To their credit, they returned and attempted to clean the damage, but they were unable to remove the stains. They acknowledged that the damage was their responsibility and agreed to pay for the apartment to be repainted. Months later, despite repeated follow-up, we have still not been compensated. It's incredibly disappointing that a company would admit fault, promise to make things right, and then fail to follow through. Accidents happen, and I understand that. What matters is how a company responds. Unfortunately, Guardian's customer service after the damage occurred has been far more frustrating than the original mistake. I cannot recommend a company that does not stand behind its commitments.

From the beginning when they called him, they found the person who answered the phone courteous and helpful. Rob came out to their place for a free estimate, and completed the service within the expected costs. They said their experience with him was "off the charts," he was "assiduous, thorough and personable," that he went "above and beyond what you might expect." They were very happy with the price and the one-year guarantee. Based on their experience, Rob is a pest control expert "at the top of his game." They said "inside and out, he had it covered." So, they highly recommend him! I had a good experience with Rob too--I texted him to see if he would make the long trip from his home base to where my parents live, and he texted me back right away to say he works all over Rhode Island. To summarize, we are very happy with Rob. One caveat is that Rob treated my parents' house for mice. He put bait all around where they are inside, and closed up all the points of entry from the outside. He told my folks it would take about three weeks to stop hearing the mice. It's only been a week or so, so as of this writing the treatment hasn't taken full effect yet. I'll update it when there are no more little mice noises in the house, which my parents and I are confident will be as promised. Update: The mice are well away from my folks' place now, a month after my original review. I visited them a couple of weeks ago and there were no signs of continuing infestation. My dad took me around the house and showed me all the nooks and crannies in the foundation that Rob had inspected and identified where the mice were coming in. Painstaking work! Many thanks, Rob. As a result, my son and I had to undergo rabies vaccinations, leading to thousands of dollars in medical expenses and a very stressful experience. Now, after all of this, the company is claiming my warranty is void because I had a new roof installed and did not notify them immediately. I understand if this was their first visit and I had forgotten to tell them but this has been an ongoing issue and it feels like an excuse to avoid taking responsibility. (They don't have some giant pesticide tank attached to the truck to spray; just a portable hand held thing filled which he would spray here and there around the yard). Would have been nice to have a heads up, but he seems nice and walked around with a his pesticide spray. We haven't seen any ticks and no longer have any ants around so that's good. I know for sure that the company that we used with the initial visit was Fox; don't appreciate the response they sent questioning whether the first visit was with them - yes it was.
