We had an amazing experience with Angel as my daughter's driving instructor! From day one, he was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging. His positive energy made every lesson enjoyable and helped build my daughter's confidence behind the wheel. Thanks to Angel's excellent instruction and guidance, my daughter passed her driving test on her very first attempt! He took the time to explain everything clearly, provided constructive feedback, and genuinely cared about her success. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. If you're looking for someone who is professional, supportive, and truly invested in helping new drivers succeed, I highly recommend Angel. Thank you for helping make this milestone such a positive experience! read more

My son recently had the privilege of learning with Angel, and I couldn't be more grateful for the experience. Angel is incredibly energetic, animated, and clearly passionate about what he does. He brings such enthusiasm to each lesson that it makes driving not only educational but as my son described it, genuinely fun. As a parent, I feel confident that my son is ready for his driving test thanks to Angel's guidance. My son shared that he felt completely comfortable behind the wheel, and that Angel kept the lessons engaging by talking, encouraging, and staying fully involved throughout. He said driving with Angel never felt stressful--it was enjoyable, and he actually looked forward to each session. Angel helped my teen feel at ease while still instilling the skills and confidence he needs to succeed. He also kept us informed and updated every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a better instructor, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a driving teacher who truly loves what he does and inspires his students. read more

Pacific Driving School - Driver Instructor Angel is the best! - Driving Schools Near Me - Bell Gardens, California

I recently got a ticket and needed to attend traffic school to avoid a point on my license. I went in person to make sure I understood everything correctly. Alex helped me out, and he was professional, helpful, and extremely patient throughout the process. I initially signed up for an in-class session, but as I was leaving, I realized doing it online would be faster since the class wasn't for another two weeks. I walked back in, and Alex didn't hesitate at all and he quickly switched everything over with no issue. Alex has a great attitude and provides excellent customer service, which is rare these days. He truly deserves recognition (and a raise!). Thanks again, Alex! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our driving instructor, Angel! From the very first lesson, Angel brought an incredible amount of patience, guidance, and genuine enthusiasm that instantly put my teen son at ease behind the wheel. Learning to drive can be nerve-racking, but Angel's calm, supportive style made every session feel productive and positive. Angel has a natural ability to explain things clearly and thoroughly, never rushing, and always encouraging questions. What impressed me most was how consistently Angel celebrated progress--big or small--which gave my teen so much confidence heading into the DMV exam. The encouragement and steady reassurance throughout the process made all the difference. Thanks to Angel's expertise and uplifting attitude, my teen not only became a better, safer driver but acquired tools for success. We are incredibly grateful and absolutely recommend Angel to anyone looking for an instructor who is patient, dedicated, and genuinely invested in their students' success! read more

Did a 9 hour course package plus driving test and it was worth the money and time. It was also my first time taking the behind the wheel test and passed! The only thing I will say is if you don't have any experience driving don't do courses here, you definitely need at least a little bit of experience. Other than that my driving instructor was great! She was very patient with me. Thanks Yamel. read more

This school has the best instructors and best customer service! Everyone working there is pleasant, friendly and supportive of what fits your needs. Always willing to help. My son had the best experience with Angel one of the instructors. He was very specific with his answers when my son had any questions and extremely knowledgeable and supportive of his learning. I definitely recommend this school for your child. read more

I don't suggest signing up for these programs if you are a beginner driver. Im not sure why one would need an advanced driving school anyway but I was told that the program is for more advanced drivers. I do not feel like I got my moneys worth whatsoever. They didn't even teach me how to park. My driver was also quite impatient with me. Responding to Zoraya: I use a different name and I am based in Huntington park! My driver was Alex Diaz and I did the training the first week of June. Mr. Diaz told me that I should've had more practice before signing up and because I was such a beginner that he was unable to teach me everything. Maybe you all should retrain your instructors! I paid for 5 hours plus the test and Mr. Diaz called my mother saying i was not ready for the test, which is fine but this was truly a waste of money!! read more

Came to them when I wanted to get my license. My instructor was Alex and let me just say it was the best investment I've ever made!!! He made me way more confident as a driver (I'm a very anxious person) and help me with things I needed help with. They do the paperwork and such with the dmv so you have the least stress and anxiety as possible. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting to get their license or even wanting to brush up on their driving skills! read more

Do not come here to rent a car for your test the service and price was so awful. I'm writing this review years later because of how bad my experience was. First of all the price back then was 300$ probably more now. You get, practice for an hour and a car rental and only ONE TRY. And if you can't make it they charge you a 40$ reschedule fee. Second, the service: My INSTRUCTOR was in the bathroom for 20 minutes of the time I was supposed to be practicing. In practicality I only got about 25 minutes of actual practice. Anyways, I parked my car up front in THEIR parking and they told me to move it. (Again during my practice time) We get into the car, and I've never driven a newer Prius so the car controls were new to me and the instructor did NOT do a good job of explaining the controls even after I asked. He had a very thick accent and when I would ask him to repeat himself he would get loud, rude, and angry. The practice itself was rushed, and he was on his phone taking calls and texting half the time. As well as playing music for himself on the car speakers which was distracting. Every time I made a mistake he would explain very angrily and raise his voice. We take the test I pass, he didn't even give me a ride back. TLDR: In conclusion the instructor was mean, loud, and hard to understand. It's was expensive, it didn't prepare me well or respected the time I had to practice, and they didn't even give me a ride back from the dmv. DO NOT COME HERE SAVE YOURSELF THE ANGER AND MONEY! read more

I just finished my classes here and my driving instructor was Yamel. I loved Yamel! She was so motivating and never once yelled at me. I was obviously nervous since I've never driven on the street before, but she taught me all I needed to know. I'm a lot more confident in driving all thanks to Yamel. read more

I passed my driver's test (behind-the-wheel) on my first take in Southern California (City of Bell Gardens)! YOHOOOOO! I would like to express my deep gratitude to ALEX DIAZ!!!! I completed a total of 10 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons with him. For someone like me who is quite stubborn and has always been apprehensive about driving, I can confidently say that Alex played such a huge role in my success! First, he is an incredibly thorough and skilled (technical and safety skills) instructor. He would really teach you what you need to know in order to be a safe driver. Theoretically (written), I would say I am an A student. However, the behind-the-wheel aspect was quite petrifying and challenging for me. Alex patiently broke down the basics for me and ensured that I really understood what he was teaching me. His goal was for to build a solid foundation each session. He would immediately correct me when he started seeing me do anything wrong or unsafe. In fact, he would ask me to repeat some routes and maneuvers several times until I get them 100%. Repetition was definitely one of his strategies to ensure I did not keep committing the same mistakes. More importantly, he made sure I understood the rationale why something was wrong/unsafe. Alex emphasized several times that every student driver should establish safe driving habits early in their driving journey. Alex would always verbalize: "Scan, scan, scan. Anticipate, anticipate, anticipate. Always be a safe driver." He is 100% correct on that. At the end of the day, the goal of enrolling in a driving school is NOT only to pass the exam BUT to be a safe driver on the road whether that is scanning, checking rear mirror/side mirrors/blind spots, obeying traffic lights, turning left/right, reversing, parking, or looking out for pedestrian. Second, Alex knew that my anxiety towards driving was real and that it was negatively affecting my desire and ability to drive on the road. With that said, he has creatively changed his teaching style to meet me at my level. He would play soft instrumental music to help me stay calm when driving. I learn better and faster when I am calm. Who does not, right? He would also generously give me positive affirmations here and there for things I demonstrated correctly. My confidence level when it came to driving was 0/10 until I met Alex. My confidence level went up and up after each 2-hour driving session with Alex. In fact, I got to the point when I would be excited to drive, even on days Alex and I would not meet. He encouraged me to practice, practice, and practice. Alex showed me that I am capable of humbly admitting my weaknesses as well as proactively turning those weaknesses into strengths. He taught me to trust in myself and in what I know, which helped me tremendously. One remarkable trait of Alex is the fact that he knows how to listen and he fosters a culture of "open communication," which helped the both of us. I was honest when I felt anxious or frustrated, which he saw not as a flaw but as an opportunity for me to learn and alter my mindset/master my emotions. He did not hesitate to ask questions or mention his observations so we can always be both on the same page. I would have not done it without his guidance and encouragement! If you are learning how to drive (regardless of how old you are), look nowhere else! Schedule sessions with ALEX DIAZ! He is amazing, honest, skilled, and passionate about driving! He will meet you at whatever level you are in. I assure you that! He will journey with you to success! It is never too late to learn to drive! read more

This school is great they are really determined to help the student pass their driving exam. Most importantly I like the fact that they give you positive vibes whenever you are driving. I recommend this place for whoever is trying to pass their driving test. Alex was my driving instructor and I think he was awesome and very helpful! I really appreciate his guidance and positivity throughout my lesson. If I could give 10 stars I would! You Alex are awesome. Thank you so very much. May God bless you! Pacific Driving School - Just 3 errors but I passed 5/9/19 Thanks to Alex my driving instructor!! - Driving Schools Near Me - Bell Gardens, California

I found Pacific Driving School through Yelp. My son just received his driver's permit in January and we signed up for the 6 hour driving class. The price offered by Pacific Driving School was good for the sessions. I liked that they split the payments into 3 manageable payments and not a lump sum. It was fairly easy to schedule the driving appointments. My son had two sessions so far and he said the instructor was good and gave him good pointers. The only negative is that the parking lot the school is located in gets very crowded on Saturdays. Overall I would recommend. read more

I PASSED on my first time, all thanks to my instructor Alex Diaz! If you it wasn't for him I honestly don't think I would've passed. Alex was mostly my instructor, very assertive at first, but as the lessons went on it was comfortable to be around him. They will make you pay before they have you drive so prepare for a payment! I honestly recommend to have one instructor from beginning to end. I passed on my first try, but sad Alex didn't take me to my test. He waived from a afar showed him thumbs up that I passed. Again, thanks Alex! read more
