I've used Supreme Bath Refinishing twice so far -- once in 2016 and again this year (2023), and both times they've been excellent and rescued tubs that were in rough shape with rust stains. So I called this place today to see if they could patch some chips in my tub. The first thing the person told me was that the fix wouldn't match since I have an old tub (though it has a reglazed surface). I asked about this because the website says, "Damaged bathtub, shower, sink....etc? We can fix any chip, crack or scratch matching your bathtub color so no one will know that anything happened to it." I tried to dig in a little on this and the person just hung up on me. This company did an excellent job reglazing my bathtub! The smell is really strong (they say it is non toxic), however it dissipates after a few days. The service person arrive on time, kept a very neat work space, and payment was made via Zelle once the work was complete. They do request photos ahead of time for the free quote. Also, they require that you fix any leaks before they will do the work (this was lovely DIY adventure, that I'm very proud of myself for completely!). I now have a lovely bathroom refresh! Faucet leak repaired (had to switch out the cartridge), new shower head and drain cover installed (super easy), and after letting the glaze set for 24 hours, I put in new silicone caulk around all the fixtures and lining of the tub (not as easy to stay neat and keep straighten lines as it appears on YouTube!). Be prepared to do the minimal work of removing tape and paper the next day, and re-connecting drain cover and 'stopper valve'. Very happy with the results! read more

So I waited a full 6 months to leave this review. They reglazed my tub mid December 2020. We followed all of their instructions and advice and the tub still looks great. For those few people who have had a negative experience, I can bet they either didn't wait the full recommended drying time, used harsh cleaners OR used a bathmat. I had them do the anti-slip on mine, so there is no need for a bath mat, which i hate to clean anyway. :-) If you're considering reglazing your tub, go for it! The technician, Alex, did an amazing job with resurfacing the tub in my unit. Alex wore a mask as per COVID suggested protocols. He removed his shoes upon entering. He prepared the work area. To complete the task, allow three hours. Upon completion, the work area was clean - not even a speck of dust visible. I was given recommendations for future use of the tub and area: 1. Allow to cure for 24 hours; Do not use tub. 2. Do not open window until then. 3. Do not use any bleach or bleach products to clean. 4. If you plan on using a bath mat, use one without suction cups. Called and got an estimate from Frank immediately. Seemed in-line or a smidge cheaper than that of sone other companies I researched. HomeAdvisor had these guys at the top of their list and there were a lot of great Yelp and Google reviews so I took a chance. I had the tub and all of the wall tiles done. Frank's guy (sorry I didn't get his name!) showed up on time at 8am on the scheduled day and spent a few hours protecting the walls, floor and anything else that wasn't going to be glazed. He ran an exhaust pipe to the nearest window and prepped the tub and tile. This took about 5 hours. Then he glazed for the rest of the time. The fumes were quite strong. I kept my Covid-mask on the whole time he was working (he had a dust mask on during prep the and a proper respirator on during sanding/painting, etc.). The transformation was absolutely amazing. My decrepit, 70s style pink bathroom tiles were gone. (The guy also removed the old shower doors for me and put them by my trash.) The new finish was beautifully smooth and uniformly white. He sanded a portion of the tub floor down for grip and recaulked the base of the tub nicely. All said it took about 7 hours. The fumes afterward were pretty intense, I gotta say. I put a dehumidifier and fan in there and had both the apartment and building door open quite a bit over the course of 2 days, but my bathroom has zero ventilation. (My neighbors had just their tub done and they have a window in their bathroom so the fumes weren't bad at all for them). (Ps. I don't know if this actually worked, but the interwebs told me to put bowls of vinegar, baking soda and a cut onion out to help absorb/neutralize the odors. ‍) I'll post some before and after pics so you can see the transformation. Incidentally, I asked Frank if they did floors and he said they do but it might not be worth it because the heavier foot traffic might cause the finish to peel pretty quickly. He recommended vinyl tilling so I took his advice and you can see the new floor in the pics. Aftercare seems pretty important. They have a good warranty but if you don't properly care for the tub I'm not sure if the warranty protects you. A quick google search tells you to wipe it down after use, do NOT use caustic cleaners (no bleach or ammonia), polish it with auto wax after a few weeks, don't use anything with suction cups on it and don't keep shampoo bottles or soap sitting on the surface (use a shower rack and soap dish). I believe this info is also on their site but it's a little hard to find and I wouldn't necessarily have realized this if I wasn't a little OCD.:) (Frank if you are reading maybe it would be a good idea to call out the aftercare or send people a email with a link to it when the appt is made or after.) Bottom line--if you are looking to update your bathroom or just freshen up old, mildewy tiles and can't afford a full bathroom remodel, reglazing is a wonderful option and Supreme did a fabulous job for me!
