Mainly, I am reviewing Pet station for their self service dog wash. I love my dog, but truth be told, dog grooming is just too pricey, even though Bentley is priceless. In comes Pet station. For 12 dollars, it is totally worth it to not have to clean up my own shower and bath, pull enough hair out of the drain to create another dog, and deal with Bentley shaking water out of his hair after I've dried him with three towels, and have Bentley finish it off by rubbing his entire body into the carpet. The Pet station also pays its way in that you get a choice of some nice smelling soaps and that wonderful blueberry facial. The station is hassle free and very easy to use so I feel like I get a better wash out of it then doing this at home. Walking around they seem to have some competitive prices for dog food and treats. All in all, in about 5 more visits, I get a free wash, which I intend to use. read more

This is a wonderful pet shop for my dog. I bring my chow husky mix in here to bathe and they have different shampoos and other supplies for your convenience. They even have some treats to lure my dog into the tub. The water temperature is just right and they include an apron so you don't get your clothes too wet. They also have these frozen bison bones that my dog absolutely loves. The owners are also nice and helpful whenever you need their assistance. Will be back for sure =] read more

I was looking for dog food my 16-year-old Papillion would eat. I thought I tried just about everything under the sun from the big box stores. Unfortunately that leads to a lot of wasted dog food. I had an excellent experience with all three employees at The Pet Station. They were very helpful and knowledgeable, and definitely wanted to help me find anything my elderly dog would eat. They gave me several recommendations for palatable food and multiple samples to try! I will be a loyal customer in the future and I'll ask my friends to support this local business! read more

I still love the food selection and store staff who are always friendly and helpful. The last groomer Toni has moved now and they have somebody new starting in March. Toni was a decent groomer but i am excited to see who will be grooming now and hope that they stick around for a while. If nothing else, stop by for the awesome selection of premium food that they have available. read more

Great for self grooming and they have excellent customer service and top-quality pet supplies

I'm not reviewing this place for the dog washing because I wash my dog at home (spiral hose and adapter for the sink faucet), but all the dogs I have seen coming in or leaving after a wash while I'm there shopping are always very happy and controlled (leashed) even if they're excited. I haven't seen any aggressiveness and the store and washing areas are always very clean. The staff are positive and keep the dogs engaged and happy. I buy food, treats, and toys here for my dog and elderly cat. The food and treats they have in stock are fresh because they order and rotate frequently and they offer high quality brands like Acana and Orijen (dog food) as well as many others. I go here instead of the franchised pet stores because they have so much more to offer. The staff is knowledgable and they have always been friendly and polite to me, even when I am in a rush. read more

I try to shop small locally owned businesses whenever I can, and this is one of my favorites! They have a HUGE variety of pet food choices and I've found they have some of the best prices in town. They also have a self-shampoo area for dogs that is wonderful. However, the best thing about them is their support of local dog rescues. They allowed Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue to arrange a dog wash fundraiser in their shop which was so very generous. read more

Had a great experience washing my pup here! The staff was very helpful and explained all their equipment. I put on an apron (provided) and got right to work! Clean tubs, several shampoo options, lots of clean towels (and/or a dryer if you prefer), conditioner, and ear cleaning treatments. Everything is included for $12! They have a loyalty program - every 10th wash is free! Highly recommended for easy all-inclusive wash experience! read more

I have been going to Pet Station for 8 years now. It used to seem like a mom and pop shop with helpful people working the desk or willing to help you setup the dog stairs into the dog wash. However, the past couple times I have gone, I have realized how little anyone offers to help or even engage with you. Today might have been my last visit, as I would rather drive 20 minutes instead of 5 min for quality customer service. Today I walked in the door at 4:44pm, after checking online to see that the last wash is at 4:45pm and they close at 6pm. Nowhere online does it say that you must be in the wash washing your dog by 4:45 and that you would be criticized by the staff if you are not, nor does it say that your dog needs to be out of the tub by 5pm. So I go straight to wash, walk in the door at 4:44 thinking I am fine and have plenty of time since they don't close until 6. The staff are rude, basically asking me to leave right when I walk in. I needed to wash my dog since he had rolled in animal poo of some kind and I was out of the tub at 5:06pm. At checkout I begin to apologize saying that there is nothing on the website saying that 5pm is when you close up the bath and that it only mentions last bath at 4:45 so I thought I was there on time. The lady checking me out proceeds to tell me "I don't know what's on the website but we have signs in here everywhere and you should have called to make sure." A customer should not be expected to call, as well as check online. A business is responsible for getting the information straight as to what is included on a professional website. Sad that we experienced this tonight.. read more

Pet Station - good service, very helpful, good location, and parking too! We've only been in this store about 3 or 4 times, but each time, we have walked out knowing that we've been given good service, and were completely satisfied. The staff is very helpful, but not in your face. Interior - very clean, excellently stocked too. There is lots of stock, but it's not too tightly packed, you can move around in the store. Parking - there is a parking lot there, which is so nice! Location - very, very easy to miss, as it is in a strip mall, and they are on the corner. Products - food, toys, bedding, etc. Thanks Pet Station! read more

Love this place. Wish it's a bit bigger for maneuvering but then again that might mean higher prices, so I'm ok with it just the way it is now. I get my dogs Wellness dog food and their original prices is actually lower than Petsmart or Petco which works out for me so I don't have to wait for Petsmart or Petco to go on sale and stock up. When I asked if they carry this particular line of Wellness dog food, they say no but they can order it for me. Definitely gonna try it out. I also like their dog treat options. My favorite for the dogs are the trachea and tendons. Again, prices are good on the treats. The workers there were friendly every time I dealt with them. They also always help me carry the 35 lb bag of dog food out to the car for me. The floor can get a little slippery/dirty from wet dogs walking around but I feel like everytime I see that, I also see a worker walking around with a mop. I'm sure they understand wet floor = liability. I've never used the dog wash area so I can't speak to that, but they always seem busy as I see people walking back there with their dogs every time I stop at the store. The only thing is I wish they have a good groomer again. They used to have a pretty good groomer there but she is no longer grooming. If they have get another awesome groomer, then they'll be a true all in one store once again. read more

Great experience! Reasonable price for 15 minute wash. Good equipment and nice, helpful staff. All good! Thank you.

Nine years later and the price is still only $12 for a doggie grooming! Awesome place and helpful staff! Still love taking my Moo Dog here... though I think she would say otherwise #soggyratdog read more

I've gone to this store infrequently in the 10 years we've lived here but each time has been a decent experience. I like the small pet stores like this as they usually have unique items. I've used the dog wash and that's very convenient. People are friendly. I recently went in for a harness, I wanted one different than I've found in the big box stores and one I could actually touch vs. ordering online. I found a very good option and the person in the store helped show me how to use it and told me to bring it back if it didn't work. It did work, it's a great harness and I am so glad I went there. I get that it's easy to go to the big box stores, I do it all the time. But when I get the chance I like stopping in places like these and I would encourage you to do so too so they stay in business and we have this type of offering in the community. read more

Very helpful staff!! The place is clean and organized, and I'll definitely be going back again soon!

Very friendly service and clean pup wash area! We will be using these services again!

What an amazing store! Not only do they carry quality products but the staff is the most friendly I've ever encountered. I have been taking my lab there for 2+ years for self-baths. The tubs are clean and they give you the soap/conditioner, ear cleaner, brushes and blueberry face wash. Not only is this a wonderful store, but the ownership supports several various local dog rescues via weekend dog washes and donates supplies to help rescue dogs. They have a big heart and a lovely store. I will never go anywhere else! read more

My first time at a dog wash and it was easy and fun! The folks who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have an awesome supply of natural dog food and treats. The dog wash station is kept clean between uses. They provide, soaps, conditioners, ear cleaning solution, towels, aprons and blow driers. ~ All for $12!! Generally speaking, I like to support local stores but it's an even greater pleasure when the staff and other patrons and their pups are so friendly and personable! read more

I came in looking for cat food with shredded chicken in aspic. My kitty was very sick (kidney failure after a two year battle) and was scheduled to be put down the following day. She was refusing to eat. I knew she needed something special and shredded chicken was one of her favorites. The staff was friendly and attentive. They didn't know I needed provisions for my dying best friend. She loved the food. I'm certain it made her last hours a bit more tolerable. I just wanted to say thank you to your staff for being kind in a moment of need. read more

Pet station had friendly, welcoming staff who took the time to show me all of the ins and outs of the pet wash. The pet wash station could not be more convenient - they provide shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and even ear cleaner with cotton swabs! They also provide brushes, hairdryers, and an open treat jar. Quick, convenient, and at an amazing price. Can't be beat! read more

I love Pet Station! Their self-service dog wash is the best around with their shampoos and conditioner that are built into the water stream. The blueberry facewash is also great, albeit my dog's least favorite part, and they provide towels, brushes, and aprons for the humans.... One piece of advice though--you need to be done with the dog wash an hour before the store closes, so if you're cutting it close, call ahead to make sure they don't have a long wait, which is usually only an issue at the end of a muddy weekend. Their pet food selection and treats are very diverse and well-priced. Lots of local Colorado selection for treats, and high quality brand dry and canned foods. I like to get a variety of canned foods for my dog and cat to sample and there are tons of choices, but they also have a "frequent buyer" program where you buy 12 bags/cans then get one free, which is a fun surprise about once a year on the dry dog food. The store has always been clean, staff is always helpful, and they get shipments twice a week so the vast majority of the time they have my type of food in stock. They also host low-cost pet events every now and again--micro chipping, teeth cleaning, etc. read more

I found this place by chance when I was driving past it. They advertise pet washing stations that are open to the public, and available as walk-ins. I decided to give them a try as I couldn't find any openings at the groomers for months, and I was pleasantly surprised! The employees were very friendly to me as well as my dog, and they even provided "bribery" treats in the dog wash stations. I have never used a dog washing station before, so they showed me how everything worked, and provided everything I would need (including a few things I never would have thought to use). All this for just $12!! I will be going back again, and will be recommending it to all my friends! read more

Very clean, with extremely helpful staff. Everything is pretty simple to use and they provide cotton and ear wash supplies. They also have a face friendly soap for your pet. Overall not bad for $12.00. Will definitely keep coming back here! read more

Very cool pet food and supply store. I have found the owners and staff to be incredibly friendly and knowledgeable without being pompous. Their prices are also very close and even better sometimes than those at Petsmart or Petco, a huge plus. The best part is that your animals are allowed to sample the food before you invest in a big bag of food. If you own a pet, you should check this place out. read more

Only $12 for self service bath regardless of how much your dog weighs. The baths are high enough that you won't break your back bending over the tub. Will be a repeat customers!! read more

I just got my dog groomed there, and not only do they have competitive pricing but they have a great staff. My dog got diarrhea while there because she has separation anxiety, and this has happened before at stores like Petsmart, but the difference was that the staff was more concerned about her health than being upset about the accident. They cut her the exact way I asked them to ans she looks great, can't wait to go back! read more

I love this little pet store for 2 reasons, the 2 reasons why I go out of my way to go there. They are super nice, and always have specials. Also, their bully sticks and other varieties of chew products are way cheaper than they are elsewhere. 5$ for a 12" bully stick is pretty good, from what I've seen. Plus they have some tendon chews that last a good while that are just over a dollar. My beagle and brittany always know when I'm coming back from the store. read more

Been a Pet Station customer for a few years, great selection, great service, great place all around. The prices are about what you'd expect with premium pet foods and toys, but they're not outrageous. We go there because they stock 'Taste of the Wild' dog food which our Golden Retriever loves. The owners are friendly and greet us warmly whenever we come by. The bath station in the back is pretty awesome. There's 3 do-it-yourself dog washing stations. We've had to wait in line a few times in Winter when there's a lot of muddy snow outside and everyone's dogs are filthy but Pet Station folks do their best to help and keep the line moving. read more

The people at Pet Station are terrific, very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable, particularly for a small independent store. It also seems like they've always got some kind of fundraiser going for local rescues, that's awesome! read more

I am so happy to have have found this place to wash my dog today. I originally had gone to Heavenly Dog in Wash Park and the price is $17 (you get one towel and they ask for a tip on the receipt) and I was not impressed with the owner. Pet Station is $12 for everything. They are friendly, knowledgeable and have great products. You also get the 10th wash free. I will be going back here for sure to wash my dog, buy products and food. Great to see a store with happy employees who love animals! read more

Pet wash area is really nice. Was able to get both dogs washed, dried, brushed, and back home in less than an hour!

I stopped in because my pooch needed a good, thorough bath. They have a nice setup - easy to use, friendly staff. Looked like there were 3 tubs, and as I stopped in during the afternoon on a Wednesday, I didn't have to wait. No frills, but I don't especially like to pay for frills - I just want a clean, nice-smelling dog, and that's what I had when I left! Looked like they had a huge selection of dog foods, and some great treats. They have a frequent bather program - I think it's 10 washes get one free, or the 10th wash is free - something like that. Anyway, I'll definitely be back! read more

I've been coming here since they opened and I love having them in my neighborhood. The owners and everyone that works there are very helpful. They know me by name which makes it feel even more like a neighborhood store. They have helped me select the best foods for my 2 dogs and cat and continue to carry new products that are both healthy and unique. I have stopped going to big box stores. The 'do it yourself' dog washing service is affordable and the bays for the dogs are clean and have everything you need to wash your animals. read more

I love this pet shop! A friend recommended it to me because of their self pet wash. I was very pleased, it's only $12 (same as Petco) to wash your dog. They provide EVERYTHING; 3 different types of shampoo, conditioner, facial tearless shampoo, earwash, towels, dryer and a variety of scrubbers and shedders for your pup. They also have the dog food I feed my lab and it's significantly cheaper then Petco or Petsmart. I will be driving the extra few miles to go to this pet store from now on. Give it a try, it's great! read more

First time in today washing my dog. Great experience. Laid back and very friendly staff!!!! I have driven past this store hundreds of times on Colorado Blvd and never knew it was there. For all the pups in need of a bath in wash park, Glendale and cherry creek area, this is a really convenient location with lots of parking. read more

The type of neighborhood shop you keep wanting to go back to. Go in enough and they'll remember your name, the type of dog food you buy, and give you a free bag every 10-15 bags depending on the type of food you buy. They also never let you carry your own dog food out to your car. Great service, great store. read more
