It wasn't just that his price was fair, they had re-sided a co-worker's home ~11 years prior and their name was listed in his stack of references. I spoke to my co-worker and they STILL had good things to say about Gino and Lifetime. In addition, the company is Hardieplank Elite Preferred installer, meaning they were up to date on any installation best practices and that was important to me. Unlike all of the other bids, there was no pressure. Gino was easy to work with, extremely responsive, meticulous attention to detail. No overselling or "the sky is falling" behavior. No eye rolling or treating me like I was a PIB at the end when some little painting details needed extra attention. Was very respectful of me as a woman. No weirdness or disconnect from his team. Everyone was on the same page. And his team are direct employees of Lifetime ... for many multiple of years. This latter point spoke volumes to me. His employees were superlative workers who were VERY careful about picking up debris, daily check-ins, keeping an eye out for my dog's safety, etc. They were on time, in budget and did great work with everyone being super professional. I will definitely hire Gino in the future for other projects. It was such a relief to have real people with a true business ethic not just working on, but taking care of my home. Thank you Gino!

Our house is not small being 2700+ square feet and while winter isn't the best time for having holes in your house, the guys were quick and professional. The final painting had to be held off until the weather warmed up, but as soon as the sun came back so did they. I had great help in picking our final house colors as well. I was in contact with the main contractor the whole time and the same great group of guys did it all; siding, windows and painting. After 3 different bids, Lifetime was right in the middle but at the end they gave us a top dollar experience.

They showed up. They put in an egress window in my basement. It looked good at first but on closer…read moreinspection over the course of the last two years its clear they don't really know what they're doing. Had a structural engineer tell me they didn't put a header on. If I hadn't gotten that inspection there could have been serious structural issues in the future. As a result of that inspection I had to undo some of the window casing they put on, which I specifically asked them not to do. The casing was cheap plastic material that they glued on. I had to cut it off with a Dremel. Lastly the wall of the lightwell they put in is already cracking after less than 2 years. I wouldn't trust these guys to fix it even if they offered to.

Now I have a shower that doesn't meet my needs as a disabled person. On the other hand, they showed up reliably and did the main job. Working with contractors in this town has been on the scale of disappointing to a total nightmare. These guys were on the disappointing end. I felt a bit duped and cheated. I have to use the thing they renovated daily and the fact that it's not how I asked them to do it makes it physically difficult for me daily. All this despite paying more than we originally agreed (they added costs midway through, the point at which I had to agree in order to finish the job). I've had to have others come in and correct what they could, but the main problems with the work can't be fixed unless I pay another ten grand to have it all re-done. Initially I was happy to have someone show up reliably and work (that's how sad it is trying to get contractors here) but as time goes on I regret not being more dramatic about my feedback for them along the way, because they didn't listen to me as it was and I basically wasted my extremely limited funds on an incorrect job that I can't afford to fix in my remaining life.

He scheduled and coordinated all the work, ensured every little detail was taken care of, communicated with us clearly and effectively, and immediately rectified any minor issues that came up.
