I came to Colome Nails as a walk in and I was served right away! I got gelX nails with design and it turned out just like the picture that I showed my nail tech. I definitely will be back for another nail session once my current nails grow out! Also the staff were super friendly which is a huge plus! read more

Colome Nails - About to get Nail'd ^_^ - Nail Salons Near Me - New York, New York

Tucked away above the bustling streets of New York City and just across the street from Madison Square Garden, you'll find Colome Nails. It was a short walk from our hotel and solidly recommended from other Yelpers. This cozy second-floor nail spa is a great little escape when you need quick, reliable service. They offer manicures, pedicures, and waxing, and walk-ins are welcome, which was perfect when I needed a gel fill before an event. Julie took care of me, and she was exactly what you'd expect from NYC: fast, efficient, and focused. Every stroke was precise, and while she wasn't chatty, her skill spoke for itself. The spa isn't the most spotless I've ever visited, but it's definitely hygienic, and I felt well cared for the entire time. I usually go for a classic, neutral look, and Julie delivered beautifully. My nails came out clean, polished, and event-ready. If you want quality work without the fuss, especially in such a convenient location, this place is a solid choice. read more

Probably one of the worst service I've received. I'm from OC/LA and I think we have some of the BEST nail salons. Being here in NY has always been a mission to find high quality work. I came here with detailed requests but READY with photos and she did nothing like I asked. I got a french pedicure. I showed her a picture and asked her if she had the same base color, she went on a different spectrum. I told her I wanted a really square shape, she disregarded that. And what annoyed me is she didn't even clean under my nails! She gave me literally a one minute massage because she was trying to rush out and go home. They charged me $30 more than I do at home for literally MEDIOCRE work. When I tipped her (decently but also didn't have to) she didn't even look at me or say thank you. It was pretty damn rude. I ended up going home and cleaned under and filed my own damn toes! Would not recommend this place! read more

The nail tech was rude the moment I came in. She barely did anything for my manicure but paint my nails and did a poor job when I told her to fix some of the dripping polish she made a face and said something to her coworker in Chinese. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I've been going here for years. All of the nail technicians are incredible. You can come in any design and they will find a way to bring it to life. Highly recommend! read more

I squeezed in a last-minute pedicure appointment and opted for a French pedicure--$45 in cash, or $47 if you pay by card. The nail tech was friendly, though the lines weren't quite as precise as I'd hoped. The complimentary shoulder massage when you are drying your nails is fairly quick but to be expected. One of the reasons I chose this salon was because they advertised free Wi-Fi, so I planned to get some work done during my pedicure. Unfortunately, the connection kept dropping, so that was a total bust. read more

Everyone in this salon knows I'm mentally ill and "miss perfect" but they never fail me. I will saw off my own hand before I leave a salon feeling anything less than perfect and these girls can make sure that doesn't happen 3 years down you'll never get rid of me!!! read more

Well to start I'm from CA. So maybe the style of product is different . My nails are pretty! Beautiful color, nice ambiance to the place. Clean. Took the time to shape the nails nicely. My complaint is the price. This would have cost me $45 at home. Not $105. And by day 4 the nail is like coming off the gel? Idk I've never had it lift or separate like this before. Im pretty upset. I left a nice tip on top of price too. The lady was great but these are not $100 nails to only last 4 days!!!!! :( read more

I've been a customer for the past 2 years.I usually get the hard gel mani and gel pedi. Jenny is my nail tech. Before Jenny my nails were pretty basic. Now I'm a bit more adventurous with nail color and shape. Scheduling appointments is very easy. I usually get an appointment with her the same day. The shop is always nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. I look forward to my nail days at Colome. read more

Shocked with all the great reviews. This place sucks. Went in for a quick manicure and it was sloppy. The lady was rushing because they were closing in an hour. She also made a mistake and brushed against my nail and it got on her arm. Her attempt to fix it was horrible. Then I was rushed out and my nails were barely dry. She put some oil on my nails which left a muddy texture to them. Don't bother going here. read more

I went in for a regular pedicure and SNS nails, and while they did a good job on the nails, as I was going to leave, I asked if my toes were dry or if I could give it more time. I was told they were fine. She then proceeded to wrap the tops of them in saran wrap, and by the time I got home, as you can see in the picture below, they were completely ruined. When I called to ask if I could come in to have them fixed, they told me to come back tomorrow and that they were closing soon. I made it clear I left early in the morning for my sister's bachelorette, and now I have paid $$$$ just to have my nails ruined when I could have gone probably anywhere else for better quality. This is the third time I've had a meh experience here. Won't be coming back again. read more

Let me start off by saying the customer service is unmatched . Im here every two weeks and if u don't make an appointment which I highly recommend over the phone , they are still very accommodating. I've been seeing Wendy for over a decade, and no one compares! Even when I've moved and tried other salons, her work is unmatched. I'm very particular about my nails, and I always love the way she does them. I constantly get compliments from friends and even strangers who can instantly tell when Wendy's done my nails. Beyond her incredible skill, she's a kind and caring person who truly values her customers. If you want flawless nails and a tech who genuinely cares, Wendy is the best there is! I included some old reviews from when she was at a different salon but the timestamps speak for themselves. Thank you Wendy read more

Very neat .. I will definitely recommend this place ... I will recommend Judy and Rachel for pedi and mani .. they last a long time .

Do they do a great job? Yes. But do they triple book appointments during lunchtime? Also yes. My party of 5 had to wait almost 40 minutes to begin our pedicures this past week because they let 2 other large parties book at the same time while also taking walk-ins. I was really disappointed that they were so over booked. Beware of this if you go during lunchtime hours. read more

I've came a couple of times for a gel manicure and it was some of the best manicures I've had. The first one lasted me for 5 weeks with no chipping which I don't think I've ever had happen before. I came back for my next one only because my nails were growing out. It's been a couple of weeks and they are still looking great. The girls working here are very nice. I've scheduled appointments online and had no wait time both times, even when arriving a little early. Also very reasonably priced and they don't charge tax if you pay with credit card which is very rare. Will definitely be coming back. read more

I booked an appointment for a gel manicure here after seeing decent reviews on Yelp. I asked for the pattern below which ended up costing me around $73 ($40 base + $30 for the design). My technician, Katrina, was super sweet. She must've been able to tell I was Chinese because she started speaking to me in Chinese haha but I honestly love that. We were chatting about the World Cup throughout the session. As my nails were under the UV, she gave me a free shoulder massage which really nice. Then as I was checking out, she also gave me a free lotion! My only complaint was I wish she covered the white tips of my middle and ring fingers as well, but otherwise super pleased with the experience and would come again! read more

It's not every day you find a gem in the heart of the city, and that's exactly what Colome Nails in Midtown has been for me. I've been a loyal patron for three years now, and every visit solidifies why Susan and Wendy are the best nail professionals in NYC. I've been to various nail salons across the city, but the UV gel nails crafted by these talented ladies? Second to none. I am not exaggerating when I say they do the BEST UV gel nails in the city. One of the most impressive aspects of their service is the strength and longevity of my nails. My nails last nearly a month, a testament to both the quality of the products they use and their exceptional technique. I cannot tell you the number of times I've received compliments on my nails, sparking envy among my friends and coworkers. Even after relocating to the Lower East Side, I find myself trekking back to Midtown for my nail appointments. It's not just a matter of loyalty; it's a testament to the unmatched quality and service provided by Colome Nails. If you're looking for top-tier nails, look no further. I cannot recommend Susan, Wendy, and the whole team at Colome Nails enough. See you at my next appointment, ladies! read more

Colome Nails - Gorgeous UV gel nails with extensions by Wendy. - Nail Salons Near Me - New York, New York

Stay away from this salon! As someone who patronized this business for a few years and dealt/ tolerated their lackadaisical, inconsistent and rude behavior. My advise is to stay away from here if you want HEALTHY NAILS in the long run. In addition, They are rude, not loyal to their clients, very dodgy with their pricing and gossip about clients in mandarin during sessions. Sometimes they're good, other times, I've had to consistently babysit Wendy, during an appointment to avoid the gel lifting and me coming back for a fix. I'm very particular with my nails, I get them done every two weeks. That is a lot of money to spend biweekly so I should be extra picky about where I spend my $$ You book an appointment here and most times you have to wait or she leaves you half way to attend to other clients or to pick the calls. An hour appointment becomes 3 hours. They offer no apologies, but Wendy had the nerve to tell me when I complained- "except you're going to the airport and missing a flight, I don't understand what the rush is" what a cruel and insensitive disrespectful person who shouldn't run a business. So many other complaints I could write here, but I think y'all get the point. I can't count how many times my Partner said to me to find a different salon as I'm always unsatisfied with their services, and how rude they are but I am loyal, and I tend to give businesses benefit of the doubt and chances, and to be fair I was lazy to have to search for another salon, However this business doesn't appreciate or respect customers it's all about the money and not longevity or building lasting relationships. There are better nail salons in the area, colome isn't one of them. read more

I've been coming here since last November and I love it. I've been going to Rocio for gel manicures/pedicures. She does such a great job. She knows how I like my nails shaped and done. Sometimes it can get very busy especially after 5pm and you could be waiting a while, but the service itself isn't usually that long. So glad I finally found a good nail salon that's also very close to my office. read more

This is my second time at Colome Nails. My first visit, I had a great manicurist who was kind and detail oriented. I did a dip powder and she examined and made sure my nails were even and perfect. I told her, "I've never had someone examine my hands as thoroughly as you". (I wish I knew her name). This visit I had Judy and she did exquisite work. She was sweet, helpful, and informative. She ~literally~ held my hand through the entire process. As someone who is a reformed nail/cuticle biter with psoriasis, I've always been very self conscious about my hands and although my hands have gotten better I still get very nervous and insecure with getting my nails done. This nail was a treat myself reward for myself and hand care journey. I recommend cash if you can and I've only called ahead but this time I was a half hour from train traffic and they were very accommodating. read more

I made an appointment for sns powder full set at 7pm on the day of, and was surprised that they had availability! When I arrived, the salon was PACKED. Even though literally every technician was working with a customer, I was quickly checked in, and given a selection of colors to choose from while I waited. They are very straightforward with their pricing, which I appreciate. not all salons will give you an exact price before working on your nails, especially when you want designs added. Note that if you want to pay with credit card, it is a few dollars more. They also allow tip via credit card if you don't have cash My technician was very meticulous and detailed when working with my nails. She did a great job working with me to achieve the results I wanted. They dip your nails in the powder 4 times, so sns powder full set with no designs ended up taking 90 minutes. This took a bit longer than I expected, but I'm super happy with the results!! I would def come back to this salon!! Great communication, excellent service, and reasonable prices :) read more

My friend & I decided to go get our nails done together, and we both got the UV Gel with Shellac. She didn't get the extensions, but I did (mine were $95, hers were $80). Neither of us have been to Colome Nails before, but WOW! The service was on point, I couldn't have asked for better quality, and the overall vibe was calm and organized. My nail tech Jenny was amazing and took her time with my nails, but also got them done in a timely manner! Nail techs were not friendly but probably just typical New Yorker attitude dealing with lots of tourists? Nice salon. Dip manicure was good. Wish I had time for a pedicure. Will come back the next time I'm in the area. Pay in cash, they charge extra for credit card. read more

This is always my go to spot for nails! I'll be traveling so I wanted to get my nails done. I don't remember the name of my tech, but I wanted a French SNS dip powder full set and a regular pedicure. The total came out to $108 not including tip, so price wise it's a bit expensive. This salon is clean and my tech took her time with everything, making sure that I liked what I got from length to color to design. It's my first time getting a French manicure so I'm happy with my result! Will definitely be coming back here when I travel again. read more

I've been to this salon twice and it's been amazing!! The manicurists are so kind. The two times I've been there they say hello (rarely happens at other places) and invited me to sit right away. Ask for Joy or Rosy! Both are fantastic. I got a dip manicure (pictured, color 130), for $50. Which I believe is completely worth it (especially in Manhattan). You are also paying for the experience, which is really important to me. I will be coming back!! read more

Wouldn't go again. Stopped in- technician did not open a sterilized set of tools- just sort of wiped them with an alcohol swab. Gel mani- had it on a Friday- by Sunday edges were lifting- she allowed less than 15 seconds under the light between coats and painted 3 fingers on one hand then switched to the other and then back- not sure why as this meant just a few seconds under the light. Pedicure was ok- minimal removal of rough heel skin. Overall- I've had better nearly anywhere I've been read more

I went to get a gel pedicure on Wednesday. When I was getting a gel pedicure, the nail technician hurt my left big toe really badly. It kept hurting even after I got home, and it started bleeding. The next day I went to the hospital, and they confirmed that my foot is infected because of my pedicure. I now need to take antibiotics for five days. I contacted the salon because it was their fault, but they refused to admit it. They claimed I kept moving and that my foot was already red. This is completely untrue! I didn't move at all during the procedure, and my foot wasn't red before. I've had many pedicures before, and this is the first time I've had an infection! This place is the worst, and I definitely do not recommend it！！ read more
