I had hired them and then saw some not-so-good reviews here on Yelp! Well, they showed up right on time. Got to work. Had to deal with a little hiccup due to the way my deck butted up against my pool, but they figured it out. You do need to get as much water out of the pool before they come. They tore out and cut up the old liner into manageable pieces and stacked them on the curb for the garbage man. Efficient. Almost done. They got here around 8:20, probably took 3-3.5 hours. We paid AAA a hefty sum to replace our oval pool liner. It was installed on cloudy 55-degree day. On their website it states that a liner should be installed on a sunny 80-degree day. Anyway, it was installed, and it ended up having wrinkles on the bottom as well as the sides. I pointed them out to the installers, and they assured me that those wrinkles would go away as the pool filled. I followed their instructions very closely. Slow fill to the first mark of masking tape the first day and left the shop vac going on the return inlet for almost 6 hours. Proceeded filling the next day to the 2nd mark of masking tape that they had left on the liner. I was told only to fill from 10-6p. The third day I got the pool filled and scheduled for them to come and cut the skimmer inlet. They came out and did that. The wrinkles never went away so I called to find a solution. I was instructed to drain the pool back down and they would "work" the wrinkles out. Well, they pushed all the wrinkles to the side of the pool and now that is what we are now stuck with. They gave us a $550 refund just to shut us up but never called back to address our concerns. Be aware that the top of your liner will look like crap with some plastic holders helping it to stay in place. I was told that's just the way the liner is made. I don't know if bad reviews made this company better or what, but I'm pleased as can be with AAA Liner. I saw the rough reviews and wasn't going to use them, but my neighbor just raved about how great they were. Their price was surprisingly reasonable ($1100 out the door for 24' round) and the liner they used had great reviews on quality and durability. The crew was led by the owner's son and the guys were amazingly polite. I really appreciated that they arrived on time at 7am and chose to lightly knock instead of ringing the doorbell. This allowed my kids to sleep in a little during their summer break. The crew had a good sense of humor, too. We chatted a bit while they worked, had a few laughs, and I was completely happy with the installation. The pool is filling now on July 1, 2019 and I will only update this review if something goes wrong during the fill or their follow up visit to check their installation. I typically don't write reviews and tend to think of myself as a pretty understanding person. That being said, I feel very disappointed and frustrated by the services I received (or didn't receive) from Triple AAA Liners. We opened our pool mid-May and discovered that our liner had been torn in several spots right above the waterline. We moved into our house about 5 years ago, and the pool came from the previous owner. I would estimate that our pool is about 10 years old, and I was informed by my father (who has owned a pool similar to ours for over 30 years) that this is typical. I started the process of calling around and was referred to Triple AAA Liners. My initial interactions were very pleasant. The woman I spoke with, Denise, was very informative and assured us that they would get back to us soon to schedule an appointment. We were told to empty the pool no longer than 24 hours to avoid damage. We were only asked how big the pool was and which liner we wanted. On the day the pool was to be installed, the crew leader, Israel, showed up for about 5 minutes and informed my husband that the pool liner could be replaced because "the pool wasn't level" and more work would need to be done. None of this was really explained in detail. He informed my husband that Erik, the pool liner specialist, would call us. I did not hear from him for most of the day, and I left a message to have him call back. When he did, he told us that the pool wasn't level and that 14 out of 17 posts needed replacement. This would cause the price to increase over double the original amount. Also, several other pool owners that I had spoken to said that the pool did not appear to be as damaged as they were claiming and felt they were price gouging us. We called several other places, but due to the pandemic, they were out of liners or their schedules were too full to accommodate us any time soon. This was concerning to me because our pool was still empty, and Erik had advised us not to fill it because the liner could be disintegrating on the bottom. Also, while cleaning the pool to ready it for replacement, it was damaged further. Thus began a long game of phone tag with Erik. On days where I work, I would call and leave a message with the call center to call my husband instead. Erik would always call me despite this. This want on for about a week until we finally were able to speak with him. I asked if we would be able to purchase the liner outright and was told that they didn't do that. When we asked about warranty, Erik replied rather flippantly that they only cover one season and any issues after that are "from having a pool in the Midwest." I agreed that we would have the work done and asked simply for a breakdown of the cost. I was told they would contact us 5 days before after there were 3 days without rain. Pretty much the entire week after that was sunny and we heard nothing. Then the last two days, we had terrible storms that completely destroyed the pool. So now a simple liner repair has cost us the entire pool. Even if we wanted to have a pool built right now, there is no availability until at least August. At best, I feel that there should have been more questions asked about the pool, pictures taken, or someone could have come to look at it before we drained it and left it vulnerable. At worst, I feel like they were being deceitful and price gouging us. I really wish that we had waited until August to replace the pool liner because then we might still have a pool. Not only am I disappointed in the outcome, but I'm disappointed in the rude and unprofessional tone from both Erik and Israel. I came up on the Dilemma of having to change my above ground pool liner and viewing a few YouTube videos I thought that I could do this on my own, No not a good idea. I was so happy I came across AAA liner replacement spoke with Denise the office rep. who was friendly and paitent as she walked me through every step of their installation process. Israel was my installer he came out with two other guys within the hour they were done. they cleaned the bottom of my pool added extra sand as needed. I can't say enough about these guys. STAY AWAY!!!! They installed a new liner in 2019 and did my pool closing. They didn't winterize my heater and the heat exchanger cracked. I cannot run the filter or pump. I called and they offered $300. That does not cover anything but the heat exchanger part. It's labor intensive and cheaper the replace the unit. Erik stated that it's all they can do. Seriously?? They didn't do their job when I hired them to close the pool. Now I have to pay? Stay away. They are crooks and dishonest. I should not have to pay due to their negligence. Was told by the lady who answered the phone that they are expensive ($1500) because they install quality liners by professionals. Well, they installed their quality liner in a completely rusted pool that we were completely unaware of because a liner covered the wall. So, in 2 weeks after installation, our pool collapsed with 4 kids inside. The pool literally ripped the aluminum wall and left sharp jagged metal where our kids could've been severely injured. I was told they were professionals and would stand by their liner and installers so I called furious. They sent someone else out who said this should not have been installed and he somewhat cleaned up the mess and told me managers would take care of this. Management called and told me "they would take care of this and wanted to do it quickly so nothing worse occurred". So, the 2nd installer came out, replaced the wall and liner but didn't have a new skimmer and would come back and replace it after we refilled the pool. Now at this moment, I spent $1500, plus water, plus loss of pool, plus I had a new lawn sod job done in the spring that cost me $3500 which was now ruined do to the flooding because of 20k gallons of water flooding my lawn. However, do to the fact I was told they were taking care of it, I was ok overall. So, I was waiting for the skimmer so i could reopen our pool, the installer had left a mess of cardboard, old screws, mud and rocks from the digging, mud and old pieces of pool walls laying down and again making my lawn a mess and time went on. After 3 weeks,I was told the skimmer was ready and they were coming to finish the pool. I said ok and it was scheduled for the morning which is when I'm at work. My significant other texted me that they were beginning finishing the pool and I figured it was finally over, BUT I WAS WRONG! I was called by the installer and told I needed to settle up. I asked, "settle up with what?" The installer said I need $2600....I said "what the hell are you talking about? I never agreed to that! Your management told me they'd take care of it" The installer told me "well, we have a problem!" And i said, "yes, we do! And a big one because I'm not paying $2600 on top of the $1500 because your guys screwed up!" Now, I'm worried because the installers are at my house with my girl all by herself so I tell her to lock the doors and be ready to call the police if anything gets weird. She saw that they left and I told her to lock up and lock the gate for the backyard. Within 15 minutes, a manager called, told me I owe $2600 and that I agreed to it, which i never did and called me a liar. Alot happened but i had a pool I could not use without a skimmer, ruined landscaping around the pool, a messed up new lawn, garbage all around the pool, old pool walls ruining my lawn because they didn't remove them and a company that screwed me. So, 2 weeks later, the owner called me and I explained my story and he agreed they did wrong but thought we could compromise. I agreed to $1200 if they finished the job well. He agreed and said it will be done perfectly because he's the owner. 2 new installers came and immediately asked for payment. Due to the fact I wanted this over, I paid the $1200 before completion and I made a huge mistake. Yes, they finished the skimmer but that was it. I left for work, they left the landscaping mess, all the cardboard which now had become sopping wet and buried under mud. They left all the sharp pool walls, the old liner and left them on another part of my lawn which ruined my lawn moreso. The pool walls were so heavy I needed help to move them and I was left with worry that this pool would be a problem. Well, the pool now is very low on water after the winter and I'll bet, I need another liner. Perhaps, I can spend more money on another set up by garbage professionals. read more

So update: after posting the review, they FINALLY called me back and came out. The guy came and said "There's rust at the bottom of your pool. We can't do the liner. We will call you with a quote." The whole day passed by, no call. I called the next day, no answer. I called the day after and demanded to speak with a manager, then Eric finally calls me back. I asked how much the work was going to be, he gives me some BS about how they have to dig up under my deck (the rust is nowhere near the deck,, its on the complete opposite side) and quoted me $2,700. I told him I'd call him back the next day to decide if we had the funds. I called him back tbe next day and left a message to let him know we had the money and wanted to set a date to get the work done. I called back 3 days in a row. HE FINALLY CALLED BACK. He said "Oh, I'll see if we can get done at the end of the week. I gotta call my guys and see how long they want to schedule the work for." I asked when I could expect a call back and he agreed before the end of the day. SURPRISE. NO CALL BACK. I called the next day, left a message. I called the next 2 days in a row, asked to speak with a supervisor both times. SURPRISE. NO CALL BACKS EITHER. Forget this place. Clearly an almost $3,000 job isn't enough for them. I bought a replacement liner and had it installed by them in 2014. Paid $1150 for a 24 ft. Round pool. They left lots of wrinkles in liner. After 4 years had a leak and had them come out and paid them to find and patch now this year had another leak over the winter and had non water left in pool when opened it! They told me when I purchased the liner from them it was the best liner! So called them this year in May 2022 for an estimate, it was $2550! OMG! Said no thanks wasn't in my budget! So from a friend I was recommended to call Mark from Century Pools. Answered the phone and said he can install the liner the following week for $500! Bought a 25 gauge liner from Great Escape for $568 out the door. When the guys were putting in my liner they told me this new liner was better than my old one, they said that one was a 24 gauge! I hired AAA to replace my old liner, they came out on 6/5/2020 and cut out my old liner, unbeknown to us we had water under the liner. Was told they would be back later to finish the install. Heard nothing back saw no one, called and left a message told someone would call me back, at 6:30 Eric called to say they were done for the day and they would return tomorrow 6/6. They returned Israel (very nice, honest) and his crew were done in 20 min tops. We're told to fill the pool to 2nd mark and call back for skimmer box and return install. Called on 6/8 to say pool was at the mark and ready for skimmer install. AAA came out on 6/11 to install skimmer and return, before they left we asked if we find leaks what do we do? They said call the store and will send someone out. Well my husband ran the hose through the skimmer and water came running down the bottom of the skimmer. The installers left screws and debris by the skimmer. I called AAA on 6/12 and spoke with Eric and he explained they were booked, but promised they would be out on 6/13 no time frames given just they will call when on the way. I'm still waiting for a call or someone to show up left two calls with the answering service one at 9am the last at 4pm...Eric personally just fixed my skimmer issue NO gasket was installed! My original liner began leaking upon closing last autumn. I had AAA replace it by mid November. The new liner began leaking but it was too cold out to replace. AAA replaced the new liner in the spring. A few days later, new liner #2 began leaking. AAA and I were both confused and frustrated. AAA replaced new liner #2 and found that the seams were opening. I wouldn't consider that a high grade liner if it happened twice. New liner #3 held out all summer. But after the three installations by AAA, I found the plastic pieces of the pool trim cracked and damaged. I don't believe the liner was installed 100% correctly either because I can see how water can get between it and the pool walls. When I closed the pool, I found the cover they gave me was way too big for my small pool. That last issue wouldnt have affected my rating at all, but everything adds up. The reason AAA gets three stars is that they had a decent price and were polite throughout everything. They replaced the first and second new liners without much hassle besides my time and taking some pictures for them. I did end up recommending them to someone else for those reasons and they had less troubles than I did. read more

The free pool cover thing, seems ok, I have to claim the voucher to get it, not a big deal there. and like most contractors they offer value added services like New Skimmers, Gaskets and other stuff, and like getting your oil changed it a little more than doing it or getting it yourself but you are paying for a service and convenience. Perfect, and in 10 years when I need a new liner I will happily call these guys again. Seriously take out, and put in of a new liner in 45Min, who can beat that. We had a liner replacement a year ago by AAA. This winter, it leaked, due to an ice breach and other issues. Dave,owner, sent his team out mid winter to check on it and secure pool on his own dime. I was amazed he responded mid winter. Most pool companies are closed. Today, 4/1 they were back to replace the liner and repair damage from a rough winter. They also found ice had pushed up side posts on pool and and probably ice breached the wall. Pool is 16 years old. They repaired it. Dave had his guys do some additional work as he realizes I am disabled. When you call, you are greated by a very kind young lady or Dave, the owner, himself. Very rare in this "automated" get lost in the shuffle world. His employees are kind, helpful, keep you updated while working and are very neat. AAA stands behind their work. The true test of a Company is how they resolve a problem. It was not there fault. We had such a harsh winter, yet Dave took ownership to the problem sending his guys out immediately mid winter. Then, we agreed on a plan and a very fair price. AAA could have easily said sorry full price, because of circumstances but I was honest and up front with Dave and he was very fair with me. I called Memorial Day weekend to have my new liner installed. AAA came out just this past Friday 6/5/20. They did the initial install and I was told to fill my pool to a certain level and call them when the water hit that level so they could come out to finish the job. My pool has been ready and at that water level since 6/6/20 Saturday. I've received 1 phone call from Eric saying he'd be out today Tuesday 6/9 to finish the job weather permitting. We are supposed to get storms around 2:30pm. I've called numerous times and nobody has called back. We are also going to get storms tomorrow on Wednesday 6/10. The job could've and should've been finished and done with on 6/6. Now the job is going to be delayed even longer because of the storms. Terrible customer service. I called to ask about any warranty on that liner, and to get an estimate for a replacement liner. I called them twice, each time being assured I would get a call back "shortly". 6 days later nobody has had the courtesy of finding the time to call me back. We called AAA after putting a hole in our liner at the end of this pool season. They were extremely accommodating and came out three times to complete this job (waiting for the sand to dry, fixing rust spots on the interior pool walls, etc.). We were offered a discount for it being the end of the year and they ended up being exactly as quoted - despite the additional work on the pool wall that was needed. We were also offered a free pool cover and ours was included in their final visit. I went to them after a friend recommended them, and I am VERY happy with the work they did. I would give this business a ZERO star rating if I could. We bought our liner from them 3 years ago and we have had nothing but problems since day one. The first liner had holes in it from day one. I had to fight them to come out and replace it a month after it was first installed. The part-owner Dave was, to-date, the worst customer service rep I have ever dealt with in my life. He was condescending, he was rude, he antagonized arguments. He talked down to me like I was a stupid woman who married him and hated him. It was the strangest thing ever. After the last few horrific pool liner installs over the years it was time to research a little deeper and find "THE RIGHT ONE". I started with google, BBB and Yelp for my research and came across AAA. I called and left a message and the next day I received a call back from a very friendly lady who answered all my questions, I explained to her my problems with the last few liner installs, leaking water etc and she assured me that they will fix all of it so I went ahead and made the Appt, fast forward a few weeks and the installers were at my house and ON TIME which is a huge plus. They shook my hand, told me their names and explained to me step by step as they were tearing out the old liner and whats to be expected with the new one, as they took the old one out the entire perimeter of the pool walls near the bottom had rust which the previous installers left and installed the liner directly over the rust causing holes in the liner days after it was installed, These guys sanded the rust down and treated it the best they could with a rubber spray, they then put a few bags of sand and built up the cove a good 6 inches over the rust so the liner doesnt come in contact with the rusty wall any longer, you can CLEARLY TELL these guys know what they are doing, I was very pleased. After a few days they came back to cut out the skimmer and return, i then filled the rest of the pool and have been swimming with the family since. THANKS DAVE and crew!!! Im nit just saying this to crap on this place but do not use. My mom had a pool with the original liner for ninteen years and decided to replace it only because it was fading. No leaking at all. She had this scam of a place replace it and after two years it developed a hole in the liner. Not only that but they said that part of her seventeen hundred dollar installation fee included them smoothing out the sand undernithe the liner which when she came home from work and saw that they started to fill the pool also noticed that they didnt even smooth out the sand. When i called this place to see what they would do to fix the liner their manager eric said it would cost a hundred bucks to have someone cone out and look at it. What does a patch cost.
