I got a ticket at No right turn on RED Normandie & 186th st. I would recommend my friends to come here to learn something new for traffic rules so we can be safe drivers too. The Instructor is very professional and good. This is not comedy class and he takes is very serious about teaching. I sent my sons for driving tests too. One Saturday of 8 hours are much better than getting a traffic accident. read more

No small talk and nonsense driving school. Highly recommended. Both of my teen daughters completed their 6 hour lessons through Bob's without issue and at a reasonable price. Beginner lessons are three - 2 hour lessons (required total of 6 hours). The last two hour lesson includes freeway and local dmv test routes. read more

Bob driving is wonderful to get driving lessons from! They provide pick up and drop off service as well as clear instructions. Highly recommend! read more

DO NOT GET DRIVING LESSONS FROM HERE! A driver nearly t-boned my husband getting off the freeway in their company car! When my husband called to inform the business of the extremely dangerour situation, the owner yelled at him calling my husband a bad man and said that his near demise never happened. Thankfully no student was present. I would never send my child here if that's how they teach people how to drive! If I could give a zero, I would! read more

He thought me so much about turning and the rules of the road. I would recommend him to any new learners. The prices are amazing!

The experience was super good with him! If you need to pass your first time then you definitely need to go here. He's very straightforward and strict at times, but he's determined to make you pass. I was very nervous the first time but he'll always go over what you need to improve on. Thank you so much for helping me pass my first time! read more

I had a great experience. The instructor was really friendly . I learned quickly and had no problem passing the exam. I would highly recommend them . read more

I don't want to select one single star for the rating. He doesn't deserves any! His instructor was a No Show! When I finally got in contact with them, the instructor said, " I had a car accident ". Bob had no idea that his instructor did not show up nor did he know that his instructor had a car accident! Terrible service! Bob tried explaining that his instructor had a car accident in their own personal vehicle, as if that would make things better! Lmao! Bye Bob!!! read more

Really rude and disrespectful driving instructor to my daughter first time behind the wheel, hard to understand the instructor per my daughter experience. Have to call and cancelled the rest of the driving lesson schedules after the initial 2 hours lesson, with the unapologetic manner from the instructor when we call tell him about our daughter experience with him and rude in his response to the paying customer.... If you look for a good instructor for your teen driving lesson this is not a right place. Never see our daughter that distraught and upset before. If there a 0 star we would give it. read more

Absolutely the most shady instructor I have ever come across. Anupam Biswas (main instructor) is careless and an unprofessional who does not even submit the correct information on the certificate to the traffic court/DMV and only acts stubborn when he's faced with questions he has no answers for. Once again, Bob's Driving and Traffic School doesn't deserve a single star but it's Yelp's policy to do so. It's mostly all due to Anupam Biswas's poor professionalism and disregard for customer service. Now I'm stuck facing a difficult situation with trying to remove a point off my record since the DMV still hasn't received any certificate after every back and forth trip I've made from Bobs Driving & Traffic to the DMV and back. I'm currently setting up a court date to see what can be done legally since this type of irresponsible business conduct isn't something I should be having to deal with. Once again, I have the certificate in hand and since calling Sacramento (DMV headquarter) hasn't helped with my solution (although they've assisted me with a step by step process only for it to fall through due to Anupam Biswas's poor professionalism), I'm doing only what's necessary for my driving record at this point. Please avoid this place at all cost! read more

Great teacher!! Always right in time. Beat driving school for young adults!! Thank you Bob!!

My husband registered my son to this school. When it was time for my son to go get his drivers licenses I had my son called him to set up the appointment. They discussed the price my son verified with me I said ok. The day of my sons appointment he said the man is not coming. I got his number. I call Bob to figure out what happened. He said that my son never called to confirm about the price. I told him that day when he was on the phone with him that I told my son that the price was ok and to go ahead and book it. Bob said he called my son cell quit a few times to confirm. I checked my bill and low and behold as I speculated he never called. His stories were not adding up. I booked him a second time and the same day of my sons test he called my son saying that he have another student and that he will not be making it. Bob is such a lier how can you do this to a child. He didn't even gave my son some othe dates that he was going to be available, he had no intention on taking my son. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I can give a middle finger I would give him him one. read more

i tried two different driving schools, but i didn't pass the driving exam at the DMV. Bob is strict but he gives a very good driving advices, believe me after passing the driving test you will appreciate the way he teaches because you will know that it is what it takes to earn a driving license read more

Bob is not someone you go to with soft feelings, he's a tough teacher. As a result he helped my brother and I pass and secure our license. He provides and efficient service for the price and value. Thanks bob. read more

It's boring, very boring but it was the best place to take traffic school. Just make sure you ask for proof of competition to show that you have completed the course. That's if you need to see a judge after. The receipt isn't proof read more

I was in the Smart and Final parking lot this morning and saw a teen driver in a Bob's Driving School car. I heard the trainer yelling at the driver saying turn right. Turn right. What's wrong with your brain? I was shocked at how a new driver was being treated. I would be upset if I spent money on this lesson. There's nothing wrong with a new driver's brain. It's called inexperience. If you the teacher can't gauge where the new driver's level of experience is, then that is where the problem is. Your frustration was evident. If the student isn't ready for that lesson, kindly stop the lesson, kindly ask him to switch seats, and change to a more basic lesson. I'm sure that is a difficult job, but I was surprised to hear that response. read more

This School doesn't deserve even a single star. Let alone the star that Yelp forces you to give. Poor Customer Service, Shady Business Tactics, and an over all MESS trying to schedule anything. The people are SO WEIRD, RUDE and unprofessional. read more

My instructor was bob he was very strict he is friendly but very strict he takes driving very seriously. I called driving schools all over southbay and his prices were like the cheapest so I went with him. The driving lesson was 2 hours long he took me all over Torrance since I live in Torrance. And he took me thru the DMV driving test course so I have to say it was worth it and he gave me a few tips that helped passed my behind the wheel test and my everyday driving. read more

I would recommend this school for getting driver's training. This one is cheap as compared to other schools and the instructor here is excellent. I used to drive in my country alot and was nervous driving here with so many rules. Thank you Tom in building confidence within short period of time in driving here and getting clear my dmv drive test. You rock! read more

Passed my behind the wheel test in one go because of this school!! My instructor was very knowledgeable of all driving laws and was very patient teaching me. He knows the area very well and also so you some tips for passing the test at the local DMVs. He wants you to pass the first time and gives you the confidence to do so! I would 10/10 recommended this school if your serious about passing on your first go! read more

Don't believe everything this guy tells you. That is if you can understand him; clearly he needs speech therapy. "instructor Anupam Biswas" loafs there for the money. When I called he told me $35; when I walked in it was $38 to seat bored and watch him ramble. He informed us we could get our bail back if we went back to the Traffic Dept. at the Court House and ask for Community Service after Traffic School Completion. So we went back paid the $7 to park, waited in line an hour or more to find out Bis-Was doesn't know what he's talking about!! Did he lie to get a thumbs up on the stupid survey as he looked at each one being handed in -would he have sent the completed document electronically if he was rated less than one star.... I would not trust this guy. He calls me to confirm an appointment and has the wrong date and time. During our conversation he continues to say the wrong dates and times. On top of that he has a total attitude. I cancelled immediately. If u read this and still use him good luck! This guy doesn't understand customer service. read more

I made an appointment with Bob from Bob's driving school for the DMV behind the wheel test a week before the test. I called him a day before the test and he told me that he will come at 1pm at the given address. Our appointment is 1:30pm The day of the test we were wating for him. Around 12:55pm I called him and asked if he was nearby. He answered me in an irritated voice that he forgot all about it. And he won't come. I said WHAT??? I was so upset telling him , why would you do this to your customer? He did not even care! Terrible customer service! BEWARE!!! Everyone don't do business with this driving school. You will regret it as I did! read more

I had a wonderful experience here. The teacher is knowledgeable and doesn't wasn't your time with inanimate lectures. We were able to get through the material fairly quickly. The instructor does not best around the bush. Prices are cheap. I recommend this place for anyone in the area! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This Bob guy was very very disrespectful with my sister who is taking her first behind the wheel lesson. He expected her to already know how to operate a car and did not give her any type of guidance or instruction. At one point she was not sure what move to make at the stop light because there were cars coming from all directions and he asked her if she was trying to get him in an accident or if she was "fooling" with him. Anytime he tried to correct her, he would not use his words, he would SLAP her hand. Even yelled at her multiple times and got upset at her. After three times of telling him not to put his hands on her, she finally cut the lesson short and told him she was going home. Even after then, he still slapped her hand to "correct" her instead of telling her no or stop. Would not recommend this place. Very very poor customer service and should be shut down. read more

wonderful instructer. I'm middle aged trying to get my license and I did because of a very proffesional and patient instructer
