I had a very mixed experience with this driving school. Jose, the instructor, was excellent. He was patient, professional, and made my son feel comfortable behind the wheel. I truly appreciate the time and effort he put into helping my son build confidence and improve his driving skills. Unfortunately, my experience with Michelle was the complete opposite. Her customer service was unprofessional, and her attitude toward parents was disappointing. She stated that parents are responsible for teaching their children how to drive. While I understand that parents should help their teens practice, that's exactly why we pay a driving school--to provide professional instruction, teach safe driving techniques, and reinforce good habits. If parents were expected to do all the teaching, there would be little reason to pay for professional driving lessons. Because of Jose's outstanding instruction, I would have rated this experience much higher. However, Michelle's poor customer service significantly affected my overall impression of the company. read more

It is terrifying when thinking about letting your baby go off in a car with some random stranger so they can teach them how to drive. My daughter's instructor was professional, punctual and very patient. He was a seasoned driver and arrived in different cars each time so it was great that she got to drive in different types of vehicles. My daughter said her instructor made her feel comfortable and she passed her driving test at the DMV with only missing 2 points! read more

Scheduling was an issue for me. The company scheduled classes for me but fell through on one class, I reached out to see what might've happened and got no response. They say office is closed but they don't even have the courtesy to tell us they've canceled the classes. We need a refund read more

Prices are good compared to other local driving schools but customer service is lacking and I don't know if they have enough instructors. I've called the office 2 times and the person answering the phone always seems busy. I inquired about rescheduling my daughter's 1st driving lesson and they cancelled it and gave the appointment to someone else. Now the next weekend slot isn't for another month. I wish they wouldn't have given my time slot away without clear communication, like hey are you sure you want to reschedule because the next appointment isn't for another 4 weeks... Waste of time and policies change faster than clothes. They lie straight to your face to keep up appearances all while making you feel incompetent. Driving school was very important to me because along with becoming an adult, I was also going to be the first person in my family with a license and car if I worked hard enough. I applied for this driving school back in October 2024, with my social worker. My first lesson wasn't until March, not the best amount of time to wait but also not the worst. They scheduled my for 5 lessons, and the first two were cancelled. After calling in to reschedule those lessons, they said I would have to wait a whole month to do any of the other three lessons. They said I could not take the test because 3 lessons were too little. April approaches (keep this in mind for later) and the schedule me 3 lessons and a date for the test. This is the first time the policy changed. The again cancel the first lesson and gave the go ahead to do two lessons and the test. I do the first lesson with this man named Mr. Baker (Love him). He was a little bit more on the strict side, telling you what you should and shouldn't be doing. Making you repeat the route that you will be taking at the DMV of your choosing. I felt very confident with him. I went from not knowing the hand signals to being able to drive on the freeway after two hours. Couple days later to a week I had my second lesson with another instructor. It was more laid back; however, he taught me to drive like other experienced drivers. Suddenly I was driving closer to 70 in a 55mph zone because everyone around me was doing so. When I would try to stay at the legal speed, he would press the gas pedal on his side to match speed with everyone else. He would tell me when to turn last minute. Previously, Mr. Baker and I felt confident enough that I wouldn't have to take more than a couple lessons in order to pass the test. Now after this second instructor, I didn't even feel confident in my ability to turn corners, and he felt that as well. We decided to schedule more lessons, but the company only offered me one more but in May. The next month strolls around, and I take that last lesson. I felt pretty confident, so we drove over two bridges and freeways for about 40 minutes to get to the DMV. I found this odd, because there is a DMV about a 5-minute drive from my house, and the areas and terrain was different then the DMV I did take the test at. I failed the test. I was very upset because it felt like a huge chunk of time was wasted (8 months). I also was upset because I failed. Being behind that wheel for the first time since the last two lessons a month ago felt like I was driving for the first time again. Sure, I did feel confident towards the end of that last lesson and while we were sitting at the DMV, but the nerves began to creep in. I let my fears overcome me, even though I continued to drive like the second instructor taught me. I drove to fast in residential areas, turned to hard on corners, and when I tried to maintain a consistent speed, the muscle memory wasn't there, it never was. The test ended because I turned instead of waiting at an unprotected turn light. I can admit that it was my fault, I knew all of the info I should have performed during that test. I can admit that I messed up during that turn. I also should have stayed confident in my ability to drive, but I let the nerves overtake me. However, when you are not shown correctly HOW to drive, especially how to for a test, the only question I can think of is "how was I gaining muscles memory from this" I put in the work, and even asked for longer, consistent and even extra hours to practice, so I took noticed that it wasn't fully myself responsible to failing the driving test. I texted the manger or supervisor (whoever does the scheduling) and said I failed the test. Previously I was told that their policy is "I can take as many lessons as I need until my first driving test" I reached out asking about that policy shortly after I failed. I was then told that "that wasn't the policy, through foster care I can take one more lesson and one more test for free because of foster care." After being frustrated from hearing the policy was changed, I stated "I would like another lesson, but I don't understand how 3 lessons is supposed to be enough?" Pretty much their response was about how they understand how it felt insufficient, but that's what foster care is currently covering," and I think that's fair, "We help a lot of foster youth and that's what they usual get," again I think that's fair. It made me furious however to receive a follow up text about "85% of them pass on their first try." I called the lady who was in charge of scheduling, and she started lying to my face over the phone. I told her that if the driving courses are so far apart that it'll be hard to learn. Yelp won't let me write more, so the rest is in a reply read more

They could improve by not canceling already scheduled and paid for driving lesson appointments and keep better track of the dates and times they set appointments. They could also improve their attitude towards cancellations when they were the ones who canceled and did not show up to scheduled driving lessons! Get a better system to keep track of appointments and also purchase better cars to take students on their driving lessons. One last thing, be able to take constructive feedback from customers without getting offended. I have not harassed anyone! I'm just simply giving my review which is my right! In addition, the ONLY refund I asked for was for the day freeway easy traffic school DID NOT SHOW UP. Not for the day after which the company preceded to cancel as well. He had instructed my older brother before me and he got his the first time as well! My son needed to learn how to drive from someone other then me, so I found this place through Yelp and I want to give Ron 110% because he was always punctual and very patient with the way he taught my son. It only took 3 classes for my son to get the hang of driving. I was very impressed with the company in the way that they set up the appointments and scheduled my son for the actually dmv drivers test. Ron took my son to the test and waited till he was done to bring him back home. The girls in the office are very helpful and nice, never had a problem. 10/10 would recommend this company to any future drivers. Ron was quick to adapt instructions to suit my needs as I previously drove on the left side of the road. Every aspect of driving from parking to freeway driving was covered. Can't say enough about this company. When I signed up twins for behind the wheel classes, they gave me a multiple kid discount. My kids loved both instructors and felt like they learned a lot. While at the DMV, they would not accept the way the certificate was filled out and their office angel Dalonna ran a new certificate down to DMV so that we wouldn't lose our behind the wheel drivers test appointment! Not even kidding when I say she provided the best customer service I've received in my life. Jose helped out too. Getting the appointment that day was critical because their permits would be expiring before they had another appointment available. Dalonna and Jose - you two are the A TEAM!!! I still couldn't believe I actually drove in a freeway that added the much need confidence to finally pass my driving exam last May 24th. It's a good experience to take a driving school because it will give you different point of view and techniques compared to when you just learn driving with your parents or relatives. I did traffic school on a Saturday. I was pleased that I could bring my drinks and snacks with me, and the mask was optional. The location looked sketchy, There was broken glass as you entered the mini-shopping center's driveway, a homeless person behind the building and the common areas are dated (spotted carpet stains, ill kept bathrooms and no water fountains). As I found the traffic school on the 2nd floor, my fears were soothed as soon as I walked into Ms Diaz's Traffic School. The seating was "stadium style seating" with your own personal work station of: note pad, pencils, highlighter and DMV handbook/reading material. Bathroom breaks and lunch are timed to the second, and your attention span is a must. The day flew by, when instruction was mixed up with: reading, videos, classroom discussion and lecture. It's a great formula, to help you learn from the California Driver's Handbook and retain the information. I would have given this place 5 stars, but, it's mostly on the feeling of security surrounding the building. I would recommend. read more

Great experience. My son really liked his instructor and they were great about scheduling. He passed on the first try.

I used them for both of my kids. Both passed on first try. Took them to a variety of areas and on freeway. Scheduling was great and they worked around my kid's packed schedule. Would have given 5 stars, but there was miss communication on the time for the last appointment. Company Emailed me confirmation for 4:20pm they were late, when I called on Sunday, they answered and the lady said it was actually for 5:40pm and apologized for the error, at 5:50 pm my son got a text saying 6:40pm. It was the last 2 hour session 2 days before test so it was stressful worrying if the instructor, Ron would be there. He showed and it went well, he took son in area where he was going to test. Staff was great we have used both instructors, Jose and Ron. read more

I highly recommend Freeway Easy Traffic School! Even though the class is 8 hours long, it definitely didn't seem that long at all. And if you don't want to stay in the class you can do a take home "Home Study" for an extra $5. (The class alone is $45) but everyone in the class chose to stay. But like I said, time flew by and the class was very informative and the test at the end was super easy! read more

I recommend this company. My daughter started her 6 hours behind the wheel training with them with very minimal driving experience. Jose was her instructor and he was so kind and made her feel extremely comfortable and confident. I was a little nervous when he arrived and asked to see his credentials. He kindly showed me his drivers license, provided his cell phone number as well as his proof of empThe first day alone they went all over and practiced so many things. Highly recommend Jose, very patient and detailed when explaining how to go about getting the motions down. He like to touch the wheel to correct you so try not to let that bother you. I did not like my instructors. One was rude, and even grabbed my arm in an empty parking lot when there was no danger around just because he wanted me to turn the wheel to his liking. He also made mean comments to me. I called to complain about him after I switched to a different driving school and realized how much better the other school instructor was at helping me and being nice.... also he did not touch me as this school did. read more

It was easy to get the traffic school materials. When you do traffic school with a correspondence course you must call Freeway Easy Traffic and Driving and discuss your answers to the review questions before you take the final exam. The questions that I missed were discussed with me in a nice and respectful manner. Then when I submitted the final exam they got back to me almost immediately after I e mailed the exam to them. I missed two questions which meant I passed with a grade of 92% and again the questions that I missed were discussed with me in a nice and respectful manner. I must admit the course was not, " a walk in the park". I had to work hard to pass the review questions and final exam but I learned I a lot. I believe my experience with the traffic school will make me a better driver and I believe and hope that I will not get another citation. read more
