    This review is for the service department, not a store location. I called service to send someone…read moreb/c my hot tub was making noises there were not normal. I have had the hot tub for 3+ years. I knew there would be a $100 trip/travel fee and was told labor charges would apply if anything was done. The first thing the tech said to me was there was nothing wrong, nothing to fix. There was nothing extreme at that time, but it was obvious to me that something wasn't right. The tech then told me I messed up the chemicals most likely (my issue was w/sounds moving through the pipes in the hot tub and how the jets were working/blowing out water, not sure how chemicals would cause that and they were on point at the time the guy came (he didn't check so couldn't say otherwise). He stayed for another 20 minutes repeating that to me, to the point I had to ask him to leave b/c there was no point of him staying. I was shocked when I saw the invoice where he charged $30 labor. After i was told I would be notified and approve any labor before it took place ... and noting he did not do any labor, he told me it was all find, so how was there labor? When I called to complain I was told the $30 was for when he offered to clear the reminders that flash across the screen. Mind you that was not part of the original complaint, nor did I ask for it, or was I told this would be "labor". The manager at the service place didn't seem at all bothered about this scenario then offered a $30 gift card to make up for the labor charges. Great, but the fact that no one is concerned I got charged labor for "nothing is wrong" and just wants to send a gift card rather than address the issue is sad. ***Fast forward to 32 days later, my hot tub failed with flow issues and not heating (things that make the noises I called TGE out to look at and was told nothing was wrong). I call back, met with the same condescending manager who tells me since it was past the 30 days I would be charged another $100 trip fee. That close of a window, after the tech told me nothing was wrong and had to be asked to leave and charged labor services there should be a grace period when the hot tub fails. My HT broke within a few months of purchasing, but it was under warranty so no issues. So, I would definitely NOT recommend buying anything from TGE b/c once your warranty is up, they don't care and will make it extremely maddening/frustrating. I ended up calling another service to come out and fix it and that is who I will be going with. TGE has the lowest trip/travel fee, but that is probably b/c the labor charges start right after they get to your house even though they tell you nothing is wrong.. that is how they recoup the difference. They have 40 complaints in 3 years through the BBB and majority is surrounding the service department with the same complaints/stories I have. Beware.

We spoke with Todd first and he was honest and knowledgeable throughout our selection process. He was never pushy, and we appreciated his honesty about which features would be good choices for us and which we could do without. Our project started in late fall and the crew worked incredibly hard to get the bulk of the work done before the winter. Even though the crew was rushing to beat the weather, we were amazed at their precision and the attention to detail they showed. Tom, the owner of the company, was onsite the whole time working hard and attending to many details like making sure that that the pool was completely level! Erich has exceeded our expectations regarding the opening of the pool, training us to take care of the pool, and making sure that our first pool season is problem free. We opted to use the landscape company that Signature recommended, Countywide Landscape, and we are very glad that we chose a landscape company that works so well with Signature. We highly recommend Signature Pools for a company with integrity and high standards of excellence. By the way, we chose the Ultimate 40 pool and absolutely love it!

    My pool builder suggested this company to open/close my new pool. My initial experience with them…read morewas positive, but that changed this year. After my pool opening I had several concerns which I brought to the owner's attention. She responded to my email/concerns, however she took no responsibility for the issues, and instead seemed to be defending her crews and trying to point the finger at me - the customer. (see other reviews that also site this as an issue). I received no, "I'm so sorry you had to deal with this, and we'll definitely make it right". She did agree to send a crew back to straighten the handrail and drain handles they put on crooked, and then a suggestion that since I didn't seem satisfied with the services I received, perhaps I should find another pool company! She went so far as to give me referrals!? - seemingly implying that they were done with me as a customer. Over the course of the next week I was barraged with emailed invoices for the services - from 2 different NP staff people, and today a hard copy invoice arrived in the mail. This gives me a little more insight into the top priority for this company - profit, not customer service or satisfaction. It seems that that Naperville Pool only wants your business if you accept the service they give you and keep your concerns/complaints to yourself. Customers frequently have concerns or complaints about a service they received from a company, but when the company takes ownership over what they've done incorrectly or omitted, it tells the customer that they actually care about their customers, and are committed to both customer satisfaction and customer RETENTION. Thank you for the suggestions on alternate companies to take my business to Naperville Pools. The check is in the mail!!

    After using this company to find a leak in my swimming pool I found this company to be unreliable…read more They pressure tested my lines and blew them out. I was there when they pressure tested my lines and they used too much pressure. They were at best supposed to use only 10 Psi of pressure. They used 30 to 40. They won't take the blame for it nor will they come back to fix it. I called them a bunch of assholes.Now they won't fix it.left me with a 6500 dollar bill that I'm gonna have to scramble for. WARNONG DONT USE THIS COMPANY.YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO. THEY WONT ADMIT WHEN THEY ARE WRONG AND THEY DONT ADMIT THEIR MISTAKES. PERFECT COMPANY TO WORK FOR QHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING????? BOSS WILL ALWAYS STICK UP FOR YOU WHEN YOU DO THINGS WRONG
