DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We have a commercial office in Erlanger KY. They were asked to replace 5 door locks. 4/5 were replaced despite telling the technician to not do the 5th lock as we didn't have the key and he stated if he needed to break it it would cost more. The technician took it amongst themself to attempt to break the lock leaving our door frame damaged. They continued to charge me, for something they didn't do and they damaged. I called 4 days several times again and again to get the run around of someone will come, no one would show up and no communication back. Everytime i would have to contact them to get an answer. to the point of them putting my calls on hold and never answering me. We shut one of the office doors for the first time and to no surprise the door shut with a broken lock leaving us unable to access one of our offices. read more

On August 29th, 2025 I contacted this company to see if they could help with a locked cabinet at my place of employment in Reynoldsburg, OH. We lost the keys and needed into it. I spoke to a woman who said a technician would call me in 30 minutes to schedule. I had also reached out to another company and they were able to head to us before AA Locksmith called back. After about 15-20 minutes the call from AA came. I spoke to a man and he asked if it was an emergency service and if they could come out in an hour. I told him it wasn't an emergency, but that we already had another company on the way to help. I also told him that I appreciated the call back and would keep them in mind if we need anything in the future. That was the end of the call. 15 minutes later I started getting calls from the same person. Finally, on the 4th call I answered. He proceeded to tell me his technician had been looking for our address for an hour. I told him I didn't need the service. He proceeded to raise his voice at me, yell that he he just spoke to me 30 minutes ago, and that I never told him any of that. Then he hung up on me. THEN, proceeds to call me back after a few minutes and demands that I pay $30 for time and travel. I told him that I told him they didn't need to come and that I'm not paying anything! He said "these calls are recorded" and I said "Good! Go back and check what I told you then!" and hung up. They don't listen, will argue with you and yell at you on the phone, then have the audacity to be preditory and demand payment for service that you told them you didn't need. Not too mention they have no professionalism at all. I reached out to AA Locksmith LLC on August 17 to schedule a smart lock installation for my home. I was told a technician would arrive within two hours. Unfortunately, the technician never showed up. The next day, I called AA Locksmith to follow up and reschedule. They initially said they had no availability, but later that day, as I was heading out the door, I received a call saying a technician would arrive in 15 minutes. This was inconvenient but necessary because I had been trying to get the lock installed urgently. When the technician arrived, it was clear he did not know how to install the smart lock. I had previously installed the same model (a Yale Google smart lock) on my back door, so I could tell he was struggling. I suggested he refer to the instructions, which he did, and only then was able to proceed. I asked how long the installation would take, and he estimated less than an hour. Instead, it took over three hours. I had to leave for work and asked if he could come back to finish later, but he insisted I had to pay before he could leave, which felt sketchy since he asked for payment through Venmo. After the installation, the lock still did not work properly. I contacted AA Locksmith multiple times for support, but each time, they claimed they didn't have me in their system and would call me back--which never happened. When I eventually spoke to the owner, he yelled at me instead of offering any help. This experience was unprofessional and frustrating. I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to seek a refund and get a functioning smart lock. I would not recommend this company. read more

I like to give businesses 3 chances before crossing them off my list. AA Locksmith got 4 strikes the first time I used them. STRIKE ONE: My call was answered by someone who was obviously at a foreign call center. They barely spoke English and I had to repeat my address several times. Finally, they seemed to understand and told me a tech would be at my house within 30 minutes. STRIKE TWO: After 45 minutes, the tech called to verify my address. He'd been given the wrong street and the wrong city. He told me he'd be at my house in another 30 minutes. STRIKE THREE: After spending about 5 minutes to fix the issue, the tech charged me about $100 more than another locksmith had quoted. (I chose not to go with that one because I would have had a 3 hour wait.) When I complained, the tech said he was charging extra due to all the "bullsh*t" he went through to get to my house. How is it my fault that the call center gave him the wrong address? STRIKE FOUR: He kept calling me "Honey." So. If you want a locksmith who uses offshore call centers where the employees don't understand English, call these guys. If you want a locksmith who will charge YOU an extra $100 because the non-English speaking call center employees send them to the wrong place, call these guys. If you want a locksmith who will condescendingly refer to you as "Honey", call these guys. In other words: DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS. read more

He took lock apart and said he couldn't do it. Yelled on phone for 15 min. And didn't put lock back together. Kept getting hung up on with customer service. Called for days. Was told no refund coming. No manager to talk to. Worst service ever. Called someone else to put my lock back together properly. SCAM!!! read more

Avoid This Company - Unprofessional and Untrustworthy After a quick Google search, I made the unfortunate mistake of calling AA Locksmith to replace the front and back door locks on my home. I assumed they were a legitimate local business, but that assumption couldn't have been wrong. A quick look at their website reveals they have no physical location and remain completely anonymous, which should've been my first red flag. They sent out a technician who identified himself as being from Egypt. I wasn't home then, so my 90-year-old mother let him in. He replaced the locks, but failed to install the strike plates, leaving the doors improperly secured. I trusted him over the phone and paid $350, only to come home and find the job was incomplete. I attempted to contact the technician and the company for three weeks to return and finish the job. They refused to answer calls or return messages. I had no choice but to hire a certified locksmith with a physical location to complete the work correctly. This company is unprofessional, evasive, and completely unaccountable. Based on my experience, I seriously doubt they are licensed or certified locksmiths. Do not trust them with your home or your money. You deserve better. read more

I can not recommend their services. After walking my dogs I was locked out of my home. It's one of those doorknobs that should unlock when you turn it inside but sometimes it catches and it stays locked. I called AA for assistance. A very young guy named Eden came out. He is a nice kid but he didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. After a half hour I asked if I should be worried and he said not yet. I asked him if he'd had success before and he said he had seen this work successfully before. Not that HE had success but he had seen it. This along with him trying to open my door with something that looked like a credit card and bladder with the blood pressure squeeze thing, did not inspire confidence. By the time Eden arrived I had been locked out for 3 hours. So he tried the bladder thing with the credit card to no avail. He tried picking the lock. No success. Then he brought out tools that looked like a crowbar and went back to the bladder thing and credit card. By this time it's over an hour that Eden has been trying. I'm freaking out because it's been over 4 hours now. My short dog walk was during my lunch break and my dogs are thirsty. I told him I needed to get in my home, now. So he drilled the doorknob and got me in. I have only used a locksmith to switch out new locks. So I don't know if it's normal for a locksmith to take such a long time and be so unsuccessful that he needs to destroy my doorknob. So now I'm out $188 for the service and I have to buy another doorknob. I will not use them again and really regret calling. I called AA and asked to speak to a manager. I was told that Pavel would call me but he never did. Don't use AA, their locksmiths are not qualified and may end up destroying your doorknob. read more

They came into my house and began changing locks without discussing prices with me. Then concerned himself with my family's history until he decided to change the locks. Just for me to find out that he did not in fact, change the locks-- he created a hazard for me by changing my locks improperly to the point where the door would be ajar if they only pushed it open. On top of this when I called they took three weeks to come back and fix my lock, they used a google number, did not answer and told me that I could have fixed it myself when they arrived-- mind you, I am pregnant and that is something outside of my skill level. The worst locksmith in the area avoid this like hell. I spent two hours trying to get through to this guy and was met with sheer attitude. He took over two hours to get here without a lick of communication between that time. Being heavily pregnant as well, I had struggled to get to the door as he was banging on it so hard I thought he would break the door he was going to fix. I opened the door and was greeted with a "what" it was so rude and unprofessional. Asked me why I couldn't do it myself as I was thick and stupid. For this to be your job and to ask me why I couldn't do this myself as you tried shafting me with the price of nearly $600 for the whole service, you can shove the locks and all the door knobs right up your ass. read more

I had lost my keys at Kings Island and called AA Locksmith to come make me a key. He assured me he could make a key for a 2012 Camry. He arrives in the parking lot and makes a key but fob buttons don't work. He told me before he started that he could program the buttons no problem. He fed me some line of BS that the car needed to run for 20+ minutes before the buttons could be programmed. I drove the car for over 2 hours and I am still unable to program the buttons due to my Security light flashing. He basically disabled my security system so when the car is started it doesn't check for the chip in the key. He is refusing to come fix it. Don't use this company, he will rip you off read more
