Went into the Framingham Branch to renew driver's license. Process went very quickly and painlessly. AAA person assisting me was very pleasant. No waiting--but I did show up within an half hour of their opening on a weekday:-)But still, a much better experience than going to a RMV. When you consider all the perks and discounts, I always tell people that AAA provides far greater value over a lot of other affinity type groups or associations read more

The insurance department here has been extremely helpful. I was helped by Omar Kazmi who took the time to listen to everything I had to say, and made me feel like I was in great hands. He told me exactly what I needed to do, and recommended things that I had not yet thought of. Overall it was a great experience particularly because of his expertise, professionalism, and knowledge. read more

The untold secret of AAA. This was not my first visit to the AAA Framingham location. Having raised two boys I found myself unable to renew my drivers license online due to the fact that one of my sons did not pay a parking ticket to the town of Brookline dating back to 2009. As it turned out the ticket and fine were paid in 2011 but never recorded with the RMV. Having received a letter from the town of Brookline releasing the case I still had to go to the RMV to renew. I went on line to see how long the wait would be in Milford and discovered that I could renew at the AAA in Framingham. I was amazed to find this out, as I have a gold membership I walked in filled out a short form, had a picture taken and was out in 10 minuets. My license arrived in the mail a week later. The fact that I could do all this in Framingham, no lines, friendly staff, saved at least three hours, what more can one ask for. read more

Something unprecedented in the history of all time happened to me at this AAA branch. I actually has a very pleasant experience renewing my driver's license. That's right, it was a pleasure. Pat, the AAA RMV associate was very good with the customers ahead of me, patient, efficient and friendly. Honestly I had dreaded having to go and was in and out in 15 minutes. And I left smiling. Thank you Pat! read more

Joined AAA so I could use their registry service and avoid the RMV - big mistake. Needed to move registration from summer car to winter car so I went to AAA this morning early to be the 1st in line. Got there 10 minutes before they open. Some old hag was out front smoking (turned out to be an AAA employee), tossed her cigarette butt on the sidewalk, then went in past me - I asked if I could wait in the lobby since it was cold out. "No - we are still opening the joint" she coughed as she locked the door behind her. When they finally opened, I went to the registry desk and they said they can't swap plates between cars. I told them they have done it before, but they couldn't figure out how to do it. So I went over to the customer service desk to cancel my AAA membership. Get this - they were going to charge me $10 to cancel! On what planet is that normal? I asked her if she was even listening to herself! Crazy! Totally irrelevant organization! My mistake for joining. Frankly, the people at AAA are even more incompetent than the Mass RMV employees - I din't even think that was possible! read more

I love that you have to be a AAA member to do RMV transactions, while others wait in line at the state run RMV I'm in and out of the AAA in 5 min. The staff is polite and helpful as well(unlike most RMV offices). That alone is worth my yearly membership. read more

Moving across country is stressful and Omar made it a smooth transition for me. I have been a triple AAA member for 6 years now and have always had such great customer service but his services went above and beyond. He took me step by step with the process of changing my renters insurance for my apartment, my car insurance and membership services. I am now proud to say I am now officially a NorthEast AAA member and will be continuing to use Omar's service for any AAA needs. read more

AAA is so much easier than going to the Registry, and you can do your basic stuff there. I have also been there for vacation info, and they are super-helpful and kind. You do have to wait in line a bit, but it's nothing like the RMV, and it smells way better! read more

Quite possibly the best place for a license renewal - unless you really want to kill more time. In and out in ten or less, baby!

I'm very glad that I have AAA, especially ever since the Framingham registry closed. Dropped in Friday to renew my license. It took less than 10 minutes and saved me a drive to the Milford registry. Amazing time saver!! read more

I came here to renew my license over lunch one day. So much quicker than the regular RMV! No headache. No rude staff. Everyone was nice, the service was prompt, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. read more

Getting my license renewed at the AAA - what a pleasure!!! It beats go to the RMV any day. Thanks for great service.

My experience renewing my registration at the AAA in Framingham was as bad as, if not worse than, a typical day at the RMV. While the people there were pleasant, about 7 or 8 of us were waiting to finish our RMV transactions because there was some sort of computer error - perhaps an error in the connection between AAA and the RMV? The whole thing took about 45-50 minutes from start to finish, when, in reality, it normally should take about 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon when only 1 or 2 people come in every 15 minutes. At least I finally got my sticker and proof of registration, but, honestly, if I'd known it would have taken the better part of an hour, I would have just gone to the RMV's site online and hoped I got the sticker and registration in the mail. read more

I needed an international driver's license for my trip to Chile. I learned that since I have a higher rated membership card that I am entitled to free photos every year. This was great news because I did need passport sized photos for the license. I was in and out of the Framingham AAA office in 20 minutes. Great service. And a free map of Chile on my way out! After experiencing a slow RMV computer and even slower response attempting to renew my auto license I gave up that route and went straight to Framingham AAA. Excellent service, excellent person handling the job. I have two trailers needing renewal this month and I'm going to start with AAA. read more

Used these guys to renew my drivers license... what a great experience, almost hesitate to tell anyone as I'd hate to see people lining up to get the services :) The process was easy - the people were extremely helpful and polite and it only took a short amount of time... I'd recommend this service to everyone read more

Just awful customer service. These people act so angry that you called and just want to argue and deny service at all costs. This is unacceptable for a pay service like AAA. Thank God you can use their website cause their customer service people are the worst. read more

Went to renew my license. Could not renew online; picture was too old. One person in line with loads of questions. AAA rep was very patient with her. I completed renewal form online with RMV, printed and brought with me. Had my picture retaken, eyes examined and out in less than 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. Much more pleasant experience than waiting at RMV. read more

Outstanding experience! Needed to renew my license and they serviced me quickly and efficiently. All with a smile too! Absolutely recommend this branch and their services! read more

I went there to get my license renewed and then bought some discounted movie tickets. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the location convenient. The rating went down due to the long wait. Although there weren't that many people ahead of me, one woman's transaction took so long, it just stopped everything for quite a while. I am a AAA member and would use this location again. read more

I've been a member of AAA for many years and have always had a very good experience with the staff in Framingham. They are friendly and willing to help out. I stopped by recently on a Saturday to get travel information and there was no line! The woman helped me out and I was quickly on my way. The membership is definitely worth it. We've used the roadside service twice this year and were so glad we had it. read more

Went in to get movie passes. The staff was friendly and helpful. Was able to save some money the next time I went to see a movie!

I feel like I've found the cheat code to the RMV. I just got my registration renewed here in less than 10 minutes, at noon on a Saturday. There was only one person ahead of me in line. A far better experience than waiting for hours at a regular RMV location. read more

Nice place and clean i Recommend Omar Kazmi he will do whatever it takes to make you Happy , he is the best .

Do you have to renew your drivers license? On a Saturday? The thought is terrifying! Unless you have a AAA membership!!!! I walked into the Framingham AAA, was pleased to find only two people in front of me (I was not given a number), and began the quick process of renewing my license in about 20 minutes! The staff were ready and eager to keep things moving, and very nice people in general. I am so thankful AAA has this service! Well done! read more

Renewing my driver's license was way easier than at RMV used to be., and more convent.

I am a new AAA member. I purchased my membership in the Oregon/Idaho region before moving to Framingham. I stopped in to the Framingham AAA to get some maps, transfer my membership, and get a passport photo. I didn't have to wait in a long line and was helped within 10 minutes. Pat helped me and she was efficient, friendly, and helpful. It was a very positive experience. read more

I thought the woman who handled my license renewal procedure was very personable and knowledgeable. I only waited about 10 minutes and the whole renewal process took less than 15 minutes. I also need to get my passport renewed and will definitely visit this office again for that. read more

I needed to get a new copy of my driver's license. There was only one person in line ahead of me so my wait time was minimal. There were some interns being trained and although they tried to help, they did not yet know the ropes. But they were very kind. The woman in charge worked quickly and thoroughly and helped the interns while helping the clients. Since no one was in line behind me, we were able to chat some as the process was being worked. Her ability to connect with clients and efficiently work the process was amazing. I had to have a new picture taken and I know she could have another career in photography - lots of fun for what I normally consider to be a torture process. read more

I didn't realize that you could get forms notarized at AAA- how convenient (and free). We also got passport pictures done. My husband also recently renewed his driver's license there. Even if we don't use the road service, the discounts and in-office services are more than worth the price of membership. read more

This is the 8th trip we've book through AAA and all have been amazing. The last 4 trips have been booked with Brian Massalski. He worked with us to personalize our trips to Ireland, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. He is very knowledgeable, has amazing insight and suggestions on places to see, dine and stay. Everything he's suggested resulted in a great experience. We had so much fun on the vacations we booked with him. We've just booked a family trip to Ireland and Scotland. As expected, Brian was there the guide us through customizing the perfect trip. He is our "Go To" person for all our domestic and international travels. Best travel agent around! read more

Top notch in courtesy and efficiency. When the line for the registry was growing longer, another employee stepped up to help out, even directed me as to where I could find an ATM machine when I did not have enough cash to pay for the renewal of registration. I have been to this AAA location many times over the last 7 years, it has never disappointed. read more

I needed to renew my license with a new picture and found the Framingham location very convenient. When i arrived, there were 3 people in line ahead of me with one woman doing the registry tranactions. The line moved very slowly. One customer was at the window for 20 mins and it was over 40 mins before I was at the window. Being elderly, in my 60's, it was very difficult to stand for that long a period of time with no place to sit. There was only 1 small chair which was used by another elderly person. They need to provide at least 4 chairs or a long bench. read more

The location is convenient and the service was fast and friendly. I needed a tour book for Illinois and a road map, and I had them I no time. The ability to stop by for guide books and maps as well as the other services ensures value for the price of membership. read more
