This was our first time using Mobile Pet Shine and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Our groomer, Ian, was outstanding from the initial meet and greet all the way through Wilbur's appointment. Ian took the time to understand Wilbur's history, including a past IVDD injury and full recovery, and he adjusted everything accordingly. Instead of letting Wilbur jump up or down, Ian gently carried him and made sure he stayed safe and supported the entire time. Wilbur immediately took to him, which put us completely at ease. The grooming itself was excellent; Wilbur looked fantastic afterwards and, more importantly, seemed happier and more relaxed than he ever does after a visit to a brick and mortar groomer. The whole experience felt calm, professional, and genuinely caring. We'll definitely be booking with Mobile Pet Shine and Ian again and highly recommend them, especially if you have a dog with medical history or mobility concerns. read more

I've been using Mobile Pet Shine for a few months now, and I'm very happy with the service. Scheduling is very easy to manage by text, and management is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I also appreciate that they schedule future services automatically so that I don't have to remember to do it myself. I find that the groomers' skill levels are rather consistently high. It seems that my results are pretty much directly correlated with my ability to articulate my preferences. I've worked with Kris my last couple of appointments, and I find him an absolute joy to work with in particular. And every groomer has shown up during the appointed arrival window with zero cancelations at this point. My only reservation is the pricing. I understand there's a premium for the convenience of mobile-grooming services, but by the time I add a 20% tip to the service, I'm looking at a pretty steep bill. Overall though, I do recommend this highly professional mobile grooming service. read more

I just can't. I think they did an ok job. I wasn't as happy after the groomer left. The ears weren't done and I had another up charge. The up-charge although mentioned by the business just felt excessive given what wasn't done. The groomer or whomever answers their text stated that ears were good. Not fur a $300 plus groom, they were not. This was my second time using them. Truthfully, I'm probably not their ideal customer nor is their pricing sustainable for me. It's really upsetting to me that both experiences for me have just been terrible. I wish the business success but I regret thinking my first appointment was a misstep and really wanting to try them again because of their work. At least they told me this time. read more

Stay away! I used their service for over 3 years. And should have stopped so much sooner. 1) many cuts and rashes afterwards. I learned after changing companies later that we shouldn't expect this. 2) up-charges for what ever they can make up. For example, up charge because my dog didn't like the blow dryer on his face a d pulled away during cutting around his face. 3) Incompetent groomers. A groomer (training another at the time) didn't finishing the grooming, stating bugs in my dog's coat. I took him to the vet immediately after and they said there were no bugs and questioned about the grooming service who didn't know what they were talking about. 4) Good groomers quit quickly. Mobile Pet Shine's competent and caring groomers (the rare bunch) quit within 6 months. You are lucky if they stay around for 2 grooming sessions. Jerry, the groomer, showed up on time with a telephone call just before to make sure that it was okay that he came 10 minutes early. That is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We sat down outside with my dog Penny, and discussed what I wanted done. We had a nice 5-minute conversation and then they went off into the van. Jerry called me a little bit later to come out to the van to confirm he was cutting her to the right length. Again, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The whole appointment didn't take that long and Penny, who is somewhat shy, was extremely calm. She loves Jerry and I was very pleased with how Jerry handled her and made her look.
