Jay was recommended to me by someone I know, and I am so happy to have learned driving with him! I did the 6 hour package (3 driving sessions that are 2hrs each), and I could tell even after just one session, that it helped me overcome my fear of driving and build confidence as well as a safe driver. The first session felt like dipping my toes in the water to get used to driving on major streets. The next two sessions focused more on honing the skills I already have. Jay explained things well and clearly, and was patient when I needed clarifications. Overall, I feel ready to get on the road and continue applying what I learned! read more

We found them on Yelp and were impressed with the many positive reviews. We called and set up an appointment for our son. Their instructor Jae arrived on time and provided exceptional driving instruction and advice for the 2 sessions, with the first being 2 hours and the next being 4 hours. We did have the option of 3 sessions being 2 hours each. We paid for all 6 hours of training ahead of time to guarantee our appointment slots. Jae signed off on the driving permit after each session. Our son passed his driving test the first time! I would definitely refer any family and friends who are looking for a driving school for their teenage children. read more

When we were looking for driving lessons for our son, we heard many positive feedback from our friends who used ABC Driving School. Our son did three 2 hours lessons with Jay Kim. Our son said Jay was very nice and patient, also he said Jay gave him helpful advice and tips. After the first lesson, our son displayed more confidence while driving and was more comfortable driving and being on the road. During the last lesson on a weekend day, Jay took our son to the DMV and had him practice on a test route that is one of the DMV driving test course. During our son's driving test, he was tested on that same driving route that Jay practiced with him on. Our son passed and received his drivers license on his first try with only one minor mistake. We would highly recommend anyone who is looking for driving instructions and lessons to go to ABC Driving School. We are grateful for Jay's help and expertise. Thank you Jay! read more

Sent my daughter here after hearing good things about the school. Jay was her instructor and was very patient with her. She said he was very calm which kept her from panicking (like she usually does when we go out to practice driving). After completing her set of lessons, off she went for her drivers test. To my surprise she passed ... on the first try! I definitely recommend sending your kids here. Thank you Jay and ABC Driving School! read more

ABC was a great choice for our family. Jay provided my twin girls with a high level of confidence behind the wheel. His approach was calm, which allowed them to feel comfortable during this potentially stressful process of learning to drive. I am very please with the results by going with ABC. read more

I had never needed to drive and have had sporadic experience over the past two years, and since my job relocated, it forced me to get a car and to finally learn how to drive. I had Jay as my instructor and he was very patient and kind. He reminded me to just relax and take it step by step, something other people failed to do, which helped me get better considerably. I passed on my second try (first try was a bust due to nerves) and reached a level of independence I never thought possible. Thank you so very much to Jay and ABC Driving School. Couldn't have done it without you. read more

ABC Driving School - Passed like a champ. Thanks, ABC Driving School! - Driving Schools Near Me - Buena Park, California

I would highly recommend Jay as a driving instructor! He's very professional, flexible with his schedule, and patient with the student. My son learned great tips from him and felt confident for his driving test. He successfully passed the first time! Thank you Jay! read more

I didn't feel comfortable or well-prepared to take the driving test after my lessons with one of their instructors. I think I had an hour each week over six weeks of training instead of a couple per day over three days. They teach you to count at stops but its hard to be an observant behind-the-wheel student when the teacher wants to have conversations about her art or the supermarket where we have to stop so she can get something to eat. When I braked immediately after making left hand turns, she never said anything, even when the driver behind me honked. They're very flexible with schedules so I've driven sleep-deprived after dawn which was the final straw that made me quit. read more

Fantastic Driving School! I was an adult student at this school, with hardly any driving experience. I mostly had anxieties on the road that discouraged me to learn how to drive and Jay helped me get over those anxieties. Jay is a friendly but serious instructor, that'll help you achieve as low marks as possible on the test. He is very alert, if you try to get away with not looking over your shoulder, not stopping firmly, or turning on your blinker (im guilty of these), he'll notice it immediately. He knows exactly what the instructors are looking for in the test and that'll help boost your confidence in your driving education. You won't be disappointed! read more

I just took 12 hours of driving lessons at abc driving school and it totally worth the money. To be honest, driving lessons here are so much cheaper than other places out there but the instructor still teach you a lot and he makes sure you will pass your driving test. This was a horrible driving school. My daughter did the 6 hour lessons and still didn't know very much about driving. Her instructor-Jay- was not very patient with her and would often yell at her. To the point where she had a mental breakdown inside the car. Bottom line is that I would not recommend this driving school. read more

It was kind of funny. They show you some old school videos on driving etiquette and do's and don'ts and my instructor [john] was really helpful in guiding my training at least semi-naturally. The funny part was when he came to my house the first time he asked me if I knew how to drive - I said sort of so he told me to get in and drive. I'm like.. uhh. aren't you supposed to teach me??? They do cater to the asian population and they are very flexible with the hours. They will even come to your school if it's nearby. read more
