No I whiskers and cavaliers have full fluffy ears like a spaniel and these were shaved down to give him an awkward look.

I am so disappointed. We have brought our small dog to this grooming facility several times over the past year and a half. They've always done a pretty good job. He had one incident where he had some matting in his tail and ears, so they cut the ear hair down very very short, reminded me of his early puppy days. And his tail was cut down to nothing. It's hair, it grows back so while I wasn't thrilled, and it took five months to start to look normal again, I let it go, but did let the groomer know that I was not happy about that. I go to book the next grooming appointment and they tell me the normal $80 charge has now gone up a whopping 25% up to $100 per visit before tip. I didn't really have time to shop around for a groomer, and our dog did need to be groomed. He was clean and there wasn't anything really wrong with him, he just need his fur shortened. So, I bring him back willing to pay the inflated price, I was very specific with my instructions and there are detailed notes on our account having been there many times. The owner decided to cut all of my dogs whiskers off without my permission, I have no idea why. He has never had his whiskers cut off before. I specifically said no trimming of the hair on his tail or ears because we were growing them out. When I arrived to pick up my dog, she had in fact, trimmed his ears quite a bit as well as his tail. I don't understand how you can be the owner of a grooming business and not thoroughly look at the notes or listen to your customer. She was very very apologetic and I can tell it upset her that she did not make a customer happy, and she actually even admitted that she didn't need to cut his ear hair for any reason, she just thought that she should and it was a miscommunication. That is what phones are for. If you were unsure in anyway, just say I just wanted to be clear on the ears and the tail, were we cutting them shorter or did you wanna leave them as is? I am at a loss here, the Hair I know could grow back out in the next 2 to 3 months to look normal again on his ears and tail and I know they always take great care of him when he is there, and I do like them as a grooming facility, however, I just don't understand why people can't follow basic instructions, especially when you own the business and this is your livelihood Hair grows back, so well he might look a bit silly for the next 6 to 12 weeks, I can handle that but buzzing my dogs whiskers down, which helped them with sensory issues, balance, being aware of their surroundings, so many things, just google what cutting your dogs whiskers off will do. You will find a list of unfavorable Negative side effects. Wow, I'm so glad I went back to give them more business after they increase their price 25% just so my dog could be treated this way. Absolutely unacceptable I asked for his feet to be trimmed way down on the fur and pop pad area and the top of his feet were not anywhere close to that, she told me she could make the correction on site, but it would be another 15 minutes or so and I didn't have another 15 minutes, that was something that should've been taken care of properly as it minimize the amount of dirt and mud brought into the house. Cutting too much of what I didn't ask for and not cutting enough where I did request it, Reviews should serve as a way to improve as a company, but I'm sure my review will be met with resistance so now I feel forced to find another groomer who listens and communicates prior to grooming. To be fair, I really like the woman who owns mango's grooming. I think Meg is a wonderful person, I know she is doing her very best, but I just feel like I've been putting such an awkward position after phone calls, discussing price increases, being improperly, charged one visit, now dealing with The improper cut, etc.. I don't even know what makes sense to do going forward. Will shop around for another reputable groomer.

The people here are so kind and friendly. They absolutely love dogs. They remember so much about my puppy and were so kind about my dog that had passed away. They answer the phones quickly and get you scheduled efficiently. They text and call when your pup is ready to be picked up so they're not there longer than theyneed to. They always have great details to share about how my dog did with the grooming but also about his interactions with other dogs. I would highly recommend.

Meggo's has been a relief to me. I am the dog mom of two elderly dogs (around 15 years old). The way that Meggo's professionals take their time going the pace of what the dogs need, has been a relief to my mind. The workers know what special products to use for tender feet to gunky eyes to clogged ears. They let me know if the grooming had gone well or if the dogs had problems. While my dogs don't love going to the groomers, I can tell they definitely prefer it to the vet. And the fact that I know they are well taken care of while they are there, makes it worth the drive and the price.

Well groomed pups!

I was a little worried because my dogs are young and not as well socialized as I would like, due to Covid 19, and had also never been in for professional grooming. But I shouldn't have worried; Meggo's was great. My pups actually seemed to have had a fun time since they got to play with the other dogs and weren't locked in kennels, plus they look and smell fantastic. Everyone there was extremely nice and truly appeared to enjoy their jobs and love the dogs. My husband and I were really happy with the bathing, trimming, overall grooming and our dogs non stressed reaction and definitely plan to give Meggo's more business.

My pup is a mixed breed and can be hard to figure out. Meg is one of the few who can make her look good! She's responsive to my specific requests and my pupper loves her! I'm almost hesitant to give a great review because I know her schedule will start to fill up quickly, but she really is great

Meg does such an incredible job with Audie's hair that we were so excited to hear she had her own business starting! In the past I have had difficulty with groomers, but Meg has always made both me and my pup, Audie so happy and welcome. Audie gets genuinely excited to go visit and comes out lookin like a million bucks! Somehow Meg magically gives Audie a cut that looks good even as it grows how. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Great staff and service. My dog was matted so it was shorter than needed, but they explained this to me before they began.

I was hesitant to leave an honest review due to the unprofessional responses the owner is leaving,…read morehowever I've determined that my dogs safety and awareness is more important. When making an appointment I made it clear that I only wanted a bath, brush, de-shed, and nail trim. I wanted nothing cut or trimmed at all. The gentleman on the phone assured me that they wouldn't do anything but that (as I do the rest myself at home). When I picked up my dog the groomer I was told that I would have a $15 additional charge since my dog was "difficult to handle" (this had never been an issue at any of the groomers he has been to so I was shocked but none the less complied). She then informed me that she scratched my dogs nose with the brush. I wasn't worried about it at first because I figured it was an honest mistake, it didn't look noticeable at the time, and I appreciated her telling me upfront. I paid and went home. Once I got home his nose was bleeding and he kept licking his private. I took a closer look and saw that not only did they cut around his stomach, they cut the tip of his private and it was also red bleeding. I know that it is customary to do a hygienic clip during a groom but I specifically asked for nothing but the bath and NO CUT AT ALL. My poor dog is now having to wear a cone to prevent him from getting an infection where they cut his private. His nose is starting to heal thankfully but I'm still very concerned about his other injury. I'm disappointed and heart broken that my baby is suffering from something that never should have happened.

Barky Mountain - stellar business! Best haircut EVER for my (formerly shaggy) Old English Sheepdog…read more Tori is amazing and pulled off an adorable panda/teddy bear haircut... despite some matting- looks flawless. And she even added cute pigtails with bows. This business is busy (I'm glad- hope they remain around for a long time) so they book sometimes 2-3 months out, but don't let that deter you, just plan ahead or ask if they can place you on the waitlist. To their credit, they actually remember to call you when they have openings! (I was able to get in today instead of waiting for an appointment in March.) Thank you Tori and the entire staff!

As challenging as an experience as this was, I am so thankful for Caring Pathways and the service…read morethey provided. Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.
