Miguel showed up on time, and began pointing out a few issues with the exterior sewer line and some sketchy concrete cracks that could be causing the leak. After receiving their estimate, I hired them and got on their schedule. Both Miguel and Martine do not shy away from hard work! It was not an easy task but they worked methodically and got it done in a robust way. They discovered a sewer line that was completely blocked by clay and mud. Miguel and Martine also found a french drain in the basement that had been incorrectly installed by the previous homeowner. They pointed out that it was not allowing the water to drain into a sewer line which was causing additional problems. The french drain was removed and replaced with a couple of new sump pumps. They also scoped the sewer line. While inside the house, they protected their work space with painters plastic so as to prevent dust from traveling all over the house. At the end of each day, they lined up the buckets full of clay and dirt along a wall and kept their work area super clean. I was so impressed with these guys. I couldn't recommend a better team should you need a sump pump or sewer replaced. We now have a dry basement.

The agreement on the phone was $150 to do the diagnostic and it will be reimbursed back once we decide to go ahead to fix the problem. However, the technician Ben quoted us $700 for a 2 hour job. The break down costs was $180 for the parts and $520 for the labor. It is extremely expensive and I explained to Ben that to charge me more than $250 ($260) per hour for labor is not justified and he jacks up the price just because he's already there. In the mean time we already called another plumber who will do the same job for $500 including parts! Based on the principle not to use dishonest and opportunistic company, I decided just to pay him the diagnostic fees and sent him away even though I will have to wait and pay another Plumber to come out. Buyer beware!!! Dear business owner, I did not black mail Ben. I asked him to lower the price because it is unethical and is extremely high comparing to another licensed plumber. Regardless if I kept him for the project or not, I was gonna write this review for jacking up the price. You are not the only one at the mercy of inflation!!! That's why for Ben ( your company) to charge consumers/ customers high rate at current time is unreasonable! By the way, I asked Ben to drop the price from $700 to $ 600 which is not a massive drop! Why did I agree to the third appointment? Because the owner promised us a full refund PLUS $1000 if they didn't show for the last appointment. Despite them not showing for the last appointment, and sending me an email stating they would be sending me a check, it never showed up. I've tried calling, texting, and emailing them to resolve the issue, but they're definitely ignoring the problem. This was months ago, and to date, I've not received the service we paid for, received a refund, or even received a reply about the issue. We're now out hundreds of dollars, and I missed three full days of work for nothing.
