It was a little tough to decide on 3 or 4 stars with this company, but I decided on 4 because I believe that the main part of the project was done WELL, and with integrity. Nicky, who I believe is the owner of a small business, made me an offer that was much more expensive than the other 4 quotes I had gotten through Yelp. He was available the following day, but I noticed that he had no reviews on Yelp. That alone is a concern of mine, so I told him it's a "no-go" if he's the most expensive guy with no reviews. He basically let me name a fair price, so I kind of low-balled him because of the no-reviews thing. I told him I'd leave him a thorough and fair review if I used him, and we both accepted. Nicky showed up the next day on time. That was pretty easy, as he left himself a 4-hour window, whereas other companies were asking for a 2-hour arrival window. No biggie, but that could be a concern for someone with a busy schedule. He did wear a mask upon leaving the car, and told me I didn't have to (which I appreciated). He wound up taking it off later with my permission, and I have a lot of respect for his asking. Like many service providers, he was very willing to "double park" in our co-op's private parking lot, where he's not even supposed to park at all. I thought that was presumptuous and inconsiderate, but I directed him to a spot in the lot that I know to be unregistered to anyone. Nicky was quick to get set up. I checked in on him more than a few times during the service and he was good to go. My situation was not ideal, as the vent where the dryer unit's exhaust exits my garden apartment is smack-dab right above a steel awning that covers my entrance. If it wasn't for this awning, I'd have done the cleaning myself. So he needed to get a tall ladder and set it up alongside this awning (which is maybe 4' wide), and at times, lean over the awning to remove the vent cover, which was attached with screws. (See photo of vent cover.) The one thing that I really did appreciate about Nicky was this: In the middle of the job, when he finished using his pro vacuum from inside my apartment, he decided to use his brush going in from the outside, from the ladder at the awning. If he didn't do this, I wouldn't have known any better. I thought it took great integrity to do the right thing in this instance, since that part of the job is very difficult, and somewhat dangerous. At one point, he asked me to hold down the bottom of his ladder, which I gladly did, and I think that's when he was putting back the vent cover... which leads me to my main complaint. Earlier, he showed me how he used a small piece of black tape to keep the vent closed for some reason. I didn't know what he was showing me that for, and didn't go into it because Nicky speaks with a little bit of an accent and was sometimes just a little difficult to understand. Upon paying him (I'm glad he had a credit-card reader to attach to his phone), I allowed him to charge me an extra $25 because he had done a good job. At the end, he asked me if I wanted to leave an extra tip, and I was like, "Bro, that's what the extra $25 you charged me was for." Maybe I'm a dick. I don't know. After he left, I noticed the black tape all over the vent cover. Will it stay? Probably... I don't know. Does it look pretty? Hell no. Would I have been OK with it if he had ASKED me? I'm really not sure. It's much easier to remove screws than it is to put them back in, generally. But I really would have appreciated his letting me know before I paid. I would have held on to that extra $25, as I have to remember this every time I come home now. Honestly, I would definitely have used Nicky again if my job were an easier one, but I can't get passed the black tape thing, and the lack of communication surrounding that issue. I think that--if you have a standard project that lacks some crazy kind of challenge--Nicky is fine for the job. He's a decent, good guy, but needs some more experience looking at things from the customer's point of view with regards to the finer points of customer service. Sorry for the book! read more

Superb job. Nicky came by the same day that I called, gave me an estimate, and took the rugs away. A week later they are literally like new, including the two partially sisal rugs that the manufacturer insisted couldn't be cleaned. Worth every penny. Nicky will be my go-to. read more

Good communication, arrived and did the work promptly. We originally planned on getting a rug steam cleaned but opted for the on-site shampoo, which cost three times as much. Not sure if it was worth it. The rug was definitely clean, but we were hoping it'd be a softer and more plush afterwards and this wasn't really the case. I don't think this was any fault of the cleaners, but it would've been helpful to have more objective guidance on how different the end results would or would not be with different services. I recommend doing your research beforehand to be sure about what kind of cleaning you want. Also, they said to wait 4-6 hours for the rug to dry, but it still wasn't fully dry 12 hours later. Otherwise, we're happy with the service. read more

Deep cleaned my white couch and it looks so much better. I hired a different company that was very highly rated and expensive to clean and they didn't get a lot of stains out. Local Green Clean was well priced and told me I needed to deep clean with shampoo instead of just steam clean, which worked. They came the next day and got it done. Highly recommended read more

Fast and friendly service. Uses pet friendly products. I would recommend this carpet cleaner.

Nicky was able to complete our job quickly, and though unfortunately not all of the stains could be removed, our sofa is as clean as it can be. He was in and out quickly and worked with our schedules. read more

Local green clean is hard-working, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was happy to use them for a couch cleaning.

Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable and polite hon arrival. The only thing I would suggest is to ask for the fee for everything up front because the young lady who answers the phone for the company quoted me $60 plus $10 to carry equipment to the second floor. However, upon their arrival it was actually $200 for deep cleaning and shampooing. I was thrown off by this because the young lady have inaccurate information and should've informed me of possible "additions". Nevertheless, I am very very pleased with the outcome as I have a pet who really messed up an area in the house and they got rid of it flawlessly. Great job! read more

I hired Local Green Clean to deep clean and disinfect my sofa and living room area rug, and steam clean my bedroom area rug. Their prices were very reasonable, customer service was prompt and very friendly, and it was easy to get an appointment. They did a great job on my rugs and sofa and even gave me some tips for caring for an antique rug that's a family heirloom. Great experience from quote to completion! My apartment smells beautiful thanks to their work. read more

Nicky came to clean 10 air ducts, dryer vent, kitchen hood vent. They used a long dryer vent brush (like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SQYX2FH) and a vacuum with a 3 inch hose. They didn't use a compressor to blow out dust. They also didn't clean the condenser coils and didn't disconnect flex ducts from the condenser. They came past the service window promised the previous day, but they called ahead to say they would be late. They were very courteous and careful. They spent about two hours. It seems they put an effort to do a good job. read more

Nicky was great. He was punctual, quick and very nice! Our couch smells great and we're satisfied with the work!

We recently moved and our hired movers removed the protectant and destroyed our white couch. We reached out on yelp and got an honest quote for a cleaning. Nicky was upfront about expectations and showed us progress through the whole cleaning. We added a stairs cleaning to our service and they brought very old worn carpet to life. I appreciate their kindness and will definitely look to use their services in the future read more

Nicky is absolutely amazing. I contacted him at around 6 or 7AM with a total catastrophe on my hands. He was courteous, understanding, and came the same day. He definitely overdelivered! I really didn't think our couch was salvageable but he got it done and got it done fast! Really rescued us. Thanks Nicky! read more

Amazing service. I spoke with Nick and set up an appointment the next day. He was on time and even called 20 minutes before to let me know he would be arriving soon. He cleaned and sanitized my couch thoroughly and quickly. It looks and smells divine! read more

Really happy with my experience. My cat peed on my couch and I attempted to clean with a chemical-based spray. It stained my velvet couch and did not help resolve the urine smell/stain. Local Green Clean did an amazing job of getting out the stain/smell of the cushion. The cushion looks exactly like it did before the incident. Would definitely recommend! read more

Quick and efficient. Got a quote and an inspection in the same day.
