His professionalism and promptness truly make a difference, and we appreciate your recommendation for our plumbing services. - Randy & The Plumbing Joint Family Cel Gatdula 1 review·12 photos 19 hours ago New BEWARE to take pictures before and after the work to be performed by this company to avoid story twisting when something goes wrong. This company was contracted by the condo HOA thru the Property management May 8 2024 for jetting services on the entire first floor of our building. At the time supervisor LT brought an apprentice Trevor and left him to do the work while he works on another unit across. Trevor goofed by disconnecting a hose and flooded the kitchen on final testing. My tenant is the one who noticed bec he did not know it flooded due to protective gears he's wearing and only paid attention to the bucket he was filling. Incident escalated and summoned LT from what he's doing, and the property management was contacted while damage is underway. Plumbing Joint did not pay anything for the damage because LT twisted his story and it was conveniently used by the Plumbing Joint to AVOID responsibility. LT's story implied that the disconnected hose was done on purpose by unit occupant and that tenant did not clear the path under the sink never mentioned in his story that he left his trainee (Trevor) to do the work unsupervised. Property Management downplayed the flooding incident also but arranged for mitigation same day which resulted to cutting and opening infected dry walls. Mitigation process took a week and a half to complete and cost the condo HOA $2,400 and my out of pocket cost of $2,500 to repair the damage which took six (6) months to find someone to fix the damaged areas. Insurance claim went all the way to intercompany arbitration but because it was labelled he say/she says so the company avoided paying. I will never let anyone from this company do work in any property of mine even ongoing maintenance contract via the Property Management or HOA unless one or the other signs off on pre-work condition. I will give this company minus -1 star if I could. This company's sorry excuse for "customer service" inspired me to write this review. STEER CLEAR

    Sewage spill

Original customer service on the phone was great. Friendly and helpful. Unfortunately....We just had someone out to empty our septic tank. Our appointment was at 4pm. When I scheduled I was very clear that I wouldn't be home until 4pm. They showed up almost an hour early which meant I wasn't home and my husband had to leave in the middle of a meeting to help them. The cost ended up being $880 when we were qouted $699. The mess that was left behind was outrageous and disgusting. One of our dogs immediately rolled in it, which was even more disgusting. Very very disappointed in The Plumbing Joint and will definitely go elsewhere next time.

I wish I would have read the reviews before hiring The Joint Plumbing. I am very disappointed not only by the quality of service, but the lack of responsiveness, and manner of professionalism. Attached photos to show the poor quality of work. STAY AWAY!!!! I hired Joint Plumbing to install a whole home water filtration system. They came to my home, took off twice for materials and still left a pile of garbage that needed to be torn out and installed by professionals (see attached). They did not mount the filtration system to the wall and left the main water line dangling flimsy in place. The very next day, they sent a "Leave a review for $$" email, no wonder they have any 4-5 star reviews at all. STAY AWAY!

Metal bar spiked into generator pad

I recently had a whole-house generator installed. The Plumbing Joint Inc. was the sub-contractor for the gas piping to the generator. Because they were the sub-contractor, I had no contact with the office, customer service, or any staff other than the plumbing Technician (and a "trainee") they sent out to do the work. The job involved running gas piping through the crawl space, penetrating out through the wall of the house, dropping down into a pre-dug 2ft trench that went out around behind the generator, then coming up and connecting into the back of generator. When the Technician "finished" the job and left, I had numerous issues with what he had done. I contacted my Project Manager, who contacted The Plumbing Joint Inc, who then sent out the same Technician who had created all the problems in the first place. I had hoped they would send out a different, more qualified Technician to make the corrections - after all, the original guy thought he had done it "right" the first time, so why would the company think he would be capable of even identifying let alone fixing these problems ??? Wanting to be fair, I had my Project Manager, a general contractor neighbor, and my own plumber come over and look at the situation prior to this second visit. All agreed that it may functionally work to deliver gas to the generator, but overall the job was unacceptable. The Technician returned for the 2nd visit, and I pointed out all the issues that had been identified. For each item listed he blamed the "trainee" for having done the work. After 1.5 hours, the Technician said he needed to order another "part," and would schedule to come back for a 3rd time. After he left, I discovered that he had spent the time digging under the corner of the generator and undermining the pad. I later discovered the damage done to the new insulation in the crawl space. At this point I decided to cancel any further work on my property by The Plumbing Joint Inc. Instead, I had my own plumber make the corrections/repairs, and re-do the gas piping in the trench from the house to the generator. My list of issues: Cut the strings and tore down parts of the NEW overhead fiberglass insulation in the crawl space Knocked the foam sleeves off of water lines in the crawl space Failed to paint exposed black iron (=rust) Trapped my garden hose behind the gas pipe Gas pipe was expected to exit the house and run parallel to the already installed electrical line - it did not Metal bar spiked into the corner of the generator pad, potentially weakening the integrity of the pad Large wad of tracer wire left wound around the pipe above ground Rather than follow the existing trench, dug under the corner of the generator and undermined the pad by 7" Piled the dirt from his digging up on the pad and up against the side of the generator Did not caulk any of the wall penetrations PHOTOS: 1. Once Ryan arrived, he was extremely helpful and clearly determined to resolve the slow drain in our kitchen. He walked us through a few possible approaches and immediately got to work. After some diligent effort using a drain snake followed by his high‑powered water flushing equipment, the clog was finally cleared. Ryan also took the time to leave us with helpful tips on how to prevent future buildup, especially regarding cooking oils that had hardened inside the pipes. That extra guidance was much appreciated. Beyond his technical skills, Ryan was personable, friendly, and professional. In this day and age, it can feel worrisome inviting someone into your home--but Ryan is someone I'd gladly invite back for a cookout anytime. Overall, the service was fast, efficient, straight to the point, and fairly priced compared to the competition. I highly recommend Ryan and "I Need a Plumber Now!" An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

He scheduled a follow-up visit once he had the parts, and because he had been here before, he knew exactly where our main line was located and shut it off quickly and safely. For us, that would have been a huge headache -- the shutoff is far from the house and mixed in with other homes in our small community. He went above and beyond, pointing out that the chalky dust on our fridge was likely from a bad water filter, and when turning the main line back on, he noticed and showed us a separate leak. That will be another (bigger) project outside of Washington Water Heaters, but I was amazed by his knowledge, thoroughness, and professionalism. On top of all that, Ryan was extremely friendly and kind with our three-year-old, which made the experience even better. We were so impressed with his skill, attentiveness, and genuine care. Highly recommended!
