The owners are exceptional. It's far from our place, but we make an effort to go there. One of the owners really knows her stuff. She took her time to explain the different products to us without being pushy. They are clearly knowledgeable and passionate about clean living for animals. We buy chicken chips and lamb's lungs there. Our puppy goes nuts for these treats! read more

I always say that this place is like Vitamin Cottage (Natural Grocers) for pets- with fun toys, enrichment tools, and necessities! Everything here is super high quality, from food to toys- so I don't have to spend an hour just reading ingredients before I make a purchase. Because of the high quality, it isn't cheap, but also not incredibly expensive! I think it's very fairly priced for what you get . They have put a lot of thought into each and every item that they carry, and the staff are incredibly helpful and well educated. Lots of cool unique finds- it's always been my go to for gifts for pet owners who have everything, and they have always been wowed. Now I shop their for my very own fur babies! I was very hopeful about this store. I went in, and immediately thought that this was going to be my new pet store. I left feeling like I had just been dealing with used car salesmen. The people, although polite enough, really didn't know what they were talking about. They tried to sell me various items, insisting that they were safe for my puppy, that were not safe at all. They also tried to guilt me into changing food choices because they no longer carry the brand that I use due to their own issues with pricing. I researched their claims that the maker of the food drastically changed their ingredients to make their food cheaper (In order to give a price reduction to Petsmart), and there was no merit in this whatsoever. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Petsmart purchases in much higher quantities and therefore receives lower prices. I like a lot of the items that they sell, the premise of the store and that they were reasonably priced, but I have a hard time supporting a store where the employees can (and will) take advantage of new/undereducated pet owners to sell products. If you are going to go here, just make sure you've done your research ahead of time and don't be pressured into purchasing things that aren't right for your pet. This place is so wholesome. The people that run it are so quick to help and see pictures of your pets you can stop talking about. If any issue comes up they fix it in record time. Really helpful. Recently came here to see if they had anything for my poor kitty's tooth area which appeared a little red and inflamed. I wanted to see if anything helped it or if they had a natural pain reliever so I didn't have to go straight to the vet to get her tooth pulled. When I asked about what they might have (I had no idea what I was even looking for, but thought they might have an idea), the helpful woman suggested "herbspirin" (the name still makes me giggle). If the name doesn't speak for itself, it is a natural "aspirin" type pain reliever that's made out of herbs. The great thing is it actually worked, and the kitty LOVED it- she seriously she eats it like candy. While I was there, the saleswoman suggested trying natural diet food for the rest of the kitties that are overtaking me in my 600 square food apartment. Instead of forcing me to buy a big bag, so gave me three pretty decent size samples of food to try -which the they hated, but it's my fault for raising such snobs;) read more

Their staff is helpful and with their frequent shopper program they show that they're looking to form a lasting relationship with their customers. Your pet is part of your family, yes? Well that's exactly how it feels when you shop here. They treat you like family! Only the best pet products are sold here so don't expect an enormous selection like the chain pet stores, but you won't run out of options to spoil your loved one. Every time I've inquired about something that they don't carry in the store I've been guaranteed it to be ordered just for me, given my finding it. Also, there return policy is very accommodating. They want you to find what is best for you and your dog, so they'll make sure you get what you need with certain boundaries, of course. For instance, dog food can be returned if the dog didn't like it or had a bad reaction to it, but (let be realistic) you can't return a bag that has been mostly consumed. I won't shop anywhere else and if I absolutely have to, I would find a store of the same caliber. read more

Great place to pick up quality pet food and treats. They carry a large variety of organic, natural and specialty pet foods and also have an incentive program where you buy so many bags and then one is free. Also lots of treats and toys and fun stuff. Everyone that works here is super nice and informed on all things pet related. They've always been helpful. They've earned every one of those five stars over the last year by giving great suggestions about food, carrying a good variety of high-end foods at very good prices, thoughtfully answering questions and being honest when they don't know something (and then being willing to find out more), and for helping us keep our costs down by having their discount cards. This is the only place I get my cat's food at. They have a system where if you buy 20 cases or bags of food, then the get the next one free. It's going to take me forever to get there, but its a nice offer. I feel like maybe their treats and toys are a bit overpriced, but I would rather shop here that a big pet store chain. read more

Tuesday early afternoon. Welcoming smile. I went in to get some poop bags for the dogs I walk and sit for, and that was standard, but what made this trip different from other trips to other shops, is that I was given some free cat treats. I was spending some time looking for a missing cat in the neighborhood and was given some treats to help. This was a super nice gesture and myself, and the owner of the cat (FEETS) really appreciate it. Well I literally live 3 blocks away from this place and it carries the food that I need for my dog! Believe it or not, I use to drive over to another petstore over in Baker to get the same food where customer service felt a bit awkward and not so friendly or knowledgeable. Or to PetSmart where I despite that I get a nice discount but they don't carry quality food and sell garbage for dogs to chew on plus they're too far. But here, customer service was ten times better as well as knowledgeable which makes me very happy and there's quality food all about. I like that it's located right by the Queen Soopers so I can shop for me then head over and shop for my dog! read more

This is the only place I buy my dog's food and have always loved how knowledgeable. caring and considerate everyone there is. Today they went the extra mile and I am just so amazed. They were waiting on a shipment of the only food my dog can eat (due to allergies) and they delivered it to my door at 8:15 pm. I liked this place and was a frequent customer, but I bought a harness there that broke within two weeks and took it back to get it exchanged. They would not exchange it and told me I would have to deal with the manufacturer. The harness was pretty expensive and I am sure they have plenty of margin in it (everything in this store is expensive). If you are going to be a specialty retailer, then you need to provide good service. I like to support local, but at least Amazon stands behind their products. read more

I'm so glad I found this place! I was thinking about switching my kittens to a raw diet and found a few brands online that I wanted to try out. Lucky for me, this shop had all of the brands I was interested in and gave me samples to take home without purchasing anything. My fur babies love their raw food now :) Even better is that I shop for myself at King Soopers across the street so I'm rarely having to go out of my way to get cat food like I used to when I got food from Pet's Mart. We love this place! My dog has a very sensitive stomach and food allergies so I'm very particular when it comes to his diet. What a wonderful place! I recently stopped in to ask about bark control collars. They did not have the product I wanted, but suggested another-- a pheromone collar to help with anxiety related issues. The woman I spoke to offered lots of information, but gave pressure to purchase anything. I left without buy the collar, wanting to sort out other options, but came back the next day to buy the collar and some treats. Was helped by another helpful staff member! Really nice place, I'll be sure to return for my furry guy's other needs. Also, the pheromone collar has been great so far.
