Their thick coats can be challenging for some groomers, but she handles them with ease. They always come home looking great and, just as importantly, they're happy. I didn't want to have to post this but it's been 3 weeks and my doodle still hasn't recovered from his cuts and now I have to bring him to the vet today. They blamed bloody ears upon pickup on hemostasis...ok...ill accept that. But he also had several cuts around his head and cheek...this one has been getting worse and now I have to get him treated at the vet today, three weeks after his grooming. I must've stopped by during the transition period because it's full of new doggy treats & stuff. Also was so happy to hear my pups favorite groomer, Kayleigh is still there. She does not make him look like a poodle. We regularly get compliments on his cut. She has educated me on his coat and brushing him. I can't compliment her enough. I was looking for a new groomer as the one I frequented had closed - but I should have listened to the reviews I found online (very mixed). I made an appointment before Christmas for my pup. The past week I received two text messages asking that I confirm my appointment. I did so. I get a text message the morning of our appointment from someone named Kaley asking me to reschedule. I replied stating I made the appointment weeks ago and had already confirmed twice and that this was to be our first experience using them. She replied without an apology, just said she had an appointment she couldn't miss - can I do another day. I replied and stated that I was disappointed, but sure, I could do Saturday and provided my availability. I got a reply, again with no apology for the situation, just a text saying "Nevermind we can keep today I'll figure it out." At that point, I wasn't comfortable due to the lack of professionalism, so I just asked that she cancel my appointment. She chose to reply with: "Lol what?" So incredibly unprofessional - I would not recommend trying this business. read more

Absolutely love this shop! I have a German Shepherd who is very high maintenance as far as grooming goes due to allergies. He typically hates his paws being touched. Not only does he happily walk into this store with me but he comes out happy too. They are so good with him! I have traveled all over the US with him - we have gone to a lot of groomers and I have never been so happy as I have been with Paw Prints over the years. I'm a big fan of this Paw Prints location, even though it's further from my house than the Yosemite shop. I've always been cheerfully greeted, and they were great about allowing a pet sitting client of mine (who I recommended to PP when the client needed to find a specialty cat food) pre-purchase several bags of food for me to pick up for a months-long sit. All I had to do was walk in, and the food was ready to go. They helped carry it out to my car, too!! Most recently i stopped in to kill some time between pet sitting visits. I had a client who had just left to bring home their newly adopted baby, so I was thrilled to find the "Baby" themed cookies (which are probably for owners and their newly adopted pup or kitten, but were perfect for my client. Since my own pup was turning four, I picked up a huge "Happy Birthday" cookie for him (the "frosting" is a yoghurt coating). I'll upload a photo now that I'm thinking of it. Really enjoyed chatting with the staff here in numerous occasions. They are a grooming salon as well and often have ambassador pups of their own in store, just in case you need a furry fix. Prices are very reasonable and lower than other boutiques. Parking lot is small, but I've never had a problem finding a space. read more

Since the pandemic, I found out that THE BEST GROOMER IN TOWN who worked there was fired along with two others. SOOO disappointing! Ralphie, our 11-year-old bichon frise, has been groomed regularly since he was a puppy. We began using Paw Prints several years ago, and have been very pleased with the grooming and service. He is groomed every 5 weeks...that is until the pandemic hit. Fast forward 3 and 1/2 months and, despite our best efforts, Ralphie had become a matted mess. We were prepping ourselves that instead of looking like a little lamb, we were going to get a shorn sheep. Well, were we ever wrong. This morning at 10:40 I came in to buy two bones for our Aussie. The lady working (short brown hair) was on the computer talking to a lady to schedule her two dogs for grooming. The customer had two dogs and couldn't decide which groomer would work or what day. I'm standing there waiting my turn, she ignored me the first five minutes, didn't acknowledge we even came in which is unusual here. Finally she said " are you here to have your paws clipped"? I said no, I'm just trying to pay for two bison bones. The customer and her keep chatting. I explain twice my husband is at the wine seller and doesn't know Maxx (dog) and I walked over. Still chats with other customer. I had to leave my bones as was concerned Johnny wouldn't know where to look for us. Sad as really like giving our business to mom and pops. I used to buy a lot of things from paw prints. This week was the last straw. All of my business is now going to Amazon you guys really have taken customer service to a new low. First I tried to buy the specialty shampoo that we've always purchase for the last three years from our dog. Of course you're out of stock at both stores but hey you can order it. Since I have Amazon Prime and can get it overnight I just figured I'd go ahead and order it this time. Used to buy all of my earth-born dog food from you but when I walked in at 9:30 with your open sign on and the door open your customer service rep said you weren't open come back at 10. You know it was just easier to pick up the phone and order it again through Amazon Prime guess you won't have to worry about getting my business anymore. read more

I called to get a price for pet grooming and after telling the person who answered the phone my dogs weight, she hung up the phone. I called back and I heard her telling another person, "I told her the price. I don't know why she's calling back," then she hung up the phone on me again without even coming back to the phone to say hello. With such rude staff, now I know I will never go there. read more

I am new to town and needed a groomer for my mini poodle. She is mild tempered and I've cut her hair before and haven't had any issues. However, when I got her back from the groomer here, she had cuts all over her body (typically around the joints - ankles, hips, paws, etc.). She had a hard time walking for the first few days after her cut, and I couldn't figure out why. Then, i felt around her little body and felt scabs developed. She had at least 8 that I counted. I took her to the vet to ensure nothing else was wrong with her, and the vet agreed that these were grooming cuts. I will never take my dog back to this shop, as it left my dog cut, lethargic, and sore for several days afterwards. I'm very disappointed too because it was a fairly expensive groom. read more

We went there several years ago to a groomer we didn't really like, we pulled the plug on seeing him after we saw him mishandle our dog. Fast forward to a few months ago, we called and learned that he wasn't there any longer and they recommended us to someone who was good with scared dogs (ours is sweet and a little skiddish). It was fine the first time, but this last time I noticed that 4 of my dog's nails were cut so short they were bloody and his..um..private (!) was also cut so short that it was cut and scabbed. We talked to the manager who told us that dogs don't experience any sort of pain when their nails are cut too short, she said it several times actually. We checked with our vet who said that he probably yelped in pain when it happened the first time. She also said that the groomer should notify us if anything like this happens to the dog, but we weren't told that he was bleeding. I understand mistakes can happen (which is why I won't put the specific groomer's name) but not being told about it right after, then being lied to about his pain was just too much- and this coming from the manager... Oh- sidebar my dog is 20 lbs and his haircut was $65. More than mine.. Not the philosophy I want to hear from them. I love my dogs too much. read more

This store used to be the premier pet boutique. Ever since the previous owner sold it, it has gone downhill steadily. Many of the staff members are young and rude. The one I dealt with today was like a snide high school girl. Don't bother shopping at Paw Prints. Head up the street to Pets Love. The owner is kind, extremely knowledgable and his staff are top rate. I'm very disappointed in what used to be wonderful store. read more

We love Paw Prints! We buy our dog treats, dog food and toys here and we bring both dogs here for grooming. We feel very confident buying our treats and such here because Paw Prints prescreens everything before they decide to offer it in their store to ensure that it is of good quality. And the groomers are wonderful (shout-out to Holly!) and true animal lovers as is everyone that works there. Our dogs are happy, yes, HAPPY, to see Holly when we take them in for grooming. But don't believe me. Here's the ultimate testimonial...we took our dogs to see an animal communicator (yes, seriously) who happened to be visiting our doggie daycare of choice. I had the animal communicator ask one of our dogs how she liked the daycare facility (which is not the same as Paw Prints) and her answer was that she liked it very much and, "it's one of my favorite places and so is the place where we get the dog food and get groomed." The people here are so sweet and helpful! The first time I popped by they took a lot of time to help me out picking some raw dog food and recommended some goat milk too! The second time, I had called ahead to ask if they sold CBD dog treats and to ask about their hours since it's July 4th. When I stopped by to get the treats, they asked me if I was the one that called about them as they were staying open long enough to make sure I could get the treats before the fireworks tonight thank you so much for your care and attention! We have a golden doodle, Breck who is currently 10 months old. This was his second grooming to ever have. Jennifer was our groomer at paw prints, and she was wonderful! I love my boy, he's spoiled rotten and I smother him in love to no end, but I am uneducated in how to maintain his coat. Needless to say, my little man was matted and had to get a shave down. Jennifer called and told me before hand and also gave me the option of not getting the shave and taking him home instead. What I am so appreciative of is that she not only took the time to call and update me, gave me option, but upon going to pick him up she educated me on the proper brushes, how to use them, and a list of said brushes to get for home. We will absolutely be back, and I can't recommend enough!!!! read more

Yikes, terrible customer (and pet) service. We made a grooming appointment for our Golden Doodle to have a shampoo and brushing however, when we arrived a very unpleasant lady stated she would not groom him. She said "these kind of dogs" should just be shaved never groomed. Our dog is big with a beautiful coat that requires more work than the standard pup. Her unkind and rather snippy and condescending words were unexpected. She made sure to let us know that she had better things to do with her time. Just say no to mean groomers. read more

Love the shop, great place to get some good stuff and the staff is always nice and friendly. Now to the grooming part. Took my boys in and I will admit they were a bit rough, their undercoats were shedding and causing knots and matts. Running around in the rain soaked grass didn't help either. So I was expecting a bit more work. My first dog is ok most of his matts were gone, but the "private area" wasn't shaved like I asked, nails were not trimmed and feet were a little scraggly. My other boy still has knots on his neck, no shaved "privates", nails not trimmed, and feet scraggly. It's like she didn't want to hassle with him. She wasn't very friendly and when I told her what I wanted she looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. When she brought them out she couldn't figure out that the smaller harness belonged to the smaller dog and had the bigger one on the small one. So instead she offered to carry the dog to the car, considerate, until I asked her how they did and she was short and snarky and said fine and walked away. My husband even mentioned he didn't care for her, and he likes everyone. Not having them groomed there again unless it's with a different groomer. However I will continue to shop there. read more

The folks who work here are all very welcoming and pleasant, and they've always been very helpful. I'm a customer of Paw Prints and have been for quite a few years. My two dogs get groomed there and I've always been treated very well. Occasionally I've been rescheduled but they have always been professional and worked hard to get me a new slot ASAP. I have found their pricing on food beyond fair and I've compared to other stores. I am always treated well and find the staff very friendly and educated in their products. I so appreciate good service and I get it here. I've never reviewed anything before, but my New Year's resolution is to say thank you to my friends, the businesses that I frequent and the service people in my life that do a great job all the time. I love this shop. Everyone that works here is friendly and so helpful. They help me carry my ginormous bag of food out to my car. They also special order a bottle of glucosamine every time I run out. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I used to take my dog into this groomers Until they completely messed up my appt time which at that point I tried to explain that it was incorrect and that I had waited for 3weeks (the average wait). I asked if there was any way to get my dog in sooner since it was a mistake on their part. Unfortunately and to my surprise, they tried to accuse me and not work out the problem. I then spoke with the owner who was completely rude to me and told me she couldn't do anything about it, and that it wasn't her problem?? SERIOUSLY?? I HAD been going there for close to two years. I will never go back. They're customer service is AWFUL. My suggestion is to look elsewhere, a place that appreciates your business and values each client. read more

I have been going to Paw Prints in Highlands Ranch for over 6 years. And usually the grooming is really good. But recently we took our dog into get groomed and although the grooming was fine, the groomer stuffed cotton balls so far down his ears we had to visit the vet in order to get the cotton balls removed from his ears. A $60 grooming bill turned into a $200 vet bill. I cannot recommend Pawprints for grooming any longer. A dogs health and well being is not worth a clean haircut. And unfortunately, they have lost business. Too many good groomers out there to put my dogs health risk for a haircut. read more

We have three Maltese dogs that have been groomed at Paw Prints since the store opened and they have always come home the way we want them groomed and looking fantastic. The store is in our neighborhood so it is very handy to be able to pop in and ask any questions that come up and of course get some the great dog treats. The staff have always gone out of their way to help if it was scheduling appointmenst or advising us on dog treats and they always ask if we need help getting to the car.
