I walked in to One Nail Studio on a Sunday afternoon and was helped immediately. The place is clean and bright with a good number of seats/stations. I came in for a pedicure and was not really upsold on a bunch of things like different tiers of pedis or gel--though i did personally choose gel myself. It was done so quickly but really well. They also fixed up a nail i had that was a bit misshapened because of an ingrown, and i couldn't even tell it had issues before. It was also fairly affordable. Would definitely go again! read more

A small, unassuming nail studio turned out to be one of the best pedicures I've ever had! In the city for a getaway weekend with the Man and we decided to seek out a pedicure. The desk at the hotel didn't have any strong suggestions but the gal 'thought she'd heard' about One Nail Studio. Turns out, it was only a few blocks from the hotel, so we thought we'd give it a shot. Customer service was great, right from the get-go. I called, someone answered and then the call dropped. They initiated a call right back and we secured appointments. We arrived early and were taken nearly on time. At home I'm so used to nail salons telling anyone and everyone to come in at whatever time they want and then it's a mess of waiting. This was the polar opposite. We were greeted immediately. We acknowledged we were early. The estimate was that someone would be with us soon. The time estimate was entirely accurate. I also observed them telling walk-ins a time estimate to return. Saved a handful of people a lot of idle wait time. Pedicures chairs looked super new. Very comfy with all the arm rest controls you'd expect to adjust the seat and have a nice massage. They also used the usual sanitary practices on the basin. After a nice soak, my nail technician tackled my claws. I have one big toe nail that was injured years ago and makes for a bit of a challenge. The lovely woman assured me it was nothing she hadn't seen before and that I shouldn't worry. She was super careful. I can also report that when trimming my cuticles she was very aware that the blood vessels on that toe are very close to the surface. She worked very slowly and cautiously to make sure I wasn't cut. She did a great job! Some callous buffing, an amazing deep tissue massage and moisturizing cream layer and we were done. (I opted for no polish - just not my thing.) All in with a tip it was $50 each. I consider that a bargain compared to the prices we pay at home. I'll definitely make sure our hotel knows to add them to their recommendation list. I'll also keep them in mind for return trips. They were great and I'd love to see them benefit from their hard work! read more

HIGHLY recommend Cindy! She is incredible. Really takes her time and is super thoughtful with her work. Very detail oriented which is a trait I have found hard to come by in New York! I had her do baby pink ombre extensions and I am absolutely in love. I also recommend you add on the 10 minute neck massage. Ask her to use lotion and it's amazing! She can do deep tissue. Ambiance at the salon is so nice as well. They keep it really spa like and quiet. read more

Amelia did an amazing job with my white nails! She even fixed a broken toe nail from running. Good attention to detail.

Do not recommend at all. My nail removal and regular gel nail is $52 cash. I am seeing $47 on below comment so it seems like they just made up their price randomly. My nail was not even. Look at the picture. Simplest nail I am getting but worst ever. read more

Came in for gel removal and regular polish. When they put the polish on I was told that the polish didn't need a base coat which I thought was really weird. Then when the manicure was finished, all I had to dry the nails was a small hand held fan and there were bumps and bubbles in every single nail, weird texture from the nail polish and not smooth at all. Streaky and doesn't look like top coat was even applied although I saw them put it on. They left me without cuticle oil or lotion and my hands looked so dry and unhealthy. Total for gel removal and regular polish was $47 (which they said on the phone beforehand) but they told me it was $49 because I was paying with card. This is definitely not close to a $50 manicure. Also tipped so the total ended up being $60.. so disappointing and my nails look so terrible I'm embarrassed for anyone to see them. I could do a better job painting them myself. read more

Brand new salon that's clean, light and airy. Owner and manager are super nice. They stand out in an area with a zillion nail salons with a slightly more upscale feel and nice *non-toxic products*! I stopped in for a quick color change and got a short massage as a bonus. Definitely worth a try! read more

I don't think these nail technicians have much training. My daughter got gel nails and I got a pedicure. Neither tech seemed very comfortable doing the jobs. The manicure took 2.5 hours and did not even look good. The pedicure was very basic and not that great. read more

My gel manicure & pedicure are chipped in several places after just two days, and while getting the gel manicure, the curing lamp felt like it was burning my skin, which I've never experienced before in any gel manicure I've received. read more

Went here and paid $135 for a full set hard gel. They looked good but within 9 days 4 nails just popped right off from nothing . My nails with hard gel typically last 3+ weeks and never come completely off for no reason. For how much it was you'd think they'd at least make it two weeks read more
