The insurance department here has been extremely helpful. I was helped by Omar Kazmi who took the time to listen to everything I had to say, and made me feel like I was in great hands. He told me exactly what I needed to do, and recommended things that I had not yet thought of. The untold secret of AAA. This was not my first visit to the AAA Framingham location. Having raised two boys I found myself unable to renew my drivers license online due to the fact that one of my sons did not pay a parking ticket to the town of Brookline dating back to 2009. As it turned out the ticket and fine were paid in 2011 but never recorded with the RMV. Having received a letter from the town of Brookline releasing the case I still had to go to the RMV to renew. I went on line to see how long the wait would be in Milford and discovered that I could renew at the AAA in Framingham. I was amazed to find this out, as I have a gold membership I walked in filled out a short form, had a picture taken and was out in 10 minuets. My license arrived in the mail a week later. The fact that I could do all this in Framingham, no lines, friendly staff, saved at least three hours, what more can one ask for. read more

I love that you have to be a AAA member to do RMV transactions, while others wait in line at the state run RMV I'm in and out of the AAA in 5 min. The staff is polite and helpful as well(unlike most RMV offices). That alone is worth my yearly membership. read more

AAA is so much easier than going to the Registry, and you can do your basic stuff there. I have also been there for vacation info, and they are super-helpful and kind. You do have to wait in line a bit, but it's nothing like the RMV, and it smells way better! read more

I needed an international driver's license for my trip to Chile. I learned that since I have a higher rated membership card that I am entitled to free photos every year. My experience renewing my registration at the AAA in Framingham was as bad as, if not worse than, a typical day at the RMV. While the people there were pleasant, about 7 or 8 of us were waiting to finish our RMV transactions because there was some sort of computer error - perhaps an error in the connection between AAA and the RMV? The whole thing took about 45-50 minutes from start to finish, when, in reality, it normally should take about 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon when only 1 or 2 people come in every 15 minutes. At least I finally got my sticker and proof of registration, but, honestly, if I'd known it would have taken the better part of an hour, I would have just gone to the RMV's site online and hoped I got the sticker and registration in the mail. read more

Just awful customer service. These people act so angry that you called and just want to argue and deny service at all costs. This is unacceptable for a pay service like AAA. Thank God you can use their website cause their customer service people are the worst. read more

I went to AAA branch in Framingham to get Global card and Euro for my son's trip. They were very helpful and super friendly. The lady at the counter explained everything to us and made sure that I get the best deal. I have used this office few times and everytime they have prove me how wonderful they are. I've been a member of AAA for many years and have always had a very good experience with the staff in Framingham. They are friendly and willing to help out. I stopped by recently on a Saturday to get travel information and there was no line! The woman helped me out and I was quickly on my way. The membership is definitely worth it. Went to renew my license. Could not renew online; picture was too old. One person in line with loads of questions. AAA rep was very patient with her. I completed renewal form online with RMV, printed and brought with me. Had my picture retaken, eyes examined and out in less than 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. When the line for the registry was growing longer, another employee stepped up to help out, even directed me as to where I could find an ATM machine when I did not have enough cash to pay for the renewal of registration. I needed to renew my license with a new picture and found the Framingham location very convenient. When i arrived, there were 3 people in line ahead of me with one woman doing the registry tranactions. The line moved very slowly. One customer was at the window for 20 mins and it was over 40 mins before I was at the window. Being elderly, in my 60's, it was very difficult to stand for that long a period of time with no place to sit. There was only 1 small chair which was used by another elderly person. They need to provide at least 4 chairs or a long bench. read more

Renewing my driver's license was way easier than at RMV used to be., and more convent.

If I could give them a zero I would. We went to AAA to plan a trip to Europe. The Agent had actually been there, we thought that would work in our favor. NOPE. After paying 3/4 of the money, we found out the hotels she booked were not near our destinations and that our main destination didn't have any accommodations at all because she cancelled them without having a replacement (and there are no others available at this time). We went thru two levels of managers to try to salvage the trip. Ended up cancelling as no one cared to help. AAA is now charging a $2k cancellation fee. I spoke to customer relations who listened attentively to my side, but then suggested I just lodge a complaint through my credit card company. read more

I needed to get a new copy of my driver's license. There was only one person in line ahead of me so my wait time was minimal. There were some interns being trained and although they tried to help, they did not yet know the ropes. But they were very kind. The woman in charge worked quickly and thoroughly and helped the interns while helping the clients. Since no one was in line behind me, we were able to chat some as the process was being worked. Her ability to connect with clients and efficiently work the process was amazing. I didn't realize that you could get forms notarized at AAA- how convenient (and free). We also got passport pictures done. My husband also recently renewed his driver's license there. Even if we don't use the road service, the discounts and in-office services are more than worth the price of membership. read more
