Now I bring my 2 new puppy mill rescues to her, a Yorkie/Maltese mix and a Cavapoo. My Cavapoo is frightened of everything and Julie takes her time with her to help her feel more comfortable. My Morkie is a little sassy and Julie does such a good job with her as well. They always look fabulous! One of the most important things to me when I originally started with Julie, is that she grooms one dog at a time so your dog isn't sitting around in a cage for hours waiting their turn. Even though I have moved further away, it's worth the drive!

Must. Love. Dogs…read more And believe me, Soapy Dogs groomers really do! My normally chill German Shepherd has an alter ego that only comes out when getting his nails trimmed. Then, look out. He strikes fear in the heart of even the most experienced of groomers. Enter Soapy Dogs to the rescue. By the time he was done getting his nails "did," he was eating out of the groomer's hand. Literally. Walking outside for a curbside dog spa treatment couldn't be more convenient. On-time and professional.

Good things: we took our 15 pound dog here for years and we liked that the grooming happened in…read moreless than an hour. Price was usually reasonable, although it constantly increased. Bad things: the owner was generally nice to our dog, but she constantly solicited positive reviews, even to the point of grabbing our phone and dictating a positive review. The owner eventually moved out of state and still ran the shop from a distance. The employees were a mixed bag. As our dog got older, we became disenchanted with the shop. There was an insistence to pay online which tended inflate the price with additional charges.

I took my miniature poodle here for the first time to get a full groom about a month ago and I'm…read moreonly leaving a review to warn poodle owners to AVOID this place at all costs. The groomers here are not qualified to groom a poodle whatsoever. And before the shop tries to leave a comment saying my dog was matted, he was NOT. I brush and bath my dog at home with salon-quality Chris Christensen products and thoroughly brushed/combed him the day before his groom. They gave my poodle the most sloppy, choppy, and unprofessional groom I have ever seen in my life. He looked he had been air or caged dry, both of which are NOT supposed to be done at all since it causes more matting for poodles. His coat was also not brushed at all, which is a huge red flag. I also suspect they are not using salon grade shampoo and conditioner. Additionally, they gave him these weird bald spots on his chest like they trimmed him way too short due to improper shearing techniques. Lastly, they had him for 3.5 hours which is unheard of for a professional groom. Normally, grooming sessions take 2 hours for a mini poodle. When I got home, I had to give him a bath, hand dry him, and brush him because his coat was in such horrible condition. For anybody thinking of taking their poodle here, DO NOT. For any existing customers with a poodle, they are hacking your poodle's coat and there are much better groomers out there. The responsible thing for a groomer to do is it to turn away dogs they are unable or unqualified to groom.
