I take my two old chihuahua rescues to have their nails cut. Their feet are so small, and one kicks and struggles, they are able to cut their nails quickly and do a good job. Their prices are very good - it isn't a fancy place, but you pay for fancy. I had a wonderful mobile groomer, but they raised their nail cuts from $20 to $30. That's too much. read more

My pugs, Sully and Poe, have lived in a townhouse until six months ago, so they never needed their nails trimmed, but now that they have a big yard, they need nail trims. I went to one place right by my house that was AWFUL. They missed half of the nails and squeezed the hell out of my dogs' paws. The second place was better but not by much. Poe's leash broke so he was on the run; Brittany got him quickly and they gave me one of their leashes so he would be safe when we left! We came here today and were treated to the nicest dog grooming experience. For a low price of around $17, they provide a large tub, stairs, body and face shampoo, conditioners, and dozens of brushes. They'll help with the grooming process for newbies, and have plenty of tips. Great people working there too. read more

They went above and beyond helping me thru a hard time with my husky when he was going thru medical issues. He passed a while back and I still remember how the workers here were so understanding, helpful and caring on how I had to come in and clean him with a special shampoo weekly, and eventually taking him there for them to shave him for treatments. I have moved 45 mins away and I will still take my dogs only to this groomer (luckily my fur kids love car rides). I will recommend them to everyone I know. I brought my dog in for a clean and nail buff. She was so traumatIzed and I felt so badly for bringing her there. Her behavior was very guarded for a tIme. She had a bloody eye inside the ball the next day for a few days and a scab left just to the left of her eye that is still there three weeks later. I shutter to think what really happened to her. She is my support and loves me no matter whaT and I put her in a vicous horror place they I didn't protect her from. I feel terrible about it and have to warn others so another dog doesn't go through this. I will never bring her there and I wouldn't recommend this place for drop off. Maybe it's ok if you do it yourself but it is kind people that should be working with dogs. Unfortunately that is a trust I can not earn after this terrible event. read more

I've been to this self wash before and loved the convenience and affordability. I checked the hours today and decided to bring my dog for a quick bath tonight after work. However, I pulled in to the parking lot at 5:45 to see the worker locking the door and leaving. No note on the door saying there was an emergency or something requiring them to close early. Also, they up charge you after you think that they did a job well done. I usually don't write reviews but this had to be addressed I took my giant schnauzer puppy in to get a Low trim. When I came back I was charged 30 more dollars than I was originally quoted. Then about two days later I started to realize that under both his ears in the exact same spot there was swelling and bleeding from where they cut him with the clippers. I just left Bark and Wash after being argued with because I asked for a tub that didn't leak. The kid that was there argued that all tubs leaked if the drain got stopped up. I found this place on the web, saw great reviews, and printed off a coupon (on their site!) When I walked in, I was warmly greeted and was shown exactly how to use the equipment. They truly have it all: fur soap, "facial" soap, brushes, hoses, leashes, dryers, and a super helpful staff. I got the assistance of getting my large dog in the sink! After giving my best attempt to dry off my pup, one of the staff members came and showed me a little bit better technique. Huck even got himself a little treat. All the treats they sell come from a local baker, and my pup ate it up! (Although, which Golden wouldn't?) I paid and was on my merry way. Huck looks and smells so great! Went here for the first time this weekend. The Petsmart down the street told us about this place. The woman that greeted us asked if we had ever been there before. When we said that this was our first time, she walked us through the process. We were in the midst of washing our Sheplaberman, when the co-owner offered some great advice on what we were doing. Best bath my buddy has had in a long time! They give you all the tools, and an apron to "try" to remain dry. The place is clean, staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They don't close until 7 but we have gotten there at 6:30 (the only time my husband can meet me there to wash our two small dogs) and have been able to wash them at this time. We always do self wash and bring our own shampoo and towels. This time my husband arrived a few minutes before me and was told that they take their last wash at 6:15 even though they close at 7.
