My son is a late bloomer, driving at 17-ish (heavy on the -ish, he was a near grown @ss adult), but with the help of Beach Driving School, he passed on his first attempt. TRUSTWORTHY. As a parent, even though my son was 17, I had to trust the person going out with my child. My son was picked up from home as scheduled. Tom was good at giving feedback on his progress. Even though it just might be the instructor taking taking bigger risk with my son behind the wheel... my son enjoyed going driving and by the last session, felt confident in his ability to drive independently. RELIABLE. My son told kept me abreast on when his lessons were and when time came for the driving test, he was provided with a maintained, reliable vehicle to use to pass the behind-the-wheel test. I didn't buy my son a new car, so I needed to make sure that he was comfortable in the car he was driving and that it was in working order and qualified as a vehicle that could be used for his test. PRICING. Beach is affordable, and I paid half upfront and half upon completion. I looked around and that appears to be customary at smaller driving schools. My niece used AAA and paid twice as much for the same outcome. If the end result is the same, why not go with the economical choice? Now my youngest son is ready for driving lessons, and I'm here searching for the number for Beach Driving School. Here we go again! I would recommend Beach for drivers at any age needing some driving instruction or behind-the-wheel experience.

I got a ticket (whatever) and I looked at a *lot* of reviews of traffic schools before trying this one. I finished in less than an hour. TONS of valuable information, but the tests were easy enough. They take care of everything. The hardest part was finding my "case #" (which is not the number on the yellow slip). For that I had to go to the Santa Cruz Superior Court website and search around. Also, you will need your "traffic school due date." That is really a guess. On the date you "officially request traffic school" (that part should be on the traffic court website) add (around?) 90 days. Well, that's what I did. Anyway, great company. And they have a phone number if you get stuck. I didn't need to call it. And for the police: Yes, I feel educated and am now a safer driver.

Her customer service was unprofessional, and her attitude toward parents was disappointing. She stated that parents are responsible for teaching their children how to drive. While I understand that parents should help their teens practice, that's exactly why we pay a driving school--to provide professional instruction, teach safe driving techniques, and reinforce good habits. If parents were expected to do all the teaching, there would be little reason to pay for professional driving lessons. Because of Jose's outstanding instruction, I would have rated this experience much higher. However, Michelle's poor customer service significantly affected my overall impression of the company.

I reached out to Wally's EZ street driving school and he assigned me Ban My as my instructor who I believe is a champ when it comes to a driving instructor. He is calm, patient, punctual and makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I would say he goes out of his way to help the student. Wally is very cooperative too, he was very flexible in terms of scheduling my BTW sessions and made sure that I was doing good during my learning phase. I booked this company for a 2 hour brush up for my behind the wheel test next tuesday…read more I have already have some driving experience on and off but wanted some tips on stuff I may not know or read from the DMV pamphlet. Today we drove around the DMV I will be taking the test on during rush hour. PROS: - Homer was right on time - He gave lots of useful tips/ rules that I overlooked/ did not know - He asked about my goals and we practiced around the DMV. He knew the exact route CONS: - Some parts of the car weren't working. The back camera and the button that adjusted the side view mirrors (not a big deal, I just did it manually) - When I was driving around where the test will be, he got really impatient. He was frustrated and made snappy comments and would say things under his breath when I missed what he said or when I did not get what he said the first time. Apparently I was too cautious. I was overwhelmed during rush hour and all he was telling me while driving that at one point he kind of aggressively said "you should know this- maybe you shouldn't take the test but take another lesson with me". That is why I booked the lesson for stuff I may have missed! He repeated it several times. I did not say anything and then asked if i had someone i can practice with/ car and I said yes. After, he after did say that practicing with anyone will be good. At the end he said that my driving wasn't bad and that I could pass the test. Not sure where the attitude came from then. Good touch up driving school with useful tips, but if you want a more chill and less stressful lesson/s I may consider another option.
