Wonderful job, done about six months ago and it's held up. There was an issue with the equipment and it had to be finished on a second day but they were all very apologetic and professional. There was one small spot of over spray, but overall it looks great. The project was a wonderful value and there was no funny business with upsells or "problems" that made the price go up. They did suggest we add grit to the shower floor, but after feeling how slippery it was without I'm glad we added it on. 10/10 would recommend read more

Very friendly and took the time over the phone to explain all facets of work and pricing. Based on that and previous reviews we hired Diamond Reglazing. Andreas arrived on time. Did a lot of preparation to keep area neat. Set up exhaust fan to the outside. End result was a very good job of reglazing the tub, tile surround and the sink. We are very happy with the work. So much so as we are in talks to have our kitchen cabinets redone. read more

Diamond Reglazing - Our bathroom - Refinishing Services Near Me - Srream, New York

I had peeling paint and a blue mold growing on my cast iron bathtub. Since I have a toddler who loves taking a bath, we needed to reglaze the bathtub ASAP. I probably researched more than 20 reglazing businesses on both Google map and Yelp and contacted more than a dozen places that had at least 4 stars. Diamond Reglazing had the best price ($300 cash for removing the previous paint and reglazing with the 5-year warranty) among other places that quoted me from $350-475. I contacted them on Wednesday and was able to make an appointment that Saturday at 9am. Andre showed up on time and was professional and efficient. He carefully wrapped my bathroom sink, toilet and floor and tried to get as much debris and leftover as possible. He was done in 2.5 hours and explained to me not to use bleach as it might make the acrylic paint come off and to use Scrubbing Bubbles instead. The bathtub looks brand new and I'm so satisfied with the result that I'm now considering reglazing the entire bathroom instead of renovation. Thank you so much and I'll definitely be back! read more

Review by Alayne Cox - Windsor Terrace/South Brooklyn. This is the second time Diamond Reglazing has done our bathtub. There were no chips or worn spots on most of the tub. This is amazing, because other companies have reglazed and their work only last 12 month or so.I suspect that they thin their glaze so it doesn't last!! The only thing Mario needed to do was reglaze the sanded slip free portion on the floor of our tub. I asked him to do two coats and he did. I highly recommend Mario and Diamond Reglazing for their quality work. This is a family owned business, so give them a call today!! You won't be sorry. read more

Marco was amazing, totally professional and made the tub look brand new! I cannot speak more highly of his work, what a pleasure to have something done right. My tub was reglazed before and I didn't have much hope that it would turn out perfect, but it absolutely did! read more

Diamond Reglazing provided a wonderful service by updating our tired bathroom. They offer both tile re grouting and re glazing services which we used. This is a far better and economical solution over a bath fitter system. Our tub and bathroom looks wonderful and bright. Marco and his team were detailed, clean and timely ( even early! ) Everything was confirmed before the work began, and I was able to check in during the process. For anyone considering this service be aware it will stink up the House like paint for awhile, and the Reglazing process takes at lease 24 hrs to cure. They are fair priced and I'd definitely recommend them or use them in the future. read more

This family owned business take pride in their work and offer excellent customer service! They bring everything they need with them and do not leave anything behind. I told my building superintendent to recommend this company to all households that could use their service! read more

Came on time. Did the job and cleaned up afterwards. I would def recommend their business. Thanks.

Throughout the process, Marco was patient, professional and responsive. He was prompt in his replies around a quote, and all subsequent communications both phone and email. Between my struggles with technology, to the property management company's broad qualifications, Marco was very professional. I'll be contacting him again should I need anything reglazed. read more

On time, no mess, no fuss. We needed to do this job asap, they scheduled us for the following Saturday and as they knew we wanted it right away, called us within a few hours as a cancelation was made and the following morning was available. Answered all questions before coming, gave great advice for maintenance when the job was completed and left everything neat and clean. The price given was the price charged, without any upsells. Great professional and methodical job! Highly recommended. read more

We are redoing my parents' condo in eastern Long Island to sell it. The bathroom shower was in TERRIBLE shape. General Contractors were way too expensive, DIY videos I saw on YouTube looked impossible, way too prone to messing it up, also completely toxic to my health and the results didn't look so hot, to say the least. I happened across a house flipper's video who suggested getting the shower *professionally* reglazed and called a couple vendors I saw here on Yelp. Marco got back to me right away, asked me to send pix of the shower, gave me a price quickly, agreed to drive out to eastern Long Island, was able to schedule the work quickly & it came out BEAUTIFUL. It was the best $$$ we spent BY FAR. Even our painter was impressed! Highly recommend. read more

Diamond Reglazing gave me the best price for reglazing my entire bathroom (all walls, floor, and bathtub). My bathroom had a peach color, but I wanted to have the white walls and grey floor without doing a full renovation, as the tiles are still in great condition. Marco's work is a full 10 out of 10, very professional and courteous. I am super happy with the outcome and quality of his work. The preparation work was meticulous and actual spray job is excellent! He answered all of my questions promptly, and is quite honestly one of the nicest guys I've worked with. Thank you very much Marco for your services!!! read more

I had my bathtub reglazed a few weeks ago and was very happy with the end results. However, there are a couple of things I was disappointed with: 1. Extra charge for the non slippery surface (last reglazer included in price) The charge was $40 and he did not clean up afterwards. In the end the bathtub looks really nice and he did good work. read more

I recently had my bathtub reglazed and was extremely happy with the results! I was nervous at first how it would all turn out, but the whole experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Marco was professional, polite, on time, neat, reasonably priced, and most importantly does quality work. Everyone comments that the tub looks better than it did brand new. I highly recommend. Just want to echo what everyone else had said here. Top notch, safe service during Covid, our bathtub glazer showed up masked and on time. Professionally sealed off the bathroom and covered the floor to keep everything clean. He worked quickly and steadily the entire time. I reached out to a couple companies to reglaze the old bathtub in my new rental. Marco was the first to respond and gave me a reasonable quote. He was the only one to give me advice on matching the color to the original (a very specific taupe). He came by a few days later and 2.5 hours later my bathtub looked brand new. I'm so grateful to him and would definitely hire him again! read more

They were on time, gracious, and lovely to work with. The refinished tub looked amazing. They did such a neat job and cleanup was a breeze. I have multiple properties and will be using them again. Do not hesitate, you won't be sorry. read more

1st of all, best quote in town. Marco was gracious and accommodating. I made the mistake of scheduling him to come on a Saturday, which unbeknownst to me is against the building's rules. The doorman turned him away, and he was very understanding and rescheduled for the following Monday. He does great work, and he does it in a timely fashion. He gave me tips on how best to care for the tub moving forward. A+ for Diamond Reglazing! read more

I cannot say whether this company does a good job or not because they never showed up! They did not even have the decency to call me to let me know they were not coming. After waiting for a while I first texted to make sure everything was ok. After getting no response, I had to call them to find out that the guy coming to do the work wouldn't make it due to some car problems which he had earlier and didn't bother saying anything to the company. I rearranged my entire schedule to be here for this appointment. I understand things happen, but they should have offered to rectify it by offering an alternative date to come and maybe even a discount for the trouble. The owner said he was sorry this happened, but a sorry is all I got. Definitely choosing a different company for my work! read more

They work was so careless with my kitchen that I spent 4 hours cleaning enamel spray off of my stove, and my kitchen items. He propped up a sink tray against my silver radiator grill and sprayed the thing against my grill leaving a white figure shape on my silver grill. very messy sloppy work. I called Marcos to complain and he offered to come and clean it up but i was not allowed to do it over . My landlord is a nasty jerk. I would up not paying the entire amount due. read more

Diamond Reglazing's services are incredible! Excellent communication when inquiring and booking, and the job itself was beautiful. Marco went above and beyond, his work is stunning and very thorough. He is very professional, arriving PERFECTLY on time, and left my bathroom looking brand new. The improvement has changed my life and was worth every single penny! Can't say enough good things about the experience I had with Diamond Reglazing. I live in a co-op so getting them approved was a process but I worked with the owner and he was able to get me everything I needed that the management company and the board required quickly. If I didn't need the approval, they would've been available for the project in 1-2 days. The owner was also one of the quickest responses for quotes through Yelp. Price came under all of the other bids and I'm sure their work is better than the competitors as well based on pictures I've seen on Yelp. They neatly taped everything up and work was precise and quick. Keep up the great work! read more

We needed to reglaze our tub ASAP. They were accommodating and reasonably priced. It was done quickly. Less than 1 hour and cleaned up nicely. The next day I checked the tub and it looked like new. Quick response. Easy scheduling. Showed up on time. Finished everything without any fuss. Completed work within 3 hours. Waited 24 hours to use the tub. Had to apply some silicone caulking myself after 24 hours. Then ready to use. It wasn't a big deal. Happy with the work done. read more

Will there be dust, I asked. No, they said. Well, not only is there dust everywhere, it's very sticky and difficult to remove. I think maybe it's aerosolized paint? Then I removed the paper that was supposed to protect the surrounding area, which it didn't, after the specified time. When I peeled off the tape, the paint came with it! I sent Marco a picture of the damage, a proforma complaint because I expected it to go into a black hole of course. Anyway the only resolution I would have accepted would have been payment for a professional cleaner and painter, which costs several times more than what I paid him. Plus my neighbors are all mad at me about the fumes, which they also promised would be vented, but no it didn't work as promised. If you want more problems and expense than you started out with, go with this company. read more
