Even tho I take her potty beforehand (literally in the grass outside of the shop) she almost always has a nervous accident. I always apologize but the staff literally just says "no worries, we LOVE HER". I also really want to emphasize that they do not do cages here. Dogs get to interact with each other and be themselves with people and dogs alike. Love Meggo's, I am a customer for life!

I've had Westies for 25 years and always ask for the same thing no matter where I go home even if it's PetSmart and this last time my dogs look like they've been buzzed. Not at all what I asked for and all you get is excuses from them about not understanding when I was very clear and there are notes from prior visits. I told them I specifically did not want to fight, but that I wanted a westie cut that was shorter than a show dog which is very long skirt. The Prices have been $80 a dog and now they're going up to $100 a dog. Even at 80+ tax plus tip we're looking at over $100 and my expectation is that they follow directions and ask questions if they are not clear.

When making an appointment I made it clear that I only wanted a bath, brush, de-shed, and nail trim. I wanted nothing cut or trimmed at all. The gentleman on the phone assured me that they wouldn't do anything but that (as I do the rest myself at home). When I picked up my dog the groomer I was told that I would have a $15 additional charge since my dog was "difficult to handle" (this had never been an issue at any of the groomers he has been to so I was shocked but none the less complied). She then informed me that she scratched my dogs nose with the brush. I wasn't worried about it at first because I figured it was an honest mistake, it didn't look noticeable at the time, and I appreciated her telling me upfront. I paid and went home. Once I got home his nose was bleeding and he kept licking his private. I took a closer look and saw that not only did they cut around his stomach, they cut the tip of his private and it was also red bleeding. I know that it is customary to do a hygienic clip during a groom but I specifically asked for nothing but the bath and NO CUT AT ALL. My poor dog is now having to wear a cone to prevent him from getting an infection where they cut his private. His nose is starting to heal thankfully but I'm still very concerned about his other injury. I'm disappointed and heart broken that my baby is suffering from something that never should have happened.

This wonderful family-owned business is exactly what I was looking for. My little Gucci girl is usually very anxious when meeting strangers. She looked very comfortable in Josh's arms before I left, and was completely calm when I arrived to pick her up. I really liked the open design concept. Not a single dog was in a cage, and I was able to watch the gentle groomer as she worked her magic. Every dog looked AMAZING! There wasn't a day I can remember when it was not clean. Things are always neatly placed and displayed. It's so easy to find whatever you are looking to buy. We have a cat who's got some health problems. Here at this store, we can safely buy foods that are not going to agitate our cat's health. I know those big chain pet stores promise to carry foods that are healthy for whatever animal you own and yet many of them do contain ingredients that are not so healthy/safe for them. If you want your pet to be around for as long as possible, then why not buy the brand or product that'll give him/her the absolute longevity? The service is always good at this store. Today, we met Ghost, a white female dog who greeted us with her owner. Ghost's owner (worker) had a nice friendly conversation with us while we shopped. Great store indeed!!

Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

There was so much empathy throughout the experience, that it took away the awkward or embarrassing concerns. They also offered counseling services. Afterwards we received a beautiful carved wooden box to hold the ashes- we were not expecting anything this nice. To me, this was worth the higher price you pay- rather than going to the vet to do this.

Now I bring my 2 new puppy mill rescues to her, a Yorkie/Maltese mix and a Cavapoo. My Cavapoo is frightened of everything and Julie takes her time with her to help her feel more comfortable. My Morkie is a little sassy and Julie does such a good job with her as well. They always look fabulous! One of the most important things to me when I originally started with Julie, is that she grooms one dog at a time so your dog isn't sitting around in a cage for hours waiting their turn.
