I finally called around, and this was the only place open late and nearby--and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the experience was amazing. Raymond went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even had me try on shoes to ensure the length was exactly right, which I really appreciated. I originally asked if they could be ready by Friday (my ceremony was Saturday), but when I called to see if Thursday was possible, he made it happen without hesitation. The pants turned out perfectly hemmed--exactly what I needed for such an important day. The attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work here are top-notch. I'm incredibly grateful and will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for expert tailoring and great service!

I'll definitely be coming back for any future alterations!

In short, some of the sales persons are better and some are worse. I got stuck with a worse one, unfortunately. The prices seem to be fair, but really only if you are able to take advantage of the "Buy one get three free sales." I entered the store asking about tuxedos. I was shown a tuxedo that my fiancé liked and we purchased 3 of them (one for me and two for my groomsmen). I also picked out a suit of equal value given the buy 1 suit, get 3 free deal that was going on. I gave them the required measurements and I was advised that they would order the suits and we would then have to be fitted. I later called to follow-up and was told that they do not carry that suit in my size, a 46 long, which, as far as I understand, is not a weird size. I then went in for another look at tuxedos and was forced to pick one that was less desirable, and was subsequently cheaper, however, because I picked one of the free suits at equal price to the first tuxedos, I did not qualify for a price reduction. It appeared that they only had two types of tuxedos. Come to find out, while my future father-in-law was getting fitted at a Joseph A. Banks Tuxedo specialty store, that the location I was buying from had not sold me tuxedos, they sold me suits from their High-end line (That kind of look like tuxedos). My future father-in-law had the Tuxedo place look up my order, so that he could get a matching Tuxedo, however, they discovered that I was not buying tuxedos for my wedding. In retrospect, it feels like this location downtown did this simply to get a sale from me, a customer depending on their expertise. Since I purchased the suits, the location has instructed me several times that suits would be available for pick-up on certain days after they were tailored (over $200.00 additional in charges). Each time, I was told that the suits would be ready, they weren't. One of the "tuxedos" still doesn't fit one of my groomsmen, but they sent him home with it today anyway stating "I guess that's just how it fits" Clearly the prices are structured such that you would only purchase this quality of suits if you were able to get 3 more for "free."

After searching around the city, my fiancée and I came across Cuffs & Collars. We had a brief meeting with one of the two brothers who run the shop, and afterward, we decided to go with them. The plan was simple: I'd collect the measurements from my groomsmen, who were scattered around the country, and the shop would handle the sizing, claiming the tuxedos were "custom from Italy." While technically rentals, I was told the tuxes were new, could be tailored to fit each guy, and Italian-made--exactly what they advertise. This is where things started to go downhill. Communication was difficult from the start, and out of everything involved in planning the wedding, the tuxedos turned out to be the most stressful part. I paid for half of them upfront. When I went to pick them up a while later, the jackets were correct--but the pants were completely wrong. They looked like basic suit pants, not the formal tuxedo style we had discussed. I immediately asked for them to be swapped out, as the wedding was getting close and I needed to ship everything to the groomsmen so they could tailor them as needed. Eventually, I received the "new" pants--only to realize they were the same pants with the strip of satin added. Worse, they were absurdly long--clearly designed for someone who is in the NBA. This required significant alterations. A few of the tuxedos were completely mismatched. Instead of using the measurements I provided, the shop had simply matched jacket sizes to corresponding pants sizes--ignoring the fact that everyone's build is different. When we asked for replacements due to these errors, we were charged full price again, despite the fact that the mistakes were theirs. It was during one of these exchanges that I discovered the tuxedos weren't made in Italy at all--they were made in China. I felt misled. I was sold on high-quality, Italian-made tuxedos, and that's not what we received. Ultimately, we made it work. The tailor we used did an ok job with what he had, and my wife said I looked great. But if you're considering using this shop, I'd strongly recommend double-checking exactly what you're getting--especially if you're being promised something "custom" or "Italian."

For $35 I got an amazing glittery shiny sparkly prom dress for my prom theme birthday party! Went here emergency dress shopping 2 days before my birthday after having decided to have a theme party at the last minute and ordered some dresses online but not being sure if/how anything would fit, so wanted to have a backup just in case. We got there around 8:15 and they close at 9 so it was seriously a mad rush! I had to deploy the hubs to divide and conquer and browse the racks - which I have to say they definitely had a LOT of dresses, so no lack of choices! We both searched and picked up a few dresses. I tried them all on and finally selected the one dress which turns out the hubs had picked out - great find!! We were the last to checkout. They almost took all my stuff out of the dressing room while I was showing my dress to the hubs outside. I had to rescue all the clothes - whew! Anyway I got a fantastic deal - so pleased, fit me perfectly and I wore it for my birthday and got lots of compliments! Service was good. I used a store gift card and I still had money left to spare on it! We parked in a garage nearby using SpotHero., wasn't too expensive. Easy walk. I like Macy's and I'm glad this store is still around!

Then those boys ran past and up the escalators and I told another employee who might have been Latina Told her to call SECURITY and she said that's not my department and laughed.! Frustrated with the lack of respect for MACYS I WENT UPSTAIRS AND ASKED FOR A MANAGER...I was directed to one in the Shoe Dept walking named REBECCA WHOM I EXPLAINED WHAT I NOTICED! She was sympathetic and said she will handle it. She asked me for my number if I wanted a follow up and gave it to her! I said if it was up to me those two uncaring employees should be FIRED! They just lacked the loyalty MACYS DESERVE! I hope that MANAGER REBECCA DOES THE PROPER OUTCOME! She was very concerned and understanding of my complaint! When employees do nothing to look out for the stores best interests then they should go elsewhere and not tarnish the reputation of MACYS! I'm am totally upset that two women and they are not young adults that did NOTHING AFTER I ASKED TO CALL SECURITY! Shame on those two uncaring employees! It happened around 3:15 pm 5/22
