How dare a woman tell him not to adjust things! He started arguing with me, claiming that his chest would be up against the steering wheel, even though he and I were the same height and he only had 10' to move my vehicle. It was hilarious. I finally walked away and sat to begin my wait, knowing the kindergarten arguments he was making would be fueled by any response I made. The correct response to ANYONE asking that cabin settings NOT be changed is "No problem." When I left to go home, all my mirrors had been changed, my radio station changed... Guess he showed me. A day later, I felt I had paid more than I expected to pay. Sure enough, although the stem valves were included in my package, he charged me $10 per tire for stem valves, $40 extra. This guy just could NOT have a woman telling him what to do, so he stuck it to me. I drove back and was extremely gracious, asking him if a mistake had been made, pointing out what was included in my package then the $40 extra I was charged. He carefully scanned the invoice and finally said, "Yes. It was a mistake." I replied that everybody makes mistakes, knowing this guy wanted me to know he was the boss and I had no right to tell him what to do. There was another employee witnessing this exchange. I wonder if he was a superior of the employee who was so hell - bent on screwing me because I dared to instruct him to leave my cabin settings untouched. If you are a woman, beware, stand up for yourself, then carefully check your invoice for "mistakes" and over charges. Better yet, go elsewhere. I am hoping the wheels and tires were installed properly and that this man's insecurity does not put me in danger. Can't be sure.

This man rolled up to my driveway in a van that looked like it had already lost a fight with a tornado, a raccoon, and possibly its own sense of self-worth. He hopped out, spilled an entire soda, and said, "Don't worry, that happens." Sir. SIR. Why is that your greeting?? He opened my hood, nodded like he was understanding the secrets of the universe, then poked a totally random part and said, "Yep, that's your problem." When I asked what the problem was, he said and I quote, "Mechanic stuff." Thirty minutes later my car was making a new sound I can only describe as "haunted dishwasher screaming into the void." I asked him if that was normal and he said, "Cars make noises." Then he charged me an amount of money so offensive I think it might be a hate crime against my bank account. He drove away. My car died. In the same moment. Like they were spiritually connected and my car couldn't continue living after witnessing whatever he did to it. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.

He talked to me the same way he talked to my boyfriend, a total plus as a person who feels like I am at risk of being taken advantage of simply by being a woman at an auto shop. My boyfriend was looking for a used Subaru. Unfortunately, the car he'd seen online had sold, but a similar one had just arrived at the lot. The owner told us that car wasn't yet for sale because it needed some work. He detailed the issues which he had identified and planned to fix that week, but let us look at the car and even take it for a test drive. He told us that, after the repairs, the car would be listed at a very reasonable price. We put down a small (refundable) deposit and came back about 5 days later to pick up the car. The work he had specified had all been completed, as well as a new inspection and emissions. He included a 6 month warranty. He apologetically explained that a parts delay during repairs had prevented him from washing the car and topping it off with gas, and gave my boyfriend some cash to fill up -- seriously, how nice is that?!

We went for a simple oil change. They left lights switched on over night which killed the battery. When we went to retrieve it in the morning the lights were still on. It was dead and needed to be jumped. Dee assured us if this keeps happening that they would replace for us. It inconvenienced us on multiple occasions having a dead battery. So we called Dee, explained the situation and she said no problem we will fix it. We arrive the next day only to find they wanted to charge us $170 plus! Outrageous. "Ooo ok really sorry we'll take off the labor, the total is $140." Unreal. Perry offered zero help and tried to brush us off. He supposedly called the owner and ultimately the took $30 off. Also to mention our battery still had a positive charge, something they did not test before replacing, only after. I highly recommend to use any other technicians than these as this how they treat their LOYAL customers.
