Absolutely incredible birthday cake for our 8 year old! The staff was super pleasant to work with and the cake was sooooo moist and tasty without being overly sweet! We all enjoyed it very much!

THE BEST! My wife and i ordered our wedding cake from here, and it was soo hard to wait until the day to eat it! we picked it up Thursday, drove 3 hours, and put it in the fridge until Saturday at 3. we cut it at 5 and it was still perfect, cold fondant, and MOIST AF!! 10/10 would recommend!! the ladies were so nice and communication for months was prompt and on point! what a way to run a business ladies!!!! well done.

    Upham Hall Arch Grooms cake

We just had two cakes made and were super happy with both. The first was for a Miami college graduation. They made a wonderful football field, and we added the cheerleader figure. The second cake was even more spectacular. This was a grooms cake for a Miami merger. We gave them the idea of doing the Upham Hall arch and seal. They delivered a truly outstanding work of art!! Also the flavors were amazing! One was white chocolate with raspberry filling and the second was their strawberry cake. You all delivered for sure!! Thank you very much. They also did their wedding cake which was also delicious!!

8" white cake with butter cream icing- amazing!

We have recently moved to the Cincinnati area and have been looking for our "go to" bakery for birthday cakes. My wife's fave is a white cake with butter cream icing, and A Spoon Fulla Sugar did not disappoint! It was amazing! We found our "go to"!

Best cake I've ever had! I found A Spoon Fulla Sugar searching local bakeries online and was disappointed that even though they were right down the street from me, I had not heard of them before (having driven past them for many years). I needed a cake for a friend's birthday so I gave them a try. I was not disappointed. I went in planning to order one cake (banana flavored w/ strawberry filling and a buttercream icing) but left ordering a second one also (white w/ white chocolate mousse filling and buttercream icing) for the party. The woman that took my order was very helpful in guiding me through the options and designs for my cakes. Their website was also a great help in getting ideas for cakes. The cakes did not only look great but they were delicious! Everyone at the party loved them and many were asking where I got them. The cakes were moist and the icing was extremetly smooth. Like I said earlier, it was the best cake I ever had. Although this was my first time ordering from them, it certainly won't be my last. When I picked up my order I noticed an announcement that they are changing their hours to "by appointment" which their website did not look like it was updated with the new hours policy. I would suggest calling first before you go over.

We had A Spoon Fulla Sugar make our wedding cake and cupcakes and I cannot express enough how wonderful they were to work with and the cake was beyond delicious!! As well as beautiful!! I had called several bakeries but after speaking with Tori I was sold!! The sweetest gal ever. Thank you for being a part of our special day with the best wedding cake and cupcakes ever! You exceeded our expectations!

Made our daughters 2nd birthday perfect! Not only did they go above and beyond to bring this cake vision to life from only an email, the cake was absolutely delicious too! I will be using A Spoon Fulla Sugar for all our special birthday occasions moving forward! Thank you!

We loved our son's 1st birthday cake. The Mickey Mouse decoration was so pretty and classic, and the white cake/raspberry jelly filling was delightful (not too sweet.) Thank you for such a beautiful addition to the party!!

The staff have always been lovely, but honestly, it's the sweets and brunch that keep me coming back! They always have seasonal treats and cakes rotating throughout the year, so there's usually something different to try each time. Their cookies are almost too pretty to eat because they're individually piped by hand, which is seriously impressive. They are definitely on the sweeter side, so don't expect a subtle sugar cookie, but they're perfect when you're in the mood to treat yourself. My personal recommendation is the small button cookies. They're so cute, creamy, and pair really well with their teas, especially since the tea helps balance out the sweetness. The sugar cookies have more of a firm, stiff texture, so I personally prefer the button cookies. Their brunch is delicious too, although the wait can be a little longer at times. If you want the full tea-room experience, I highly recommend making a reservation since that's usually where you'll get the multi-tiered tray filled with an assortment of sweets and savory mini sandwiches. It's definitely more of an experience than just grabbing a quick bite. The cafe itself is adorable and has cute decorations throughout, with a separate back area dedicated to takeout sweets. It makes the whole place feel like a little dessert wonderland, especially when they have their seasonal decorations up. Overall, this is definitely somewhere I'd recommend trying at least once. Whether you're coming for brunch, afternoon tea, seasonal sweets, or just looking for a cute spot to catch up with the girls, there's always something fun to eat--and something new to discover on your next visit!

It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
