I did not get to use his service but his customer service over the phone was not pleasant and will never make to call this business again. I was somewhat desperate for a locksmith because I locked a door knob from inside the house and shut the door behind me, forgetting the keys inside. He was my 6-7th call to a locksmith because everyone else was busy or closed, and I was kept being referred. I do have to say I was almost at the edge of tears. After he gave me the quote, I made a mistake telling him that I'm desperate and I have already called so many places, so I'll take it. We were already down to details that he is going to come right away and then he said, only in cash tho. My answer was I don't have cash. He still insisted that he will come only if I pay cash. I told him, I will find another locksmith. Mind you that before he quoted me, he knew my location and second, his yelp says that he accepts credit cards. To be perfectly clear, I would have not had no issue if he would have quoted me one price for cash and if I pay with credit card it would be little more. For my luck, next locksmith I called that was even further away with solid 5 stars, quoted me actually less and he accepted my credit card. read more

If you are looking for an honest, reliable locksmith, Jerry is your man. We had an issue with a faulty Honda Civic key and starter (apparently it is a known issue) and Jerry came to us in a manner of an hour or two to re-cut us a new key which solved the issue. A few months later we had a similar issue and noticed that our key's chip had come out of its casing so we called Jerry again. He came over to our house and fixed the key for no additional charge. What do you when the 1st locksmith tells you right off the bat that he may not be able to get into your car - BMW X3? I dunno, panic and start getting religious? Or do you start looking for a brick to punch out one of the windows? Well, I sort of did all of the above and even called a dealer to see what my options would be. I could get the vehicle towed to them and they can try, but since there's no trick to get in, the worst case scenario is to break a window, which have been estimated at $575 just for the window. Luckily, Geico called me to check on the situation and offered to find another locksmith willing to get the job done. After about 20 minutes, 3 locksmiths later, the Customer Service person puts on AA Rodas Locksmith on the phone w/me and sends them over. Jerry, my hero, came over. After spending 45 minutes in various attempts and concocting numerous makeshift tools, he managed to fish out the key that my "wonderful" husband left in the cup holder when he locked the key in the car. I truly appreciate Jerry's professional attitude and tenacity to keep trying, even though another appointment was looking in San Leandro for him.
