I also did the DMV brush-up with him and passed my behind-the-wheel test with only 1 error! Highly recommend him for anyone wanting to pass! I give him 5/5 stars and the company 4/5 stars. The company owner, Wally, is great however I had to reschedule my DMV behind-the-wheel test due to the company booking me for the wrong day despite double checking with them if it was confirmed. Since my rescheduled appointment was two weeks after my original test, I had asked them for a discounted 2-hr brush up lesson. They offered me a lesson at the price of $100 instead of the usual $160.

I truly appreciate the time and effort he put into helping my son build confidence and improve his driving skills. Unfortunately, my experience with Michelle was the complete opposite. Her customer service was unprofessional, and her attitude toward parents was disappointing. She stated that parents are responsible for teaching their children how to drive. While I understand that parents should help their teens practice, that's exactly why we pay a driving school--to provide professional instruction, teach safe driving techniques, and reinforce good habits. If parents were expected to do all the teaching, there would be little reason to pay for professional driving lessons. Because of Jose's outstanding instruction, I would have rated this experience much higher. However, Michelle's poor customer service significantly affected my overall impression of the company.

That should indicate the positivity the community felt about Beach Driving School's driving instructions. I hired Tom for my son who has since has his license for nearly 3 years. My son is a late bloomer, driving at 17-ish (heavy on the -ish, he was a near grown @ss adult), but with the help of Beach Driving School, he passed on his first attempt. TRUSTWORTHY. As a parent, even though my son was 17, I had to trust the person going out with my child. My son was picked up from home as scheduled. Tom was good at giving feedback on his progress. Even though it just might be the instructor taking taking bigger risk with my son behind the wheel... my son enjoyed going driving and by the last session, felt confident in his ability to drive independently. RELIABLE. My son told kept me abreast on when his lessons were and when time came for the driving test, he was provided with a maintained, reliable vehicle to use to pass the behind-the-wheel test. I didn't buy my son a new car, so I needed to make sure that he was comfortable in the car he was driving and that it was in working order and qualified as a vehicle that could be used for his test. PRICING. Beach is affordable, and I paid half upfront and half upon completion. I looked around and that appears to be customary at smaller driving schools. My niece used AAA and paid twice as much for the same outcome. If the end result is the same, why not go with the economical choice? Now my youngest son is ready for driving lessons, and I'm here searching for the number for Beach Driving School. Here we go again! I would recommend Beach for drivers at any age needing some driving instruction or behind-the-wheel experience.

Had no idea I could retain so much information in such a short time frame before this class. Shoutout to Matt and Vince. This class is totally doable for anyone who is willing to work hard and put the time in! I'm a humanities major who had zero medical experience prior to this. I still passed everything first try, including the NREMT. I think a lot of the negative reviews here lack perspective. However stressful this class is, actually working the job is definitely more so, especially if you want to do 911. Here's some advice, though-- don't take the accelerated program if you need to work or attend school at the same time. Excuses are not accepted here. If you like dogs, there's a giant one named Bourbon. If you're allergic to dogs, either bring medicine or consider going elsewhere. Overall, highly recommend.

None of the course material Is made available to the students until the first day of class. On the first day of class, the owner/administrator/instructor made sarcastic comments towards my daughter about the color of her school supplies stating "Oh, you think you have enough pink?" Also, when she was unable to answer a question regarding the subject matter, he responded "Maybe if you didn't sit in that f*** a$$ corner in the back, you'd actually know the answer". This comment was made towards a person with no previous medical experience. My daughter suffers from anxiety related to bullying in high school. So to be intimidated and belittled by an instructor on her first day of post-secondary education is uncalled for and unprofessional. My daughter did not feel comfortable proceeding with the program under the instruction of this individual. Given that she attended that first day, she is ineligible to receive a refund for the $250 registration fee per their policies and course enrollment agreement. There are multiple Yelp reviews as to the inappropriate behavior and treatment inflicted by this individual along with statements about the loss of the registration fee. Aside from bullying, this feels akin to a scam. Students are harassed and embarrassed but are left at a financial loss. There is no oversight for this individual as that he is the owner/administrator. Students have no recourse and no support. This individual is left untethered to inflict his particular brand of harassment on the students. And because they attended even one day of class, he gets to keep their money.
