I'm not a big yelp reviewer but felt like i had to for this. I got an old silk 15x18 rug from a friend. It was in pretty bad shape- needed to be washed, cut, sheared, etc. A few folks I called stopped by and saidI may be better off buying a new rug. They quoted astronomical rates and said it still might not come out great. When Shahram stopped by and quoted less than half of what anyone else did I was skeptical and figured it would be lower quality service but thought I might as well go w the cheaper option since it may be beyond saving. Super happy I did. The customer service was unbelievable, they did the job incredibly quickly and i was blown away by the results. I could not recommend them more. read more

I recently moved and bought a beautiful runner from Turkey for my hallway. I looked up a few rug repair shops in the city to see about cutting it down 3 feet (while keeping the border) to fit my space. Shahram at AAA was quick to reply with a very reasonable quote and told me I could bring in the rug whenever I found time. Upon arrival, Shahram was welcoming and helped me try different options in where to cut the rug so it would look best. Once I decided on where to cut, I was told it would be about 10 days until it was finished. I was pleasantly surprised when I got an email saying it was ready 5 days later! The rug is beautiful. When I told him I had a friend who loved the rug so much she wanted it, he made a little rug out of the leftovers--so sweet! My boyfriend and I were moving into a new apartment and he had this great area rug but from years of not diligently cleaning it, it was shabby and had some holes. I didn't want to move into our new apartment with a dirty rug (plus he's allergic to dust--bad combo all around) so we contacted AAA Rug Repair via yelp. Shahram was quick, responsive, and extremely helpful. We messaged over yelp and moved to email. We sent him pictures of the rug and the particular areas that needed repair. They picked up the rug from his apartment before he moved and delivered it to our new one two weeks later (we needed extra time because we went on vacation). They had no problems with non-elevator buildings--and for that we are extremely grateful (4th floor walk-up). It was affordable, and now the rug looks AMAZING. Seriously. The man who delivered the rug helped us set it down, explained what the best placement for it would be, and provided cleaning advice. This place had unbelievable service, and went above and beyond. I was storing two little area rugs under my bed, and took them out to finally display them, when I noticed moth eggs all over them. I was so grossed and and didn't know what to do, so I messaged AAA on Yelp, and they got back to me with 5 minutes. They were open all weekend and worked around my schedule. They were very knowledgeable about the damage that moths can cause so I knew that my rugs were in good hands. They couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. Within a few days, both rugs had been cleaned and assessed for any damage that the moths had caused. When I picked them up, Shahram had cut rugs pads for both at no charge. I will definitely be going back and will recommend AAA to anyone having rug issues in the future! read more
