalls that haven't been fixed!!! - Poor customer service when there are issues (that are caused by them)!!! Long version: Enterprise gave me a rental that had an active recall on it that for an issue that had not been fixed. I went on a trip 7 hours away from my home and 2 hours into it, I got a call from Enterprise telling me I had to switch my vehicle at the nearest location. I went to the location they told me to and they didn't have a car for me to switch to. I left. I was called again and told to go back and switch my car. I went back and switched my car. In doing so, I left my ez pass there (2 hours away from my home). I was told that it cannot be shipped to me. Since this all stemmed from them having given me a bad rental to begin with, they offered to get it shipped. One week later, I'm still waiting for it, getting no proactive follow up and the run around when I try to follow up. Highly suspect of the representatives' schedules - they are conveniently "out" or have "left the office" when there's something that needs follow up. Never had issues with Hertz or Alamo and prices are comparable - will be using them from now on. read more

I travel from Seattle to Warminster about 4 times a year to visit my parents at Anne's Choice and I always rent a car from this location. I come up from the airport on the Warminster train and they pick me up at the train station and drop me off there when I leave. I have never had a car that had any issues. I always got what I paid for or better. When I come on a weekend, the rate is usually very low and either way, much less than the airport. Customer service is always excellent and the people are friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is their hours. like most Enterprise locations, they are only open until 6PM and noon on Saturday. If I have a late flight, I have to have them pick me up the next day and take a cab to Ann's Choice. If I come in Saturday afternoon or Sunday, I have to rent at the airport. I like the gas policy. Most places want to play a shell game with filling the tank. They just charge you for the gas you use and the price is always better than the surrounding stations. Sometimes they get very busy and it has taken me as much as an hour to get a car but that can happen anywhere. My second complaint has to do with hourly rates. If I pick up a car on Saturday morning before noon and drop it off at 2 PM on Monday, the last 2 or 3 hours can cost almost as much as the rest of the rental. On my last rental, I paid $13.99 a day for the weekend days and $12 an hour for the 2 extra hours. My train is at 2:40PM to the airport. That was after Joe Brocker shaved an hour off for good behavior. For years, I used another company with a green logo (same parent company) because my company had a deal with them but after I started using Enterprise, I have not looked back. read more

Outstanding Service. Have you realized by now that customer service stinks almost everywhere you go, from your doctor's office to the take out restaurant? Don't worry, I found a place in Enterprise that was just great doing business with. It was flawless. Pricing when I got the final bill was exactly as promised, with no surprises. The "we pick you up" feature they promise? The driver was sitting there waiting for me. I wasn't waiting for him. The car I got was late model and spotless. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I dealt mostly with Emilee, who really has the touch for customer service. She's welcome at our Christmas party anytime. This location is most highly recommended. read more

Very good customer service. Unfortunately, the car reserved for us was previously rented by a SMOKER! The interior really STANK! And there had no other vehicle alternative options. The agent offered some suggestions of another ENTERPRISE near our destination. Yeah, the destination was 300 miles away, so we had to endure the smell. By the time the weekend was over (we had the weekend special), we used up 2 cans of Febreze maximum strength. ENTERPRISE, you need to enforce the Non-Smoking riot act. read more

Very good customer service by John Jackson. He was professional and courteous. He helped my Sister rent a car for a week while she looked to purchase a new car. She had been in a severe car accident. The rental car was clean, and ran well. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because there was a smart mouth employee there who was making comments under his breath (just enough for me to hear him) about questions I was asking with regards to the rental. My last experience with enterprise was not a good one, so I had some concerns. John answered my questions, so there was no need for this smart mouth, sarcastic employee to be involved in our conversation at all. He need's to be reprimanded. Husband needed an emergency rental as his tire blew. Rim bent and shop needed it overnight. He only had debit card & ID on him, I had our cc at my location, they wouldnt take cc over the phone, they refused to get him in a vehicle so he could come home. Then said they needed 2 major utility bills and a pay stub. Utilities are in my name (which is the same last name!) But they still would not get him into a vehicle. I called HERTZ - they had no problem renting to him just holding a deposit. Understood our situation and worked quickly to resolve it. Shame, Enterprise was once a wonderful training program, now they're training corporate robots who don't understand customer service. You were absolutely no help Dan and getting an attitude with me when I was panicking about my husband being stranded CERTAINLY did not help the situation. Rented a car from here. When it was time to return it, I returned it to the West Chester Enterprise location since it was closer to me. The guy at that Enterprise began coming up with ridiculous damage... First saying that there was hail damage on the roof. Hmmm....I rented in August, and the hail storm was in May...not sure how that happens.. He then said that the front light was cracked, which was already documented on the paperwork! He said that the manager from Enterprise (Warminster) will call me back once the car goes back to their location. I never received a call. The only call that I have gotten was from my Allstate insurance company because they actually put a claim in!! What a joke! It is obvious that they are trying to get their cars fixed by the insurance companies of the innocent people renting from them! How deceitful!! read more

Rented a car on 7/17/15 was in route out of state and noticed an expired registration, expired inspection, and no emission. Was told we did not need emission and that they would fax evidence the registration was pending to the closest office to our destination on 7/17 LIES! It was not sent. Was told the local office to our destination would have a new mini van for us LIES! That branch did not have a mini van and would not have one for over a week. Was told they would fax the registration on 7/22 said they were going to fax it over LIES! The said they were going to contact us LIES! They put us on hold to prioritize new customers walking in for 10+ minutes on multiple occasions/days. We waited until 7/24 (7 days later) and personally traveled an hr to the local Enterprise and in route spoke to the Warminster office they said they were faxing it over right now LIES! They had their colleagues waiting for 20 mins at the fax. Matt, James, John, Eddie, Zach shame on you! They prefer to lie then be honest. Report made to corporate office. They rented an illegal vehicle and made excuses and lies instead of rectifying the situation or at the minimum refused to be honest. Thank God we were not stopped with the state of police brutality in the world today! We treat you like you want to be treated... thats a joke in this office! read more

Where to begin. Horrible from the beginning. From the guy who told my husband he didnt want to deal with the paperwork for switching a car because it was a Friday or when Megan told me that they billed the other insurance company of the at fault person but only partially billed them and still billed me and charged my credit card down to Speaking with Adam, the "manager" about the situation... and him telling me he will call me back. Needless to say that was at least 2 weeks ago and surprise surprise... No call. I will never recommend them or use them again. And i am still trying to get reimbursed almost $300 because of their mistake. read more

BEST cars, BEST prices, BEST service!! I've used Enterprise many times in several locations, and the Warminster branch outshines the others-- these guys- Eddie, James, (and I think Matt?), are ALWAYS friendly and accommodating, and you can just tell that they are really trying to give you the best of what they can. They greet you like they're genuinely happy to see you when you walk in the door, even if they're obviously busy with other customers - which they seem to field with ease and definitely as a team. When I needed a car at the last minute, the were able to help me. When the car I wanted wasn't available, they got me into a better one. They worked to get me an even lower cost than I was quoted online. These are just a few examples of how they've gone above and beyond my expectations during my experience with them. Overall, on the phone and in the office, they let you know that they want you to be happy with their cars and their service. And yes, they really will pick you up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more
