I took my vehicle there for brake fluid and coolant fluid change. I had appointment for 9am and didn't get out of there until after 12noon. I was not pleased with the service, coolant system was not completed, Coolant system was not properly filled, could have damaged the engine block or cylinder head, could have resulted in major engine repairs. Also the location manager had a don't give a darn attitude. I would not recommend having your automobile serviced at Abington Firestone on 1400 block of Old York Road. First time and last time visiting that poor customer service center. read more

The service is OK. Depending on what you get, you may have to wait. They communicated with me on what could happen when i.got a wheel alignment and they communicated the price range. I haven't had an issue the times I've gone. I'll go back. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. dropped my car off at 8:30 in the morning to get two tires changed and an alignment. was told my car would be ready in two hours. 445 I show up because I hadn't heard anything only to find my car hadn't been touched. The team said they prioritized people who didn't have appointments and even though I communicated I needed my car back by a specific time they chose to prioritize other vehicles. read more

This place is actually disgraceful. I've never cared about wait times because I will simply accommodate for them. But I arrived here at 11:00 am and said I would wait for my vehicle. They told me the service would take an hour. Then they informed me I need led a new car battery which they said they had in house. Fast forward to 2:00, still no battery, no updates on information, and constantly being blown off. I understand things happen but if they had told me they didn't have the battery in house I would have arranged accordingly. Instead they lied and it is an extremely disgusting thing to do to your customers especially for these prices. Gross read more

I appreciate some of the staff and their customer service. However, the follow-up and proactiveness of a few individuals leave much to be desired. We visited for a service on two occasions, and there was a lack of follow-through both times. If I hadn't called to inquire or if the servicemen had taken the time to dig a little deeper, I wouldn't have received the necessary results. I'm not happy at all. It only takes a few minutes to call the customer and advise of the status of the work. Now off to the dealer I go...having left the car with Firestone for 2 1/2 days; no one called to say so. I had to find this out on my own. read more

they will nickel & dime you. I was charged $75 to replace license plate bulbs. They wanted $400 for unnecessary maintenance.Never again!

They were professional on the phone. They took me right away. Competitive pricing. Friendly staff. Offered additional services, but weren't pushy about it. I'll go back. read more

Took my car in first thing this morning just for an inspection which I was promised by 7 p.m. Called at 6 to see if it was ready....nope, they couldn't do it today! They said, 'somebody called you', but I was right here by my phone all day and received no call. I asked if they could do it tomorrow....nope, it's too hard. Well, that's enough of Firestone. Too bad because they used to be good. Grrrrr..... read more

How can I book an oil change ONLY at 7:55am for a 12pm appointment and go into Abington and nonchalantly the representative says to me "we didn't confirm" and we won't be able to get you in for an oil change until Thursday. I've been coming to Firestone in Abington for over 15 years and not sure if I'll be back. Completely unacceptable and not customer centric. The manager Kevin usually runs a better and more professional environment. Firestone corporate is not worried about the service side of the their business. I'm very disappointed in this location and their corporate. Over 15 years and thousands of dollars spent here. I just spent over $977 two months ago and didn't blink twice. Never once have I've been treated this way, however when you get newer people that aren't experienced enough this is what will run your business into the ground. Especially repeat customers! Teachable moment.......:( I thought about posting on LinkedIn where I have over 3,000 connections, however I'll wait to hear from the manager!! read more

Firestone Complete Auto Care - Service, lacking professionalism, not even busy! - Tires Near Me - Abington, Pennsylvania

Scheduled an appointment online and was told that their website is broken. What!? Why does your website have a scheduling service that doesn't actually schedule an appointment and why do you know about the issue but it's still up? Unprofessional and not reliable. Guess what? Davis Tires does oil changes too across the street and they have appointments the next day not the next damn week. I understand it's a hard market right now but the website issue is a huge problem for me. Fix it. read more

Absolutely horrible, I would never in my life recommend this place for any service. They told me they could do an alignment, I only needed a minor adjustment because it drove straight however the wheels only lost tread on the outside. However when I got my car back the alignment was worse than it was when I took my car in the steering wheel was shifted to the right while it drove straight. They also said that they didn't have the right equipment to repair my vehicle and told me after they screwed it up, why not tell me you can't fix it instead of ruining my vehicle. They repaid me for my alignment however the cost to get everything repaired at the dealership was 5,102 dollars. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Please save yourself some money, time, and, energy by not going to this establishment! I had to take my car here 3 different times for the same issue before they finally fixed it correctly!!! During the 3 visits I experienced the worst customer service I ever had! The communication was non existent. They would always tell me they would call me back and never did. The last time I was asked could they call me back I said no and the response was I could wait on hold for 30 minutes until the manager came back. They were not apologetic at all. When I was telling them about the terrible service I received they just said ok and walked away while I was still talking. This place is absolutely horrible! This is the worse branch ever. I brought my civic there to get my tires in my new rims. They did not do exactly what I asked and that was any balled tires please put them to the rear so there will be a rotation. They did only the passenger side. Then they reset my TPMS ... they still not connected. And I bought the unlimited alignment. Still pulls to the right. Wasted my complete day to have a half ass job. So after spending all day there for my first mistake. I made an appointment this time dropped it off around 9:45 am. Roughly. What I requested on the civic ... driver side tires to be switched out the easiest thing to do. Reset my sensors and make sure they stay reset. Another easy thing todo. And fix the wheel alignment which should be easy also cause it just had one so all that had to be done is fix the pull to the right. As an old manger of a shop ... literally 2:30 hours tops... so here is the lame excuses 1 called me to ask if it's the Highlander and where is it. Before calling ( they didn't even notice the key is a honda. So clearly you not fixing a Highlander ). Called back around 2:30pm they said it will take another 2 hours. I called back around 4:50pm why I didn't get a call and why it takes so long. They try to give me another lame excuse it takes 2 hours to do an alignment. I explained it does not take 2 hours to do an alignment, 45 min to an hour tops. Especially if you just did it. It should be quicker. And all that tells me they didn't even do it right the first time. Crazy part is when they gave me the paper it showed they aligned it out the red marks into the green which means they did not do it right the first time..... so they supposedly test drove it. That was a super lie... cause the when I got it home I checked everything I asked for and nothing was done the 2nd time and they had my car till 5:45pm. I made another appointment. This time who ever acted like they didn't give a shit about my complaint. Then brushed me off. So I did the appointment. To wake up the next day to decide I will not bother with them again. Cause if they can't get it right the 2nd time they damn sure can't do it the first time. Do not go here it's poor service and dudes that really don't know what they are doing. All you will get is headaches and you're just held for no reason to eventually go somewhere else to spend more money ... I regret getting the unlimited wheel alignment. Cause I wasted money on 2 cars. I know for a fact NJ firestones are the back bone of the company PA. So far straight trash. I hope the next place will prove me wrong. Cause I called up another Firestone near this trash spot and they sounded just like them and I turned them down also. Cause I knew they were the same type of service. Once they tried to explain how long a wheel alignment takes I knew right there their service team was trash also ( Bustleton Ave ). Like I said I hope the one I made an appointment with will prove me wrong. But as for these 2 trash spots .... If I can give a -100 that would be the score they receive. Cause there is no way alignment takes 2 hours after it already had one. That's just trying to out smart customers who they think don't know any better. My ex use to say they trying to out smart the average bear. When they just look like numnuts!!! read more

I had low expectations going into this because of the prior reviews. But I actually had a completely positive experience with Firestone on Old York Road. And they were open earlier and closed later than all the other places I considered. I will return! read more

Can I give zero stars? What a rip off! Needed headlight bulbs replaced, which is kind of a pain on my car since it has to be done through the wheel well. They charged $48 for replacing the one and it stopped working that week. The other, they wanted to replace the socket. They ordered it and it got the wrong part. They would have charged $14 for a $4 part and nearly $100 to install it. read more

I made an appointment on line that was confirmed with an email. The appointment was for an oil change while you wait. When I arrived they said they do not honor on line appointments. We took our car to the Firestone in Abington, PA for a state inspection a week or so ago. It passed the emissions test, but failed the safety inspection. Firestone told us we needed 3 major things done to our car in order to pass inspection, totaling over $1,000. They suggested another $2,000 in "preventive" maintenance. We usually take our car to our Honda dealer for routine maintenance and major repairs, but they are over 40 minutes away so we go to Firestone for tires and other minor issues because they are nearby. We didn't think Honda could have overlooked these safety issues when doing routine maintenance so we decided to take the car to them for a second opinion. They told us nothing was wrong with the car, so we told them what Firestone had said and asked them to take a second look. They said they could not find anything wrong. We can only surmise that someone at Firestone - either on their own, or at the direction of management - made up these repairs to increase profits. We believe Honda over Firestone because our car is 12 years old and Honda knows we will be car shopping in the near future and they would not want to lose our business. Here's the kicker - in talking to the service rep at Honda we learned that in the state of PA (we're from MA) the manner in which a car is inspected is totally arbitrary, creating lots of room for dirty dealings. It's ridiculous! No other state I have lived in (I have lived in 8) performs their annual inspections this way. My next letter will be to the state of Pennsylvania. We have had very good service from Firestone in the past, but this brings serious questions to light about their honesty. I called today to ask if there had been an ownership or management change recently, and I was told that yes there had been, about a year ago. Maybe that accounts for what happened to us. read more

I took 4 tires in to be put on my Hellcat. They called me and said they broke off my tire sensor and I could drive it but it needed to come back the next day. When I left work I had a flat tire and had to get towed to firestone. They replaced the faulty valve and called me to pick up my car. The manager handed me the Keys and said to call if I had any issues... when I got to my car ALL OF MY RIMS WERE DAMAGED. They took giant chunks out of all of my black rim. I'm currently waiting for the manager to get in touch with corporate which apparently cannot be done until Monday. I wish I could give this place zero stars read more

I want to compliment the staff for providing me with a quick diagnostic and fixing the problem immediately! Danielle was great she had a Service technician pull the car a few minutes after I arrived and within 1/2 she advised what part needed to be replaced. The only delay was waiting for the part to arrive from their Vendor. Once the part arrived the car was ready in less than 1/2 hour! Unfortunately I live in Arizona so I won't be able to patronage them again until I return but I told my mother that she needs to make this location her first choice for future tires or repairs! Kudos to the staff for doing a fantastic job!! read more

I had scheduled an online appointment for getting my car's oil and wheel alignment done. To my surprise I received a call right after I left my house that it may take 4 hours for the work to be done. The person who told me said there is a glitch in their online scheduling on their website and he cannot do anything about it rather than I would have to wait. I told them that this happened last time time when I got my car serviced and it took three hours and at that time too when again I had scheduled my appointment online. He was like he cannot help me as it's not their fault. He blamed on the corporate office that they are not fixing this glitch after mentioning them multiple times. Next time I am not going there and would warn others as well. If you have prepare to wait then it's not an issue as they do good job on your car. read more

The service here is very poor. Poor customer service. Employees are more concerned with joking with each other than servicing customers. Staff is very rude as well. I was told my vehicle mind you i was getting a tired repaired would take an hour. I arrived back an 1 hour and 15 mins later inquired about it to staff if it was ready. I was met with a blank stare and told the time was pushed up. No apology. Very surprised this vehicle is still in service. Tire manager Chris is especially rude to staff read more

I went to the Firestone in Abington, PA for a 4pm appointment and was told when I arrived that it would take almost two hours for my car to receive four new tires. At first the two hour wait didn't seem like much however when I returned to the firestone an hour and 18 mins after dropping my car off it was still in the exact same spot. When I voiced my opinion about the poor service to the sales associate, Christian, he was very rude and completely unprofessional. Clearly the place was overbooked and instead of letting me know before hand I ended up waiting almost 3 hours for my car to be finished. It's safe to say that I won't ever be returning to this firestone ever again due to the poor service. read more

Ok so I went in for four new destination LE 2's prompt service friendly staff. I'm waiting and the service manager comes out and tells me my air filter and license plate light need replacing. Ok first thing first. Why are you popping the hood in my truck in order to change the tires? Oh wait your not because if you had you would have seen that it was a brand new filter that I had replaced myself the week before. Oh and no I wasn't off roading through the week getting it dirty. Next how did you see the light was out if it's the middle of the day. Oh that's right you didn't because it wasn't. I have the bulbs at home so i put one in my center console and asked my mechanic to replace it when he finished the inspection. The reason I had new tires put on it in the first place. My mechanic asked me why all my lights worked fine otherwise he would have told me for the inspection. The only reason they got a two star rating is because they did do a good job on the tires. I have been a customer of firestone for years and never have I ever experienced such a nasty and unprofessional customer service representative. I had an appointment for 7am this morning to get an inspection. Penndot is no longer sending out paper vehicle registration cards s I had the copy on my phone. The Firestone representative told me I needed the physical copy of my registration which i didnt think was needed due to we can show them on our phones now. I told the Firestone Rep that they should instruct customers when making an appointment for inspection the physical card is needed now that we no longer get physical cards and just like insurance cards people can easily think the physical cards are no longer needed. I asked him if I could email him or the store and print a copy of the Registration. He replied back to me that no he couldn't and we began to argue our positions. I asked if I could speak to the manager and he told me he was the manager. He began to get loud and started to talk down to me instructing me i needed to go home or go to a Kinkos to print out the card. I told him "don't yell at me" and he told me I was yelling at him which in fact i wasn't. I told him "i got you", recorded his name as Chris, told him "you are a fucked up manager" and started to to walk out. He yelled to be as i was leaving "I will fuck me up and beat yous ass." I couldn't believe he just threatened to physically assault me. I then said"come beat my ass then." He came from around the counter and told me to come on. I said "you just said you would beat my ass so go ahead and beat me." He told me to go outside so he could beat me, so i walked outside and he followed. He then told me to come on and hit him. I told him you was the one that said you would beat my ass. He then said "just like I thought, you a bitch ass nigga. Leave and never come back here." I told him i would come back another time after I speak to Firestone Corporation. He told me he was calling the police and I told him to go ahead. I waited for the police and left after they spoke to both of us. I called the Firestone on City Ave and the manager answered the phone. Before I told him about what just took place I told him about the vehicle registration situation and he asked if I had my Laptop on me(which I did) and he would be able to print out the registration for me from my Laptop. So I am now writing this review at the Firestone Bala Cynwyd. I was told that the representative Chris wasn't even the Manager of the Abington Firestone. I have always had good customer service at this Firestone so I dont want to say this reflects the entire location but I suggest to avoid the African- american gentleman named Chris that works the morning shift at all costs. Granted I did curse at him and said he was a fucked up manager but never should he have come from behind the counter and threaten to assault me! read more
