We used the school for my son and the first time our was great. The next time the instructor showed up an hour late and told us we would have an extra 1 at a later date. For the 3rd lesson i called to cancel and the instructor showed up anyways and my son wasn't there. I explained to him that I didn't think my son was ready to drive and we had some personal stuff going on. He said no problem to give the school a call when we were ready. Quite a few months later we called the school and the owner told us that we had received all six hours. He said one of his instructors was no longer there so he couldn't verify my story And that my son had already taken all six hours as to his records. After a lot of convincing he scheduled my son for two hours. Unfortunately the day Of appointment my son got sick. When I called to let them know the owner laughed at me. We rescheduled Craig the instructor was amazing! I would love to use them again for my daughter that needs to start drivers training but the owner was rude. Dealing with the owner was a bad experience and will not use them or refer anyone to them. Craig if you work for another company i would love to hire you. read more

Their website sucks. It's not user friendly and it does not allow you to cancel appointments online. You must call the office for assistance, but the office is only open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Now I have to wait until Monday to make changes. I'll update my rating if this is resolved with phenomenal customer service. Update: I got a call back same day - Sunday! I had to change my rating from 2 to 5 stars because the lady that called me was obviously on her day off, but took the time to call to help me with my online issues and solve my problem. AMAZING DRIVING SCHOOL! Bring your child here for sure. I ordered two 2 hr lessons with Christian and Curtis. The website worked perfectly well for me! My first lesson was with Christian, he was super informative and nice, he didn't care if you made mistakes because it was how you improved and it was good practice, such as parking on the curb. He was a great teacher. Only thing I would say is that the owner should listen to the needs of the cars, our lesson was a little delayed because of a flat tire he had told the owner about. My second lesson was with Curtis. He took me around the Torrance area and told me all about the rules and automatic fails for the drivers test. He said I was in between passing and failing and that I should try anyways, well I tried today and passed!! Really is an amazing driving school, bring your child here!! read more

After both driving sessions, Bob provided detailed feedback and was on time for each session. Bob also provided additional education on other services that are offered. Driving portion of this business is unorganized! Will not use these guys again! I have 5 kids so they are losing out! I called a month ahead to schedule my sons second lesson and they gave me the wrong appointment time!??? I think they booked someone else in my time and moved mine!!! I have tried many times to get the nerve to go to a drive test and backed out. But after working Renee everything was different , I had my test passed in the first attempt. It not just driving she helped me understand the right manuver and why it is done and what happens if it is not done. A kind, non-judgemental, humorous instructor who gave me instructions that just helped me ace the test at the first attempt. The west minister dmv is where i had the test and passed. Thanks Renee. We couldn't get scheduled for the behind-the-wheel training, and when we did schedule it no one would show up. When I finally got hold of someone in the office (not easy) Paul said that they had moved and no longer serviced my city! He said he would refund me the money, even though it was against their policy... but I'm still waiting for the refund. read more

First off i've been looking for a good driving school in orange county for awhile now (most offering to teach you how to drive but never included taking you to DMV) and i would come across a few reviews that was good but not great. I then seen this school online and seen there prices WHICH IS NOT BAD btw i got the $355 6hrs Driver Training Plus DMV driving test, which is a plus for someone whos not driving. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and the people i've met so far have been very professional and informative. Instructors? well, there are a few ..... mines was RENEE TRICKER, each time i set a appointment it was for her. She was always on time, always in a good mood and made sure she told you what DMV expects from you. Making a appointment was never a hassle all i had to do was call the school up (can even make it online) and to top it all off i would recieve a call the day before from Renee to varify the appointment everything was a breeze. I know your thinking OK, so did you pass? answer is YES passed my DMV behind the wheel test -first time taking it. My personal opinion: the benefit of them including DMV in there drivers training course package is pure genuis. I didn't have to make my dad or mom miss work to take me to DMV, OR hear them complain about being up there to long lol EVERYBODY WINS!!! -SUMMARY- Instructor: RENEE TRICKER Package purchased: 6Hrs Driver training+ DMV (but keep in mind it's a special thats going on right now, its usually $430.00) DMV Behind the wheel pass date: 1/31/2014 and to whomever is interested in this school, you'll learn alot, but pay attention and you'll do fine. The instructing was good so she passed on the first try. They even took her to the DMV for her test so I didn't have to miss work. Got my lessons here and passed my test without a problem. The instructor taught me everything I need to know. I was really nervous about driving in the beginning, but the instructor helped me calm down and get comfortable. Jackie was really nice and accommodating. I called and easily made an appointment. One star because I had to to leave review! Called spoke with Jackie asked to speak to manager several times she refused after arguing with me and hung up on me!! Really? I called back once again she argued put me on hold after 10 min I hung up! Is this how u want to be treated?? Really too bad she felt it necessary to speak to a customer who had already paid!! I also had a horrible experience with one of their instructors (Mr. P.P.) when my usual instructor was unavailable. Starting from the rep that attended my call to the instructor, I have to say they were excellent and professional. The instructor was right on time knocking on our door. At first I was uneasy about letting my kid drive off with a complete stranger, therefore I told the instructor I was coming along. Renee made our first driving training experience very comfortable. Renee was honest about the improvements my daughter needed to make and how she was going to help her accomplish them. Renee followed a lesson plan that covered steering control, break stop, left/ right turns, light traffic, traffic lane change and so much more. The following two days I let my daughter go alone with Renee. My kid was happy. Renee met the two hour sessions and had room to be very thorough. I recommend A-Team Driving school. read more

We picked this driving school because it DIDN'T have any bad reviews. The sign up was easy, and the on-line portion of the driving school went well. The certificate was sent promptly. My son got his permit at the DMV with no problems. The breakdown came when it came to the actual driving portion. The times were filled 2 weeks in advance, so we had to wait a while for an appointment. When it was finally the day for my son to start driving, the instructor called us 2 hours before my son's driving appointment and canceled! I called the emergency number provided on the website, but there was NO substitute instructor available, and now my son has to wait ANOTHER WEEK to get a driving lesson. And of course there is no guarantee this won't happen again! ARRGH! No offer by the owner to refund our money or give us a break in any way due to their screw-up. Unprofessional in every way, and how ridiculous that there was not a backup instructor available. Not sure if we will finish with this outfit, as I have my doubts they can actually get an instructor to be where they are supposed to be, when they are supposed to be there. I may have to find another driving school, pay for it myself, and lose the $265 that my son paid these jerks... Rip-Off. read more
