On vacation and needed a pedicure badly. Just by luck found Nail WAH and we were able to be seen quickly. You could choose the foot bath flavor: cucumbers, lemon, the water was a perfect ! Eunice was the nail lady that did my pedicure. I felt sure reassured that I could actually see the autoclaved sterile package of the instruments she would be using on me, and opened them in front of me. so very important to prevent fungus transmission!!! A ton of polishes to choose from. Complimentary iced/ hot tea- I chose iced citron and those ladies make a delicious tea! If I'm back in the area would definitely return. for those mobility impaired you need to climb a flight of stairs

Went here for a "treat myself date" with a friend before the show. Easy to make an online appointment for a pedicure. These ladies absolutely know what they are doing. Foot bath, scruffing, scrubbing, clipping and an amazing foot massage. As if that wasn't enough -- beverage was offered (I asked for coffee and was expecting air pot style) . But it was a smart little coffee made to order and it was perfect. Staff super friendly and the shop was cluttered but clean. Definitely worth every penny. And, my painted toes turned out amazing.....not gunna share a foot pic cuz nobody wants to see that shit. But yes, love this place and will be back!!!!

I don't normally review non-food places on Yelp but had to give credit where due, this was a 10/10 experience! I called in the day before asking for a last minute appointment. The owner accommodated their schedule to fit me in while ensuring my nails wouldn't be rushed. When I got there, Hazel (sister 15) and another tech were patient, thoughtful, and respectful to help me come up with the best approach. After I gave a very vague set of pictures and descriptions, they said they would do a "white sheer ombre Hailey Bieber nails." The end result was truly perfect to what I wanted!! The appointment lasted a bit over 2 hours. With each step, Hazel was efficient without cutting any corners. She was super meticulous, detail-oriented, and gentle. On top of that, unlike sometimes at salons where it feels like small talk is forced, the conversation with Hazel was so genuine and lovely. The salon does a lot to make it a wonderful experience. Hand mask during the manicure, complimentary tea and coffee options, wireless phone charging stands, and more! I don't get my nails done very often but I feel like the price was pretty par for the course. It was a total of $100 pre-tip ($48 for gel, $30 for ombre, and $18 for white chrome, plus tax). I didn't do removals or acrylics so I can't speak to that.

Ignore my cuticles lol, this was taken literally a week after my appointment

Absolutely fantastic service! I opted to do a cute cloudy night sky design, which the nail tech executed so wonderfully. She was really detail oriented and made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. I even got some guidance when selecting my colors, which was much needed as there were just so many options. And as seen in the picture, which was taken a week after my appointment, the nails hold up wonderfully. The place itself is small, but so adorably decorated. And they even offer you tea and drinks as you do your nails. All in all I absolutely loved this place, and already have an appointment to do a pedicure. Looking forward to my upcoming visit!

Found this based on reviews and first impression was nice. Saw from across the street as it's on the second floor above the Carvel. Stairs look a little precarious, but it wouldn't be NYC without that. They texted 30 minutes before to let me know they were running behind. I arrived right at time of appointment and you need to be buzzed into the building. A gentleman assisted with opening the door. Was directed to select polish then the scent (not really sure) for the pedicure. I choose the Jasmine one. Ample space behind the chair to put stuff aka heavy winter coat and a bag. Chairs were comfy, I didn't use the massage feature. The pedi started 20 minutes after the initial delay, so. Great job on the pedicure, she took her time and I didn't get polish, which cut a bit of waiting time in the end as I'd be stuffing them back into my socks/shoes. I'll keep this in mind for the area.

Gel Manicure with 3 colors - perfect transitional manicure!

My 1st visit was for a simple polish removal + filing - I love that they have this option because some salons don't want to just removal only. But WAH Sister 3 took her time with my removal and filing, which I appreciate. My 2nd visit was for a removal + gel manicure. Since it was a Friday, appointments were completely booked, so I put myself on the wait list, and luckily spots opened up. When I arrived, the manicure seats were all taken, so they did my manicure in the pedicure chair, which was okay with me. WAH Sister 4 was very nice, and she was patient with me in choosing my nail polish colors according to my inspiration photo. Space is very clean and relaxing. And due to its proximity to my workplace, I'll definitely be back again! Note - I don't want to take off a star for this but WAH Sister 4 did drill a little too close to my cuticle nail bed on 1 finger when she was taking off my old polish and it cut me a little. Hopefully, this was just due to the fact that she was doing my manicure while standing up.

So good, every time. All the nail techs here really take their time and I've loved every gel mani I've had.

I haven't been to a salon in a while, but my poor feet were suffering due to the harsh winter and I desperately needed a pedicure. I decided to treat myself to a manicure as well because ~self care is the best kind of care~. Even though the salon is located in Times Square, it's on the 2nd floor, so you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. The salon itself was very relaxing and quiet. The pedicure was great - I got the vegan pedicure done. You have an option on what type of scent you want to be used for the service - I chose olive for a neutral scent, but there's also watermelon and eucalyptus. After the pedicure, I got a gel manicure with a design. I liked how you could text a picture of the design you want for an estimate cost - I was quoted $25 for "high intensity" design, which I thought was really reasonable. Jeeyoung was really nice and made sure she replicated reference picture - she really took her time to make sure I was satisfied with the colors and the design which was great. After the service, you get an option for a drink to-go! Since it was pretty chilly, I got the citrus tea and it was a nice treat after a self-care day. 100% recommend if you are looking for a place that does gel + nail art.

It truly creates a relaxing atmosphere. However, I've noticed that the quality of the mani & pedi has declined over the years, which has made me hesitant to return, even though it's in the most convenient location for me. These days when I returned, it's just for last minute color change to avoid more damage. I referred a friend to join me for a mani/pedi once, and she also mentioned that while the ambiance is great, but the owners should get their own mani & pedi done by their technicians, which I completely agree with. While I usually don't like getting my cuticles pushed or cut, I really appreciate that they respected that preference. However, when it comes to removing polish, it's done very recklessly with a lack of attention to detail. On several occasions, they've scraped the skin around the nails--sometimes cutting it to the point where it bled and required a bandage. When I mentioned this to the hostess after she asked for feedback, she dismissed it by saying I have sensitive skin. Since when is it normal for skin to be scraped during a mani/pedi? Additionally, I've had gel mani here twice in a row, and the technician over-shaved to the point where my nails ended up paper-thin that I have to ask the technician to apply extra coats to make up for it. One time, the technician even touched my skin with the machine that is used to shave the gel polish off. I've also had my skin scraped during pedicures, which is concerning. Every time I get a gel mani, within two weeks, the polish would start to lift on the cuticle side, which shows a lack of precision during the application. My friend got a regular mani & pedi here, and one of her nails chipped within a day. While I still love the atmosphere and the owners, the decline in the quality of the services, especially regarding polish removal, nail care, and attention to detail, has made me hesitant on coming back.

The interior design of the space is what pulled my attention when walking up 9th Ave. It is chic yet accessible and never approaches being or feeling gaudy. Very clean look (and space). Great color palate used. Very comfortable chairs. Good use of white space accentuated with green angular paint and golden decals and other ornamentations, all done minimally and with purposeful placement. Carmen (my nail tech) made good efforts and took obvious care to give me a nice buff manicure, all for only $27 (+ a small amount of tax). No nips or cuts. No pain. Textbook technique. Picked up well on when I wanted to zen out to the aura of the space and the well-curated spa playlist vs when I was open to a little nail tech kiki. Loved the sugar scrub they use for the hand massage. I take ownership for not getting the pre-cuticle work nail soak as part of the provided service. IMO, if a nail salon doesn't automatically incorporate the soak into your mani, you as the customer should speak up when the softening gel is pulled out and before it is applied. If they don't offer it? That's another thing. But I didn't test those waters and cannot speak to Nail Me Right (goodness gravy I love the business name!). So, keep in mind if the soak is your thing. They were very accommodating from the moment I arrived until I left. So I have a hunch this request wouldn't be a problem. Same with the end result. You as the customer are responsible for checking your nails / hands / feet / whatever before ending the appointment. I was late for my next appointment and did not, later seeing I would've like a little extra work done where the far end of nail edges meets the finger and a shinier buff applied. Again, I am quite sure Carmen would have accommodated had I done my part and spoken up before leaving. Still, I woke up the next morning to those slight extra bits naturally working themselves out (which points to the moisturizing measures NMR applies being of good quality), and my hand looking nice. I plan to pop in next time I'm in the area and in the market for some nail / hand / foot love, and hope you'll consider doing the same to support this family and what they're working to bring to the neighborhood.
