I hired this company for my wedding on 6/5/21. Two stops in total, one to pick up the groomsmen and take to the venue, then a second stop to pick up the bridesmaids & bride and take to the venue. The drive each way is only 30 minutes. It took the driver a total 1hour for the first stop. Myself (the bride) and my entire bridal party had to find alternate transportation last minute so we wouldn't miss my wedding ceremony. Their manager Ron, who I spoke with about the incident was extremely apologetic at first, stating he didn't understand why she took back roads, why she would have stopped at wawa to fill up on gas with the groomsmen in the vehicle and didn't understand how it took so long for what should have been a 30 minute drive. The second time I spoke with Ron, he stated he spoke with the driver who suggested stopping at wawa because the men were talking about how hungry they were, however the groom stated that no, they would not be stopping as he knew he had a deadline to meet. They stopped anyway for the driver to top off on gas. Ron then used this situation to place ALL of the blame on my husband. After this he became extremely rude and arrogant, and as I said blamed everything on my husband, although Ron even initially stated himself that the wawa stop was only a total of 7 minutes. So where are the other 24 minutes accounted for, since the 30 minute drive took a total of 1 hour? I have time stamped text messages from the driver informing me she had just arrived at the venue exactly an hour after she left the groomsmen's house. Meaning it would take another hour to get to my house, and another hour after that to get to the venue, which would have made me and my bridesmaids miss my ceremony COMPLETELY. We had no choice, we had to leave to make it on time. Since her 30 minute drive was an hour. Ron could not have treated me and my husband any worse, and took zero responsibility for anything, even after he admitted to speaking with the driver and stating he didn't understand why she would have done any of that. I paid $400 to be taken to my wedding but instead my wedding photographer had to remove the car seats from her car to take me and my family to the wedding. I am absolutely mortified that this company would deem this acceptable. I will say that the last phone call I had with Ron became extremely heated on both ends, things were said and it turned into a full on argument, but I urge you to please go back and listen to all the previous recordings, including the one on the day of the wedding. I really am an understanding person and we made the best of the situation but when I am insulted and treated the way I was with Ron, well, I just don't stand for that. On the other hand, Don, the guy I spoke with on my wedding day, he was awesome, give that dude Ron's job. Oh also Ron made it clear that I will not be receiving a refund as 'it's all my husband's fault' that the driver never made it on time. So I have issued a charge back on my card for the final payment, I have sent my bank the schedule, trip confirmation, and text messages with the driver. I will never recommend this company to anyone, solely due to the way Ron treated me and my husband for something that was completely out of our control. read more

Ownership/Management of this company is shady. Their drivers are really good, but the company stinks. Today is 1-13-2015. This company has been billing a "fuel surcharge" to all their customers EVEN as crude oil prices and retail fuel prices have been dropping like a rock. When I confronted them on this matter, I was told it was how they do business. I also noticed they bill their customers a "transportation service fee." It is 22%. This is on top of the base fee to PHL which is $84. It is essentially a tip for the COMPANY, not for the DRIVER. When I spoke to the people in the office, they were bewildered that I questioned their billing practices. When you call to set up a pick-up, the staff is extremely friendly in getting all the exact details. They call you a day before to confirm and then send text and email updates. We needed a last minute reservation (after having concerns about the original car service company we booked) for a bachelorette party, wine tasting in the Brandywine Valley. The dispatcher was extremely helpful in setting up our reservation and ensuring confirmation. Our driver, Tim was outstanding. He arrived early, waited until our entire party arrived and helped us in the van. The van was very clean and had bottles of water available. Tim was personable, took group photos of us at the different wineries (and gave suggestions of backgrounds), was a great driver, made sure our music worked before we started driving (safety first), made us laugh and helped make the day unforgettable. We paid to have two large shuttles for our guest transportation to our wedding reception. On the first transfer, one of the shuttles completely broke down - and all the guests had to order ubers to get to our reception. They were never able to send out a second shuttle (even for the trip back after the reception) so we had to transport 200+ guests to and from our reception with one shuttle. read more

To start off, I would actually give 4.5 stars instead of 5/5 but rounded up. For our wedding day reception transportation (to/from hotel) we researched several companies and decided to go with Sterling's "No Guest Left Behind" option for the 2 hrs at the start of the event and the 2 hrs at the end, as it was the most cost-effective. I worked with Christina and she was very responsive through the planning process. The driver was friendly and drove safely and there were no problems that were mentioned by guests and I was pretty satisfied in that respect. However at the end of the event, possibly due to rain or people's requests, the driver did not leave at the scheduled time, instead delaying by 20 minutes to allow all the guests to pack on. I was happy that all my guests were accommodated, however, this delay resulted in the last pickup time being very late and having to wait nearly an hour for the last shuttle ride at the end of our long day. My husband and I, my entire wedding party, and all the gifts had to crowd in the reception's lobby, tired and worn out, waiting for the bus. In the end, I'd still recommend their services for guests, as their needs were met. read more

The vehicle was a 29 passenger mini bus. It was in immaculate condition. It was very comfortable for my guests. We hired Sterling to provide 2 hour continuous transport back and forth between the hotel and the wedding venue both at the start and also at the end of our wedding celebration. Prior to the date of the wedding I asked for and was provided with contact information for the driver we'd be using. One hour before the vehicle was dispatched I received a text letting me know he was on his way. I also received a text when he arrived. The minibus arrived on time, in fact he was there a few minutes earlier than he needed to be. Will helped the guests that needed additional help into and out of the vehicle. The other nice thing was that we had the same driver for both the beginning and the end of the evening.
