I walked in with no appointment an hour before closing after having an extremely long day and they took me right away. They were kind, quick, and honestly the best nails I have had done in the area. I would highly recommend. I got gelx and have extension and they took such good care of me. It's hard to find good nail salons out there and they really went above and beyond.
Bunch of THIEVES that's what they are !! At first I called asking for acrylic filling and the lady quoted me for $50 dlls (without her tip $)over the phone.... Well, I went there to have it done and she ended up doing my nails with however the hell material she wanted to! she put "gel powder" instead of acrylic but I let her finish bc I was alredy there and that product seemed to be as good as acrylic, I was in a rush for a dinner that night. I picked 3 different GEL colors, and NO designs NO stones or anything extraordinary just the 3 Gel colors also She offered me $10 dll for a 10 min neck massage which I agreed and to finish she told me she was going to "charge me cheaper" bc for each different GEL color she charges 8 dlls ?!!! So I ended up paying for my nails $ 95dlls !!! (Including the back massage) Which I paid ... after a week and half my index finger nail broke in half so i waited 2 more days until i got off from work to go have it fix, so i went today with my daughter and once the lady that did my nails saw me she gave me this strange look and i asked her "hi, do you remember me? i came with you not so long ago you did my nails one of them broke" and she said to me "looong time ago " i said "no, almost 2 weeks ago and i need it to have it fix please", she made me sit and wait and she didn't even do it for me ... another one did which it was probably one of the ladies that help her clean her spot bc she seemed to have NO CLUE of what she was doing while working on me and besides putting on my nail whatever the hell another material she picked and ALSO changed the gel color to another color whatever she wanted that I didn't ask for, the service they BOTH gave me was HORRIBLE both of Asian bitches was bursting with laughs in my face !! as the other one was doing crap on my nail, I hold it and was not disrespectful to both of them bc my daughter was next to me , but they have guts to ask for TIP ?!! after the crap service they giving ??... I asked her to at least paint my other index nail the same color since she change it already or I wasn't going to pay her and she right away asked me with attitude for my other hand and painted it on top of the old gel color that she didn't even removed ??!!! but oh well.. second and LAST TIME going there!!, I'm not a thief like THEM !!!! I did paid her $7 dlls she asked, I had a $10dll bill and of course, I asked her for my change back and I heard she was talking crap after I asked for my change back and left the crappy ass place
I only go here when I'm desperate and running out of time. I am writing this review while at the pedi chair. Come here only if you are desperate! Why do I go here then? Well if I'm traveling or have an event and realized I only have 1-2 hr to get my nails done and I know this place will do both gel pedi and gel mani in less than an hour! Also the "special" prices will get you in and they will want to upgrade you to their menu of spa pedi. It is annoying and it's like darn, I'm already spending $90 on both and you still want me to upgrade! Wtf The woman is very brisk and pulls your feet roughly. They do the bare minimum and focus on polish to get you in and out even though the place is almost empty. When I have time, I go down to Fulton Street area or even lower east side. Don't expect stellar or even modest customer service or spa like behavior! They are very quick! Ps: too quick! Despite paying over $90 with tip for gel pedi and gel mani, I noticed once I got home that she did not paint one of my toe nails! See picture. If I was not rushing, I would have gone back.
Yes, the folk were so nice. As for their skills, that's another matter. I'm not sure what the problem is, but these tips have not stayed on 4 days!! They are literally lifting off!! What a waste of my time, money and energy!! These are supposed to be a new set?! Amending. Regardless of how nice, this was a hot mess!! These nails literally popped off in days!! The few that didn't were a headache to take off. The tech who had to fix this mess said she had never seen anyone's nails look this bad. They over filed my nails, but did little to the cuticles, the clearly did not know what they were doing to apply tips!
Came here again and got the same style done with extensions on a few nails. Really happy with the result. It's been about a week and the nails still look and feel great. I've received a lot of nice compliments on the nails. This is my favorite style. I'll be coming here often til I move
I generally overlook the poor customer service (including, as others have mentioned, the constant loud complaining about customers under the assumption that no one understands) because this place is convenient and will usually see you if you call ahead. But yesterday was the last straw for me. A nail tech left an acetone soak on my fingernails while I was getting a pedicure and completely forgot about me, and the woman doing the pedicure was actually annoyed that I insisted on her removing the acetone foils for me at the 40-minute point because my nails and skin were burning. You can see in the photo what the result was. There was no apology - just more eye rolling and complaining. It also appears that there is no sterilization of tools between uses. I will not be returning.
I came here recommended by someone. Did nails gel extensions, $80. Jessica did my nails. She did exactly the length and shape i wanted. It's been a week now, nothing broken, nothing chipped, still look amazing. She's a real pro. Definitely coming back to her. Thank you!

I'm from Cali & finding a good nail place that does acrylics is difficult. But Yoyo here does an amazing job with mine each time - she takes her time, makes me feel comfortable, & goes above and beyond to do whatever design I request. Pedi's are nothing to write home about but they do a good job overall and I've never had an issue. They get busy quickly so I would recommend calling ahead.

I never had a 5 min pedicure ! They rushed because they had a walk in, my feet were still wet as they passed me my socks, never again and definetly wouldn't recommend. Also it looks a bit unsanitary. read more

If you want a quick, well done gel manicure- this is a great spot! I was in and out in no more than 25 minutes and paid $32 cash. Is it the most gorgeous interior and cleanest equipment ever? No but it was exactly what I wanted and needed. I'll be back! read more

Came here with an open mind given the reviews. I'm pretty no-frills for manicures and pedicures. I went on a Thursday and I'm writing this review the following Wednesday. I was going on vacation and went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The person doing my nails was quiet which I appreciate, but she did try pushing for massages and spa pedicures. The services were fine, my gel manicure looked great initially. A few days later however, one of my nails chipped and the color started looking brown. This has never happened to me before and I'm sure it has to do with the quality of the nail polishes or the lamps. The pictures are day 6 of the gel manicure. I had no issue with the pedicure, the color is still intact. I would say go at your own discretion, but I wish my color stayed intact for my vacation. read more

Okay so I wasn't going to give this place a rating at all because what ever but it's only been 1 week since I did my SNS nails and they are absolutely terrible. Started breaking on Day 2. When you get there everyone seems so nice but they try so hard to get more money out of you. I sat in a chair and the lady offered a massage I told her "no thank you" and she proceeded to give me one. I felt really uncomfortable. Then she said "while your nails soak just 10 mins for $20. No I said No! My pointer finger cracked the second day I got them done. The other finger nail broke and chipped off completely. My thumb finally on day 7 also chipped! I paid money so that my nails can last me the 14 days!! Barely lasted a couple of days Ridiculous!! read more

Jessica is the absolute best, Hannah is also amazing. Jess does my nails every time I go, and I am constantly getting compliments about how good my nails look (and if they are real or not-which they are). I do the powder dip healthy nail. I swear by Jessica. Update: Have to switch nail salons because they have been botching my nails every time. Also it's really dirty here. It always has been and I ignored it. UPDATE AGAIN: desperate times call for desperate measures- My cousin and I NEEDED a manicure so we went to get one at AA. 13 hours later our gel manis were peeling off. Pic attached. read more

0 stars. Went in 30 mins ago to get my eyebrows done. Showed the lady a picture of a thick eyebrow that was slightly arched. I always show a picture so there is no confusion. Super straightforward. When she was done my eyebrows were completely different, thin as could be, no arch, the same width all the way around and half moon shaped. I am so upset. WORST OF ALL, they RIPPED one or two layers of skin off my eye lid. I will now have to get antibiotics in order to prevent bacteria from getting under my skin and deal with scabs under my eyebrows. All they did was apologize and waive the service fee. NEVER GO HERE!!! read more

My sentiments about this place are just mediocre. My nail lady was not the friendliest. The quality of the nail polish was not the greatest. Luckily my friend brought some colors of her own, so I used hers on my fingernails. For my pedicure, I had to ask my nail tech to scrub a little more because she hadn't scrubbed enough. In short, attention to detail was way off. She also put a lot of nail polish on my toes because she didn't paint them well and was going to add a top coat right on top of three coats of thick white polish, so I had to stop her. I suggested she do my manicure and let my toes dry a little before she adds the top coat.... she continued to add the top coat and I had to ask her again to kindly stop. I feel that someone providing a service that has to do with a person's appearance should be very careful, detailed, and take into consideration that we are paying for a service that can be done anywhere else. It seems like they just don't really care. Also, if you're going here bring cash. They give you a nasty look if you pay card.... yet it's 2018..... read more
I walked in one day, and was very happy with my gel mani/pedi I received. I am super picky when it comes to my nails, and Mindy took a lot of time doing a nice job on my nails. I would have given 5 stars if they did 3 coats of Shellac instead of just 2 for the price they charge and less upselling for massage and additional services during the service, gets a little annoying. They accept credit, but cash tip. read more

Listen, I'f you're coming here for a Elizabeth Arden red door spa experience, this isn't it. BUT if you are looking for a quick, good mani this is it. I've been here twice already and didn't come sooner Bc of the reviews but after coming on my I've had a good experience. They're nice , fast and well priced. read more

On a whim I popped into this salon after work at around 745. No wait and I was taken right away. I had powder gel on my nails but since I'm spending money like Beyoncé on Kelly's budget, I originally thought I'd get just a gel manicure but at the last minute I opted for powder again because I live in New York so what's another $40 in debt? But I digress. I was taken by Sophia and while I was initially skeptical as I've gotten some janky powder gels, this woman turned it OUT. Like my nails are glistening. Flawless. So smooth. She was so detailed and precise - my nail beds were literally honored by her work. I broke a couple nails before coming in and she added tips on them to even out my manicure at no extra charge. A SCAM A SCAM SCAM ! I do NOT Recommend firstly getting my feet done I wasn't handled with care my skin is hurting & bleeding from the drilling process. Then that was $57 & she pressed me for a tip. Then I did my finger nails which ironically was more than my toes $75 & I've included a picture of what nails were supposedly $75 which is totally too much of a cost for these little a** nails. Worst experience! First off, clutter and health violation central. While getting my aweful gel fill, another customer actually tripped over one of the piles. Furthermore, if you do venture in bring own nail tools. They do not believe in sanitation. Second issue, I am there to relax not up he sold every product under the sun. They could put a car salesman to shame! Lastly the nails themselves. Four hours, three manicurist, 92 dollars later to destroy my once beautiful nails. They came out uneven and painted with skills of a toddler. BEWARE read more

WORST experience I have ever had at a nail salon! The woman who did my nails was SO rude and didn't bother to get all of the nail polish off before putting the gel on, she didn't clean up my nails after she was done. I asked her if she would and she just looked at me and threw the paper towel in her hand down. She still did not clean them up so I asked if I could have a cotton ball and she aggressively grabbed my hands and started wiping. After she was "done" (still so messy and awful looking) she told me I was done and walked me to the counter where she snatched my card charged me and didn't provide an explanation of charges. On top of the terrible service, the salon was DISGUSTING. The only reason I stayed after I walked in was because I had a gift card. There is so much clutter everywhere and it's so dingy and dirty. There are plenty of other nail salons in the area THIS IS NOT WORTH IT, even with a gift card. read more

stopped by here after work today after getting recommended by someone. i called to make an apportionment and came late but i was seated right away. the customer service is HORRID. at least for the nail tech i had. she was so into her phone she kept getting distracted with her phone, pausing to file my nails to answer a call, tried to talk and file my nails simultaneously and quickly filing and being SO harsh with my nails and eventually jusr my skin (my poor cuticles) she then hangs up and finished filing and buffering. SHE KEPT LEAVING ME AND STOPPING HER WORK TO WHISPER TO HER COWORKER AND PICKING UP HER PHONE AND THEN TEXTING. the tools look like it needs to be sanitized and clean. they don't wipe in between customers at all. needless to say, cleanliness and customer service was horrid and needs more improvement. she then QUICKLY did my nails, paint, dip, paint, dip and half a**ed painted it. and picked up her phone again. she put her phone down to read a message she got and then tried to file while not looking at my nails but her phone. i let out a huge sigh of irritation. like come on now. this is ridiculous and unprofessional. she was so quick with the job and literally buffered my nails so much and my cutlets are non existent and way too push down and it stung when she applied the last cost of the OPI finisher. i'm so so GLAD my nail job came out very well. i was losing my patience so bad with the rushed and harsh job, and the constant looking at the phone without watching and doing my nails carefully. my cuticles STINGS from being cut so short. 3/5 stars because the customer service i experienced from my nail tech was awful. if you want to talk on the phone so bad don't work. cleanliness needs a lot more work. also, she and another lady couldn't stop talking about the customers in the store especially in particular of one lady who was minding her business and getting a pedicure. i don't understand their dialect but understood their mandarin. ALSO, i noticed how accommodating and nice they were to their White clients. they didn't take out a nice new nail filer for me but they did to three White women clients/customers. They paid no attention to when doing my nails. so AGGRESSIVE so rushed and harshly filing my nails and she wasn't even cutting my cuticles - she kept using the nail drill which caused my skin to bleed and sting because it's cut now. she was so sloppy, so rushed, so distracted from her phone, gossiping with her co-workers, looking and breaking her neck to look at the customer(s) that her co worker was pointing out. so ridiculous. i only tipped 15% and she didn't seem pleased. i only even tipped 15% because my nails came out nice despite my poor cuticles burn now because she was filing my skin. i wanted to tip $3 or none because of how not focused she was while doing my nails. THEY ALSO DONT CLEAN THEIR PRODUCTS IN BETWEEN CUSTOMERS. please read the reviews and go at your own risk or desperate times calls for desperate measures. will i come back here again? probably not. i'm thankful my nails weren't awful though. - it's been 2 weeks and my nails has turned yellow and it's cracked. awful. read more
