this will be a long review but believe me, you want to read this before you take your pets to them...I don't even know where to begin with this, I was trying to avoid this but after dealing with them I have no choice but to write this review. We have taken our dog to them for over a year now, we were really happy however everything changed after his last grooming visit. After he was groomed and picked up, later on in the day he was down and itching we figured it was just because he got groomed. Well, the next morning poor guy was licking his abdominal area and it was so red and inflamed he could not sit or walk for a long time without stopping and trying to lick it. We called the emergency room to see if that was normal, they stated sometimes they get razor burn and to try placing something cold to calm down the irritation which we did, however, the next day it got even worse he was crying, he could not sleep, the area was so red and seemed like he had a cut, so we took him in to the vet and they said that unfortunately, this can happen from grooming if they cut too close to their skin it can get irritated and inflamed. The grooming place was closed Sat, Sun, and Monday so we had to wait to call them to see why we were not advised about his abdominal area being shaved so much that this happened, Nina ( person who groomed him) answered the phone and was like "oh I was just going to call you because I saw your google review" she did not seem concerned whatsoever, she was acting like this happens all the time and was going on and on about how they use the same blade for all dogs bla bla---- no apology or anything. We brought him in for her to see his irritation and she was extremely rude towards us and she took pics stating that this happens because he was licking it after he was groomed and it could have been avoided if he didn't lick it, I am sorry but he should've never been shaved to the point where he was irritated to the point where he had to be taken to the vet. Poor guy has blisters and bumps from all this. She hesitantly wrote the check to refund us for his first vet visit which was $70 and she handed the check and said " Good luck with his next groomer" I am sorry but this was not about money and trying to get refunded for freaking $70, this was simply to show you what was wrong but yet she was so rude and one SINCERE apology would have avoided all of this but instead she refused to take any responsibility for her action. Please be careful and do not take your pet here if you want them to be taken care of.

Looking adorable after her grooming!

I have to say, I am IMPRESSED! From the moment I walked in we were treated great! I was greeted and so was my dog which I appreciate hahaha. Most of all, NO ONE was open on Sunday minus this place and she was very accommodating on getting me in. I can't believe how great my foster dog looks, when I picked her up I was in shock she was even my pup! The extra couple min drive and a couple bucks more will always be worth it due to how great of service I received. You pay for what you get and I am more than happy with the services I received. I will defiantly be back.

I chose this place because of the good ratings and awesome name. I couldn't be happier with my experience! My dog is a German Shepard mix so he sheds. They removed all excess hair and his fur feels amazing! His teeth and nails look great too!

Fantastic service!! We rescued a dog recently and wanted to get her nice and clean and liked the options offered here. Sharon, the owner, is wonderful and you can tell she puts her heart and soul into her business. She loves the pups that come in and they come out looking amazing. Will definitely return.

Adopted pet before (matted and very dirty), and after a happy, clean and beautiful pup!

Clean, easy. Super friendly service! $17 is a little steep for self wash but not a bad option in the winter.

We were so excited to stumble on chewy's bonetique…read more When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked what type of dog breed we had at home. We told the representative that our dog was pretty picky with snacks and treats, and we were made sample treat pouches that we could go home and give to him to find what he liked the most. We have never been treated so well in a store before and offered options to take home and try first. This was amazing. While we were at the bonetique, we noticed that there was a dog meet up, which was extremely cute. I definitely recommend chewy's Bonetique. They had many Colorado made treats for dogs. This is an amazing store that many people should check out.

The prices are reasonable, but then again our dog is small and so is his appetite so we don't spend a ton. He has a sensitive system, and he happily eats anything we buy here. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and will answer just about any question you have about dogs and their nutrition. Today was the first time I took advantage of their nail clipping service. It is offered as a walk in service and it will run you 20 dollars with an option to tip. Elias did our dog's nails today, no easy task since he's a little fussy with his feet, but Elias was quick and efficient, and oh so loving to our little old guy. It costs less than our vet and a little more than the big chain pet stores, but Chewy's is located so close to our house that I think it evens out just fine.

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE FOR GROOMING!!!! I had been bringing my long haired Dachshund here for…read moregrooming every 3-5 months, and for regular nail trims. Today when I picked him up from being groomed they cut his hair all the way down. The groomer said she checked the notes and this is what they "have always done". WRONG he has NEVER had his hair shaved down. The owner Luke apologized and stated that his health is not affected. Also WRONG Luke! He is an 8 year old black double coated dog and we are heading into the warm summer months. My senior black fur dog just lost the ability to maintain his temperature regulation. What groomer would not know that you are not supposed NEVER shave down a long haired Dachshund as it damages the coat and impairs the dogs ability to regulate temperature. A knowledgeable groomer would know that long haired Dachshunds are DOUBLE COATED and their undercoat protects them from heat in the summer and cold in the winter. A knowledgeable groomer would know that shaving down their fur can damage their permanent coat preventing it from growing back properly. Poor guy it looks horrible and I'm praying that somehow we are lucky and it grows back in without being permanently damaged. This is going to impact my dogs entire summer as he will have to avoid being in the sun. So no long walks or hikes for him. So you are WRONG Luke this is more than cosmetic and goes way beyond my dog looking absolutely horrible. This definitely affects his health and his life. BEWARE AND NEVER BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!!!
