The team at A2B, which included 3 movers Bob, Alex, and another guy named Alex, were great. They accommodated me when I called one day prior my move out date to get things out of my old apartment. They also called me the next morning to let me know when they'd arrive. They always communicated with me, and informed me of what they were going to do and asked where things would go. They had the horrible task of going up and down 2 flights of stairs at my old apartment and then one flight narrow flight of stairs at my new apartment and never wavered in their care of my items. VS and Kerry kept me informed on their ETA via messages which was great. I had a last second change of plans (had to move stuff in locker rather than the new apartment) and they were totally cool with that, just gave them the new address and it was done. They wrapped up everything and were very careful on moving my stuff. I packed up all my small items and the moving team disassembled and moved all the big furniture in a timely manner. This was a very good experience. The quote was given to me very promptly through the Yelp site. Even though the original date I had requested was full (a Saturday) - they were able to put me on the next day (Sunday). This was a huge help to me so that I didn't have to move on a week day! On the day of the move, I was called as they were on their way. They took care packing the glass for me (my table tops and TV stand are glass) and provided the wardrobe boxes. Armando and his team (I didn't get the other names) were very efficient throughout the process. We needed to drop off a mattress and pick up a chair from my mom's place, which was on the way. Steph and his crew (Anton, Andrew and Sergei) are the BEST! They loaded all contents of our (2) storage units in the truck like a well oiled machined. It was like watching a game of Tetris. They literally used up all available space on the truck. This team is very professional! Items that you didn't think needed to be wrapped or packaged they took the liberty to do. They wrapped glassware that were in storage containers. They wrapped our mattresses and box springs. WOW!! The team worked hard from 9:45a to 6:30pm on Sunday and didnt even slow down during the heat. THIS TEAM ROCKS!! I was always kept in the loop on their progress. I will use them if I ever move again. I messaged them on Feb 10th for a Feb 12th move, and they were available and competitively priced. We were really happy with them-- they helped us pack the remainder of our stuff (though they were a bit too productive, and we had to dig for my purse in one of the wardrobe boxes). All in all, Sergei and his team were really great. They moved several large mirrors, a fair amount of delicate electronics, and even our fine china. Nothing was broken at the end. We'd definitely use them again! One teammate doesn't speak English very well, but still took direction really well, and was really good at packing things securely. They are expensive but they were really good and hard working. It took them 5 hours for 3 men to move my one bedroom from one floor to another, but I did had of lot of stuff and they didn't stop once. They lifted super heavy things and disassembled and reassembled stuff for me. Of of the guys left my bowflex weights holding open the service elevator door, and someone in my building thought it was trash and took it. They were ready to buy me a replacement which would cost $250, but thankfully the neighbor returned it after I left notes on everybody's doors. Thank you! read more

These guys are nothing short of stellar and phenomenal! I've used them twice. This time I had Dennis and his team of guys. Dennis is smart, educated, ambitious, knowledgeable, concise and clear. He is reasonable to work with. He listened to everything I said. He explained to me all of the paperwork and time estimate for the move. I had one bedroom house with a piano. I even had an additional request to dispose of extra furniture and Dennis was on it quick to make that happen. He truly deserves a raise and a promotion. Once everything was sorted, the guys were quick about wrapping my furniture in blankets, cellophane, and tape. They even moved my piano without any incident! They were good with setting up my furniture even as they were getting hungry for lunch. As a single woman in the Bay Area, I can truly attest that I felt safe and comfortable around Dennis and his team. They wore masks and followed me to my new location - in other words, they didn't steal my stuff. They were 100% respectful. VS and Kiril were wonderful - friendly, fast, and efficient. They kept us informed of their ETA, let us know of any (minor) damages, and packed everything as safely as possible. Everything was done within 3.5 hours (1 bedroom) despite our new place being on the 5th floor and having to wait for an elevator. We were charged only those 3.5 hours + $40 fuel surcharge. I filled out the form online. Someone from their company called me right away to discuss logistics and pricing. They do not charge a cancellation fee which was good because we ended up having to change the date of the move twice. Each time I had to change they were super helpful. The day of the move was great - they showed up on time and worked very hard all day. All four movers handled our items respectfully and were courteous. It seems like we end up moving at least once a year, whether we like it or not, and every single time we dread the actual moving process. After going through the process of moving by ourselves, and then going through a few poor moving company choices, I think we've found one of the what options in the Bay Area! We reached out to Jeff from A2B online and he got back to us quickly and the process of planning our date for the move was painless. We got emails confirming the date and time and we felt like we were in good hands. On the morning of our move, we had VS and Kerry come by for our appointment. It was set up to be between 8 and 830 and they ended up showing up a few minutes early so we could show them to our apartment and the moving elevator. We were up on the fourth floor and had a a long walk to the elevator from our apartment. We had two rooms of stuff, but had boxed everything and moved all the small items already. We had been given an estimate of 5 hours. The combination of us being prepared, with their hard work got the job done in three hours. All the time, they were very careful with our things and nothing was damaged. This was a great experience and I would recommend A2B for anyone doing a move in the South Bay Area as well! read more

Macias and Ryel helped pack and Vadim was our trusted driver that helped unpack (with additional movers who's names are escaping me). Not one thing was broken, they made sure to wrap every piece of furniture and help pack loose items. They took their time and ensured neither our furniture (lots of heirloom antiques) nor our floors & doorways were scratched in the process. We hired A2B Movers during our move on December 2020. I honestly didn't think we had much left to do as I needed movers to help pack the "big" stuff, like beds, dressers, etc. We lived in a 3-story home at the time and a few hours turned into a whole day. I have to say, they packed everything really well.. wrapped everything, re-assembled and even put things in our new home where we needed it. I was concerned about our Peloton bike the most, as I've heard some other people had a bad experience with movers cracking the screen. Glad to say, the Peloton bike was in perfect condition. We went with A2B because of the fast, courteous response to our inquiry. Their quote came in between $50 and $90 LOWER than any of their competition. We used the Yelp $50 savings voucher as well. Overall we saved more than $200 from a previous move with the same amount of furniture. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided by Nick online to set everything up. Then the two gentlemen who moved us, VS and Kerry were fantastic! They were very professional, courteous and helpful. Everything was packed meticulously and no damage was done. One item that needed attention, an Ikea tv stand, became wobbly in the move and the guys worked to tighten and make it as good as new. THANK YOU.
