Can not give this company a high enough rating!! We had a minor mouse problem on our home and Encon was recommended by a friend who had them deal with a large mouse problem at their home. I was not familiar with the company, but spent some time on the phone with one of the technicians, Rob, who gave me all the details about the services, plans & pricing on his off time! After speaking with Rob, I called the Encon office on a Wednesday and was able to schedule a visit for two days away on Friday. Rob came right on schedule and went through the entire house, checking for signs of mice, sealing up small openings that could be causing the problems and explained everything as he was doing it. Rob placed multiple bait stations in areas he suggested as an expert including some small spaces, behind appliances, the laundry room, basement, crawl space & garage. Even tho it was his first visit he did a quick spraying for bugs in the basement and walked the permittee of the house using steel wool and spray foam to seal up any open spots he saw that could be contributing to the problem. The plan I chose was the one year which was so reasonably priced I'm not sure how Encon makes any money. It includes today's visit, plus 2 more scheduled visits, PLUS as many other visits we need to deal with the mice and any other pests we encounter over the next here including pretty much ever bug imaginable (except bedbugs, mosquitos, ticks & termites which they do treat for additional fees). They've very good at what they do. Tried getting rid of carpenter ants myself but didn't work very well. Had encon come by to take a look. After one exterior treatment, all the ants were gone. They have a one year warranty and charged 225$. Reasonable price compared to other companies that were charging $300+. I would use them again. read more

Amazing service. Called 5 places in the RI area to remove what we thought was a yellow jacket nest. The best prices. The best service. And they were super quick to come out to take care of the active nest in our backyard. Turned out to be a bald-faces wasp nest. The lady I spoke with calmed me down. And I appreciated her responsiveness and explanation. Exterminator they sent out was super personable and was extremely friendly. Our son had a blast interacting with him. He wore his mask the whole time and listened to our concerns and explained what his approach was to removing the nest. I had Jerry from Encon out to my house today for a rodent problem. He was super friendly, and was patient with me discussing my rodent issue. I didn't feel like he rushed to get on to the next customer. I've read other pest companies can make people feel like they are want to get in and out quickly. Jerry spent a few hours at my house, thoroughly inspecting, and placing traps/bait. It's still too soon to say whether his interventions have worked, but I have faith they will. We have been having a mild mouse issue in our basement. We had a different service coming to treat it and it was not going well. I called Econ, explained our issues, and asked if they could help. Encon gets my highest review starting with my initial call through to the diagnosis. I called Encon when I was convinced I had bedbugs and Debbie was so reassuring and understanding when I really needed it. I did not know that I had a giant beehive in my basement because it was behind a curtain in the basement. You had to stand on a ladder just to reach the window, which I never did. It was only because my cats were chasing the bees around that I knew something was going on. I tried to contact several exterminators. Not one answered the phone. All I got was voicemail. One company I did reach wanted $200 upfront on my credit card BEFORE they would come!! I contacted Encon through Home Advisor. Rob, their serviceman, came to my home that very day. I've never had a workman in my home like Rob. He was professional, polite, friendly, reassuring and quickly killed the bees (they were not honeybees). The next day he came back and removed the hive.
