Surprised that no one has left a review or even added this business. This is literally the hidden Ancient Chinese secret that no one else knows about except everyone who is asian and their parents. Okay, enough of that. I've been going to this shop for maybe 4-5 years now getting oil changes. I'm not sure who the owner is, but one of the main mechanics there (his name is Andrew) is very honest, straight forward, and always does a great job. We've had all 4 vehicles serviced and inspected there (3 Camrys, 1 Prius). Most auto shops or auto centers always give me the run about my car saying that there needs to be work done here or work done there. Andrew, has always been honest and upfront and the best part is, he explains thoroughly the work, the procedures, but also the real cost of what it would take to do car maintenance. This is true car service at its finest. I'd recommend anyone planning to get an oil change to try this place out. Usually for a change in synthetic oil should always be roughly about $40. That price from all the years I've been there has never fluctuated and it's always nice to have him be able to let me know what work might need to be done in the future and that's what I've always appreciated. There's no "this needs to be fixed" or "that pump or valve will go out soon" because this business is pretty upfront and very honest about the things they do. read more

The mechanic was very skilled; he didn't over-repair or replace parts, only performing necessary repairs, and quickly resolved the issue of my vehicle leaking antifreeze. The fees are also reasonable. read more

It's not a fancy place, but they are nice, down-to-earth mechanics whom my family has known for 15+ years. They give you their honest opinion. read more

Honest Mechanic, fair prices and great advice. Dino advised me on what to do with my older Mitsubishi. Changed my valve cover gaskets and O2 sensor for a fair price. This is my new mechanic and would highly recommend! read more

I have gave this place business several times and usually no one is in the office, as they are busy in the shop. I get that, which why they have a bell at the front desk. I walked in today and Rand the bell twice. A lady was parking as I came in and rang the bell a few minutes after me. Mind you, I was waiting for about 5 mins and then the guy came from the back and started helping her while I have been waiting for a while. They carried on a conversation in their language like I was not even there! Seems like they now only want to do business with their "own ethnicity" which is very unwelcoming and racist if you ask me. I will NEVER do business with them again. read more

End of last month, I got into a front bumper accident and came here without full coverage. Paid everything out of pocket. Mr.Kang estimated the cost here at A+ after checking my car and also informed me how much it would cost me at the dealership. I did not just take his words; I actually went to the Toyota dealership and had a quick chat with the Body shop expert. Turns out Mr. Kang really knew how much the dealership body shop would cost me. (It's was like 4k lower than my car's market price) So I went back and had my car repaired there at A+ and Mr.Kang did a great job and the price was very reasonable! read more

Don't be turned off by the lack of service at the front desk. It's because they are working on other people's cars. If you don't have insurance coverage for your car then use this one. The body shop is just as good as the big companies but a lot cheaper. The oil change is one of the reason why I drive 20 miles. The price is outstanding and they don't try to recommend you other unnecessary service. read more

Service is A+ price is A+ people is A+. We like to have our car taking care in A+. This time we need to change four tries, and they asked us to compare price first, because they want to have better deal for their customer. I don't think you can find the honest and reasonable auto shop in this area. read more

Whenever I bring in my Civics to Andrew, he makes sure to give me honest assessment of what I actually need and the price is more than reasonable! I recently brought in my 2007 Civic when my door lock stopped working suddenly and he replaced the adjustor for a very reasonable cost. I brought in that same Civic when the AC was not working and he found it was just a loose connector. I have my inspections, oil change, and regular maintenance brought here when I need it and also when unexpected repairs come up because it is trustworthy, fair, and quick! read more

The phone number listed doesn't work. I Googled, and after several tries finally got through & spoke with ACS at 972-578-6679. Tucked away from the main streets (it's on Millard Dr by 14th Street), these mechanics has always been honest with the current condition of my car. Oil change is relatively cheap. I didn't take note, but all prices are including taxes. Beats the prices of major places like NTB, Firestone, etc. Not going to lie, the waiting area is not fancy. No teevee or free coffee. At least you know part of your money is used to pay for the coffee and magazines. I recently upgraded from a '97 Camry to a '12 Corolla. I bought it used at 36700 miles. I was not aware of the 30 60 90 k miles guidelines of transmission fluid change advised, and of course, it wasn't done when the I got the car. Here, I got my transmission fluid changed, a/c and air filter changed for good price. Happy! Would most definitely head over here for my regular oil change. Last but not least, they have older nice looking Civics, Corolla & Camry for sale. Kind of made me wish I didn't rush into that auto loan. Give them a shot! (I know mechanics can be such a pain) read more

I was aware of this business in my neighborhood and always wanted to stop by because I had heard they really did good work. I got my chance yesterday as i need a headlight bulb replaced quickly for a trip out of town. They replaced the bulb in about 30 minutes and clear a nagging engine check light. I greatly appreciate the work they performed and will be using this business for all future work on my car and truck. Thank you guys so much!!! read more

This is an honest group of mechanics. I have been going to them for years, and they have had many opportunities to overcharge or do unnecessary work, but every single time I go there I get honest pricing and only necessary repairs. I am a regular customer and will continue to be one. I even drive all the way from my home near Stonebriar Mall to do business with A+ in East Plano. read more

I used to drive from Fort Worth and come here to have my car repaired years ago；and they used to do a good job. It's worth my gas money. Ever since they hired tons of new workers to work on your car.... the quality was not as good as it used to be anymore :/ read more

I had a problem with my door handles on my HHR Chevy. Both sides broke at different times and I had the drivers' side fixed at the dealership for over $300. A + Motor Bay fixed the passenger side for around $180. Same part, same car. I took it to another mechanic the first time and he wouldn't touch the job period. He is a competent mechanic and a friend. A+ Motor Bay fixed it without batting an eye. Andrew gives you a price and that is it. read more

Horrible experience, I bought an used part (windshield wiper) for them to replace, their mechanics lied to me saying the parts I bought does not fit my car and refused to install the parts AFTER they already charged me in full. I went back home and spent few hours on YouTube and installed the parts myself. They refused to refund me the money and I had to get my money back via credit card company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. read more

It Wasn't a nice transaction. Will avoid this shop at all cost , very disappointed , he wanted me change the break pad and was lying to me and told me they are 85% worn out, when I went to another shop they told me they are only 40% torn out and there is no need to change them, they tried to cheat me read more

I have used A Plus Motor Bay for more than five years and I am very satisfied with them. Their service are good quality and economic. Unlike many car shops, they don't solicit you to make unnecessary repair. read more

Excellent customer service. Reasonable price and honest. This is the only place i come get my car serviced. Before every place I have been to would either suggest all these extra unnecessary things to be done to my car or charge me some ridiculous amount for their service or use sub par parts on my car. A plus motor bay will ask you first off if you want manufacturers parts to replace brakes and such or if you want to save a little, they will bet upfront and give you price difference. Every person I have recommended to here has been pleased. Highly recommend them! read more

Excellent customer service. Reasonable price and honest. (Thanks Elaine) Could not have said it better myself. I have had both auto and body done at the shop and they take care of you in both ways. This is a one-stop shop and they speak both Cantonese and Mandarin as well as English so if you need help in that area, they got you covered. read more

I work at the company next door to this company. I have been using these guys for years. I took them my car keys this morning- they came scooped my car up. I let them know my air is not blowing cold and oil needs changed. By lunch my car was blowing super cold air and car running good as new! These guys are super polite and NEVER try to sale us things I don't need. Thanks! I actually had to turn my air down!! First time in 2 yrs! They're AWESOME read more

I have used this shop for 10 years across 4 different cars. I recently brought my 2011 MB C63 AMG there to have what the dealership quoted to be almost 1700 dollars worth of work(spark plugs, brake flush, suspension link). They completed all this in a single day for only 461 dollars. These guys are consistently cheaper and of higher quality than anyone else in the car repair business! read more

If you want a decorator showroom and tidy uniformed mechanics don't go there! But if you want a crew that is absolutely trustworthy and honest, this is the right mechanic. They will not charge you $$$ to tell you nothing is really worng with your car, either. If it's basically a rattle, that's what you hear from their lips. If it's going to cost you $$ and the fix is nice but absolutely necessary, they will ask whether you want to keep the car for a period of time, or just save your money and use it toward another car in the future. We have now gone to them for about 6 years and have NEVER been decieved. When we needed a special part, they tried till they got it, and did not overcharge us. We've referred countless friends to them, and they have never complained they were inept or unreasonable about anything. They've thanked us for helping them find a great set of mechanics and have then told others. Honest. They are HONEST! read more
