My low rating is not a reflection of his work, but rather the lack of transparency in the pricing and communication I experienced. My concern began when two gaskets were replaced without my authorization or even a notification. I was informed only after the job was completed, and then charged $175 for the two gaskets, which can be purchased online for about $5 each. When I reached out to Robert, the owner, his response was that he once paid $875 for a headlight that cost $27 wholesale, an example that didn't address the issue and only reinforced my concern about unreasonable markups. Surprising customers with undisclosed parts and charges does not feel like good business. Before the appointment, we had agreed that since I already had the part they initially diagnosed as the problem, I would only be charged their hourly rate. What wasn't disclosed upfront was that the rate is $100 per hour. I was prepared to pay that once I learned it, but when I received a $375 bill for roughly two hours of work, I requested a breakdown. Only then did I learn about the added $175 for the two unapproved gaskets. The situation left me feeling like this was a bait‑and‑switch, especially since they were unable to charge me for the part I already provided. What makes this especially disappointing is that my first experience with this company about seven years ago was outstanding. At that time, Robert went above and beyond during the middle of winter, and I've recommended this company to others based on that great service. Unfortunately, something has changed, and this recent experience fell far short of the transparency and fairness I expected. My hope is that this review helps future customers who value clear communication and upfront pricing.

Yesterday they blame the customer for turning on the pump after they claims to have they did not complete the opening: Laura blamed the customer for turning on the pump after her (new) guys left with no update, so like every year we assumed it was completed. Today she is saying it the opening was complete. And threaten to let her partners know not to service us. Petty. ABC just didn't want to own up to damaging our system.

Last year they came out to fix my auto cover pulleys and sliders, they worked for 7 months. They…read morehad to come out back in November, because they were not sliding correctly and was uneven. I'm assuming this caused a ton strain on them and that is why they broke. They did not do a good job and plastic sliders were sticking out and I told them that and they said it was fine. $1,200 a year later the pulleys snapped. I called them to ask if they could do they could do anything they offered 10% off which is a joke. I called 5 other companies and got quotes 500-800. Aqua is over priced and does not stand by their work. I don't mind paying extra if the job is done right, but not making good on the job is why I won't ever use them again.
