I received a standard (non gel, non acrylic) mani pedi, and also added on a 'lavender treatment' in which they massaged/exfoliated/hydrated my legs and feet. This was done while I was in a standard massage chair. The space was clean and in a great location, and the staff were helpful and friendly; there's also a second level downstairs (with a clean, single stall restroom) with even more chairs (possibly for a bachelorette/group experience. The mani pedi was done in about an hour. The pedicure looked great, whereas the manicure wore off with little to no effort almost immediately. I did receive a brief complimentary shoulder massage while waiting for my nails to try. I am frustrated that before tip, I paid $120, which seems crazily overpriced for a mani/pedi/treatment combo, especially one that didn't last super long and wasn't incredibly precise (certain sides of my nails didn't have any polish on them). On the plus side, they seem to have 2 upright massage chairs, in which patrons can get a brief back/shoulder massage and even some chiropractor-esque massages. Either way, service was efficient, friendly, and they got me in last minute with no wait, in a clean, centrally-located salon, so I can't complain. read more

I came as a walk in to get hard-gel with extensions. The service was great, my technician put a lot of effort into preciseness and high quality of the work. Also got my eyebrows done, and that also came great. The prices are on the high side relative to what I've seen around the neighborhood, and that's after considering they had a 20% promotion - the services would have cost $140 (hard gel extensions +eyebrows) without the discount, and $112 with the discount). read more

Quite happy with the pedicure and callous removal that I had done here. The place was bright and clean, they were professional, and they took their time and did a great job. On the pricier side, but consistent with other NYC nail salons of this quality. Not sure about the bad experiences that other people have had, because my friend and I both had a positive one. read more

I stopped in really quickly for a regular mani with massage. It was about 44 dollars not including tip. The lady who did my manicure was very nice and attentive. She took her time to do my manicure. The massage was very nice as well. The only thing I would say is the actual quality of nail polish. It only lasted a couple days before chipping. I would come back with my own nail polish. read more

The worst worst worst worst manicure experience of my life. I went in at 4:10 for a powder gel manicure. It was over an hour of slow service before she even started painting my nails. Once she painted them, she put them under a handheld fan to dry, and she hit 6/10 of my fingers with the fan. At some point, another employee came over to redo them all. I was there for almost 2 hours and 30 minutes. For a manicure. And it's not even a good manicure. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! AND IT WAS $93!!!!!! read more

I got a standard Manipure pedicure. This was the worst experience of my life. My nails were chipping the same night and the pedicure was weak. She barely did anything. Same with the finder nails. I wanted to leave a lower tip as the tip is required in cash and the technician told me I must tip minimum 15%. That's ridiculous. She did a horrible job on my feet and hands. read more

This is, hands down, the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was fine -- less than average. But the gel manicure was the worst ever; several of my nails were entirely peeling off less than 24 hours later. I went back the next day and had them fix FOUR that were already in bad shape. They blamed it on their machines. Only a few more days later, the rest of my nails are peeling off too. They should have offered to redo my manicure entirely or at least refund me for what I had paid -- which was $120 after one of the employees "reminded" me (before I had paid, mind you) that tip was 20%. This place is a total rip-off and the employees don't care at all about the work that they do. All I wanted to do was treat myself in the new year with nice nails, and instead I have broken, peeled off gel nails less than a week later. They said "don't worry, we will fix for free." Yeah, obviously? I was here less than 24 hours ago and I only have six proper gel nails. Spare yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. And SOGO III, I hope you learn how to treat customers when you make as many mistakes as you did. read more

Best spa pedicure I've ever received. It is the most relaxing nail salon I've ever been to!

Zero stars if i could for attitude and inexperienced nail tech. I came in with 90 minutes to spare and I requested a mani pedi with 15 minute massage. The foot massage was such a disappointment- they did not dig in at all and i could barely feel it. The water wasnt hot enough and it was not relaxing at all. I looked down and could tell she was half assing it. She was extremely slow and took her sweet time on everything and by the time it was time to get color polish I had to just ask for a quick clear coat on both hands and feet. And at the end they quoted the same price as the full mani pedi even though I literally did not get color. I asked about it when going up to pay and they said rudely "same price!" And demanded a tip as well. Horrible experience, they could tell I was disappointed in the experience and still gave me really poor attitude. To top it all off, the CLEAR coat started peeling the next day. read more

I have never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I walked in asking for a standard gel French. I told the tech to not make my nails shorter, just to shape them and take a hair off the end. She filed then almost all the way down leaving barely any white, which is incompatible with a French manicure. The tech was incapable of drawing a white line and after trying numerous times one of her colleagues stepped in to try. The first tech told me she was "sick" which caused her to have shaky hands--my sister, who is in and out of the hospital for her daughter's health--became immediately upset at the risk of exposure, as was I. Why was a sick tech sitting so close and worrying on my hands?! I was in the chair almost a full hour (at least 45 minutes) before the whites of ONLY ONE hand were drawn. I took a look before putting my hand under the lamp--luckily--and it was so messy. My sister and friend, who I had come with, had LONG left to go sit at the nail drying station. I did not want to sit for another hour or more just to have these white lines drawn. I had also repeatedly offered that if French was too hard (which would also be crazy) I could just do a pink color. They insisted they could do it, which they could not. They even argued back when I suggested just having a normal pink manicure. Eventually the owner came over and agreed I could just pick a pink color. I walked over to choose a color and my friend and sister reminded me that I had the option to just have the base coat taken off so I could leave with them and not be stuck there another hour. I'd need the gel french coat of pale pink removed regardless to have a new one done. So I did opt to have my polish removed so we could just leave. The owner INSISTED that I pay the full manicure price--$22!! Which is also so expensive for a NY manicure which usually ranges 12-16--"because I'd had my nails filed." Even considering they filed so much as to ruin my nails and take away all of the length--against my instructions. I am absolutely shocked that after watching the experience and hearing what I had to say, they would not let me leave without paying. This is a new nail salon that we were so excited to try. We all live within a 5 minute walk. But we will not return and encourage everyone else to stay away!!! It is overpriced with nail techs who cannot even do a basic French manicure, as well as an owner who will force you to pay for zero service--even when your nails look worse than when you walked in. I recommend ANY other nail salon in New York. At least at a mediocre salon you leave with at least one thing done right. Not here. I do not leave many Yelp reviews, but really feel I have to warn you. read more
