Her patience and calm demeanour not only helped me learn how to drive in California and pass the test, but also how to manage my anxiety in taking the test and on the road, so much so that I almost regret passing cause now our driving lessons are in the past. I took about 6-8 lessons over 4-6 months and used their vehicle for the driving test. I would recommend taking 2-4 lessons and then consulting with your driving instructor about how many more you may need, as it depends on each person. Book lessons far in advance cause they're popular! And space out as needed to afford them financially, and if possible, practice with a personal vehicle in between lessons.

I had a very important DMV appointment, and their office somehow failed to log it altogether -- even though they had no problem taking my payment right away. When I called to confirm the appointment, I was told there was no record of it. Instead of owning up to their mistake, Kenya gave me attitude and offered nothing useful except to "reschedule." The issue was entirely on their end, yet she acted like she was doing me a favor. I asked to speak to Edward, the so-called manager, and of course, he couldn't be bothered to talk to me. He had his secretary handle it instead -- who clearly had no authority and offered a bunch of useless, unacceptable suggestions that didn't help at all. I eventually had to resolve the situation myself -- something they should have handled from the start. Luckily, there happened to be another driver at the DMV at the time, or I would've been completely out of luck. This entire operation is unprofessional from top to bottom. They lack communication, accountability, and basic customer service skills. Kenya was rude, Edward hid behind his staff, and nobody took responsibility for their own mistake. If your appointment actually matters, do NOT trust this business. They will take your money, mess up your schedule, and then blame you for their incompetence. Our experience has been wonderful with Grace's Driving School. Our daughter just passed her driving…read moretest and we are certain that it is because of her instructor Mariam! Mariam was extremely patient and knowledgeable and helped our daughter feel confident behind the wheel. Scheduling was easy to do and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend purchasing the DMV package as well (where in our case Grace picked our daughter up for the DMV test) and they drove for an hour prior to the test for practice. She then helped facilitate the whole process at the DMV. It was such a seamless experience and all I needed to do was wait at home for the good news! It was very helpful for our daughter to drive in the car she practiced in the most to take her DMV test versus our SUV which she wasn't as familiar and comfortable with. Since my rescheduled appointment was two weeks after my original test, I had asked them for a discounted 2-hr brush up lesson.
