This is a great little pet shop that has a great selection of items for dogs and cats. Great Treats that are hard to find elsewhere. What makes this place even better is they have three self-serve dog washes in the back. It is $15 for unlimited amount of time. The water pressure is great. The air dryers are great. One of my dogs came out clean and smelling beautiful. Def try the Blueberry facial...I kid you not! read more

Dog Wash Customer. They removed ALL but shampoo from the dog wash station and the shampoo is so watered-down it barely cleans. I looked at the shampoo supply bottle and it was obviously watered down to the point of being clear... They used to have two shampoos, a de-sheding solution and a conditioner. The dog wash station is no longer worth $17. I'm super disappointed with the Owner for being this stingy, cheap and cheating customers out of basic services. Won't return again. read more

Super easy and convenient to wash your dog. I brought my corgi here. I really think their hose with the shampoo mixed into the water is great! They have 3 different scents to choose from and then you switch it rinse to wash them off. The water pressure was great and penetrated his double coat no problem. I also used their blow dryer which made drying super easy and he's now fluffy and clean. They have towels, brushes, ear cleaner, sprays, and leave in conditioner too. read more

I liked how the soap was mixed in with the water and they had everything you needed to get the job done. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and I was quite impressed. My little dog hates being bathed so she may not have had the best time, but it was drastically easier than trying to wash her in my tub at home. The staff was friendly and made sure to sanitize the tub area for her before her turn. They had plenty of supplies on hand to make the whole process convenient, ranging from treats to distract Daisy, witch hazel, doggy deodorizer, even aprons for me to wear while I bathed her. We walked around the little shop after and picked out some bags of treats to take home. I was happy to find local treats!! Even with the wash, which was $12, and three bags of doggy treats, we spent less than $30 which is better than I'd find at a big chain pet shop. We will definitely bring Daisy back here for her washes! read more

Very friendly staff! I had a great first time experience taking in my mom's 12 year old terrier who is very sick with a tumor in his belly. It was. Saturday and they were very busy. They have water bowls for the dogs and a free treat. I decided to wait and look around. Harley and I went for a walk. They give you a beeper to let you know when a booth opened up. We were done with our little walk and got in. Since my first time, the volunteer who came to help me was very nice and helped me wash my dog. You can take whatever time you need and use the stuff there everything from detangler and doggie perfume to towels and blow dryer for faster drying. I'm going back soon and Harley is still with us. read more

Bummer. Have been coming here for years ... thinking since 2007 ish -- soon after adopting my sweet pup. Service level has fallen considerably in the past year or so. Have continued to support the shop even though on line ordering of treats and food would be more cost-effective because I love the idea of a family run small shop with high-quality pet supplies. What an unassuming gem in a strip mall on Colorado Blvd! I came here per a recommendation from family for the self serve dog wash. The staff were super friendly, explained the bath and all their products. They have a blueberry facial scrub that smells amazing and made the fur on my pup so soft. I love that they offer treats to keep your dog motivated in the bath, I forgot to bring my own. The bath I was in had some dog hair in the drain that was black (my dog is a golden retriever), so I'd recommend they do a better job of ensuring the tubs are clean before another dog goes in there. Otherwise I thought they were reasonably priced, friendly, and a nice spot to self wash my pup! read more

Great place to wash our pup. All I bring is a towel for the ride home and they have everything else, kept clean and stocked. There's usually a washing station available upon arrival. I only waited less than 5 min on a busy wkend. Friendly staff too :) read more

This place is wonderful. I took my puppy in for a bath. The sinks are big enough for any size dog and they provide you with towels, brushes, treats, etc. I love how simple the shampoo was to apply and rinse off. The staff were really helpful and knowledgable. They helped me find the right food for MoMo that accommodates his age and size and breed. I love that I get to wash my puppy at my own pace. It was my first time so it was almost an hour bath time for MoMo. I love the blueberry facial so much that I bought a bottle to use for MoMo at home. Must use! I love this place for Miles, my rescue. He is small, so I often just wash him in my bathtub. For the prices and the service, it is a better option to take him here when he has had a little too much fun in the mud at the park. The wash is a huge draw and it's nice that they support the community. I just wish they had better dryers for dogs that have hair! I used their dryer for 45 minutes and my girl was still pretty wet. I have visited multiple pet washing stations in Denver, such as Petsmart and Petco. After using all of them, I can say hands-down that this location has the best pet bathing station in Denver. The quality of their shampoos and soaps and are much better. Their water pressure is much stronger. They have more available booths. And the customer service is outstanding read more

I really like Pet Station. After 3 years of digging hair out of the drain and doing a special load of dog laundry, I'm so down with paying $12 to be freed of those duties. Pet Station can get rather busy, so make sure you arrive with ample time before they close. The stalls are clean, the temperature of the water stream is perfect and the shampoos work great. I sometimes bring my own shampoo/conditioner because my lab gets pretty dry skin after her baths and they don't mind at all. The employees are really friendly and do a good job of keeping the wash stations clean between baths. Despite loving the water, my pup hates bath time. That said, she tolerates it at Pet Station, mostly because they have nice mats at the bottom of the bath basins and lots of tasty treats. She usually suckers me into a new toy or treat on the way out. They often have coupons, so sometimes we get a discount on our washes and toys. Great spot! read more

I was looking for dog food my 16-year-old Papillion would eat. I thought I tried just about everything under the sun from the big box stores. Unfortunately that leads to a lot of wasted dog food. I had an excellent experience with all three employees at The Pet Station. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, and definitely wanted to help me find anything my elderly dog would eat. I generally won't review a place, unless I think the service was excellent. I am reviewing this time, because it is a HEALTH CONCERN. I was excited to try this place out based on the great reviews. I am so disappointed. The floor had dry kibble all over it, and was filthy, and the staff was hostile, at best. I bought 6 cans of the cat food I always get my cats. I have thrown three cans away, because as soon as they take a bite, they start projectile vomiting. I also buy this food elsewhere and have never had a problem. On a separate occasion we took our dog to the dog wash there, and the staff was rude to us, and very cold. We asked if it was too late to wash our dog, and we got rude, one word answers. Best selection of treats and toys in Denver! This shop is easy to miss because it looks like crap from the outside and sits in a recessed corner of an old strip mall. But it's one of the greatest doggie finds I made in Denver. They have an AWESOME selection of dog treats and are the best prices in town. They sell hard to find cookies that don't use chicken (my dog is allergic to chicken). They have two aisles of different cow/ox/ pig products. Then they have several aisles of chew toys including lots of toys for brainiac dogs who need puzzles. In addition they also sell food and have a U-Wash service. The staff is always very cheerful and helpful which is not necessarily the standard at every pet place (sad to say.) If you have a dog and need to get out of the dull snacks from your local pet warehouse, make a special trip here. Just like most dogs I know, the exterior doesn't reflect all the goodness inside. read more

I began going to this place a year ago, after Mile High Pets, closer to my home, closed. I am one who wants to support the locally owned small businesses, and this one is a wonderful, friendly change from the cold national box-store chains. I have two cats and one dog, and believe both should be on high quality, grain free food. Evo is my choice for the felines, and the "buy 10 bags get one free" is a nice deal. For the pup, he was finicky when it comes to dry food, so the owner gave me ten sample packages, all free. I worked through these and found one - Call of the Wild - that my Bear enjoyed. Sold! They always have a great selection of food and treats, many locally made, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Though I have not tried the dog washing/grooming services, it is on my list, as when I am there to buy food I always see a steady stream of happy puppies and owners. Give this place a visit, put more money into the local economy, and establish a friendship with the staff not unlike that of a favorite pub. For $10 you get to load your dog into the wash station, don an apron and get to business. They provide everything. There are different soap settings, conditioner, a blueberry facial, brushes, ear cleanser, and even a dryer. It's just so easy and the mess stays there, not all over my bathroom. I don't even have to dry towels! They also have a fantastic selection of wholesome cat and dog food that are very affordable. There are several toys and various pet supplies as well. The staff is very knowledagble, helpful, and friendly. I am sold on Pet Station and only wish I would have started going here years ago. read more
