As a result, she is very busy so you will not be able to get in last minute unless someone has cancelled. So, being a decent individual, I went in for my scheduled appointment this morning at 8:30am, and after the poor groom I received last time, one would think Pet Clips would be more than apologetic, but No, I was told that the groomer who did Stella no longer worked there and I was not scheduled for this morning, and they didn't have an opening until NOVEMBER! The brush-off from the owner, or, 'how dare you complain!'. I've learned a valuable lesson, don't try to be decent with those not accustomed to decency. What do you do in the middle of a snow storm? You take the dogs for a spa day of course!!! A friend recently moved back from out of state and he and his two little darlings are staying with me till they can find a suitable place. I noticed the Dorkie needed a little attention. I called Pet Clips and not currently being a dog owner I was really surprised how reasonable the price seemed for shampoo, comb out, trim, nails and expressing the glands ( sorry that's still odd to me) I have always had big dogs and they got baths and no expresses. They were glad to take the two of them right away. This was another pleasant surprise. They had a few general information questions to ask and gave us a general time frame of 2PM. It was about 11 when we dropped them off. Promptly at 2 they called.. the girls were ready! They were excited to see us... and not afraid of the staff at all, this is always a good sign. Great jobs on the cuts and the little bow was more then cute on Izzy. I'm not going to reveal price as I am sure it's based on breed and such.. But I will say.. it was less then I pay every few months for getting my own hair done. Also MUCH more reasonable then Pet**art We will take them back and I would recommend these ladies for your dog grooming needs. We've been using Pet Clips for a long time now. They always did a good job on both of our small (under 10 lbs) dogs. I've never been happy with the length of time we have to leave them (usually 4 hours or more). Recently, we had two issues with our dogs. First, one of them developed an ear infection after being groomed. We let it go because there are a million reason a dog might get an infection. Both of our dogs are indoor dogs only. They're even trained to a litter box so we don't have to walk them outside. After their last visit, they both came down with Kennel Cough. It cost us over $1,400 to have them both examined and treated. When we told Liz about this, she didn't seem to care all that much. She certainly wouldn't accept any responsibility for it, even though she knows our dogs only outside of the home trips are to the groomers. I'm sure they got Kennel Cough at her shop. So, after many years, we've ceased using them. read more

we were told a certain groomer here was very good. We called made an appointment with that groomer. Because she was so busy, we had to wait 2 months. We did. The appt. came, we took our dog in. We were handed off to someone else without being told. Our dog was there for 6 1/2 Hours in a kennel. The person who did her so called grooming boched her up pretty damn bad. She is clean though, But the cut was very bad. They lied to us. Kept our dog kennelled all day. We could of went to Petco and got better service. read more

Cat Groomer! We've been taking our Siberian cat here for about 5 years now. They are very kind, caring and professional. Our cat has always come back looking great. I know going to the groomers can be a stressful experience for both the pet and their human so I am happy that we have found a great place. Note that they have a limited number of cat grooming slots so plan accordingly when making an appointment... they are sometimes booked out for a month. Called Pet Clips to make an appointment or maybe see if they can get my little Fox Terrier in for a bath and nail trim before I head out to work at 1pm. They were able to get her in and be done within an an hour. Which they got her done with in an hour and I still had plenty of time to take her home and then head out to work. I took my Service Dog Casey there for the first time. I Showed the Groomer SEVERAL pictures of the way I like him cut, in a Lamb cut, VERY CLOSE cut on the Body.. I Even told her what Size blade to use .. I picked him up , the charge was $8.00 MORE than I had been Quoted and they left him LONG on his Body AND All Chopped up. I told them that was not Acceptable, they would not take him and shave his body down, just chuckled and said they would do it NEXT TIME! What??? I have come to the conclusion after examining my Pup that The Groomer Used EXTREMELY Dull Clippers.. it is A Painfully Hard Process for any Dog and I am so Upset that they put my Dog through such a Trauma. I was a Groomer for years and would Never have the Lack of Care to #1) Treat a Dog with such Disrespect and then #2) have the Audacity to Actually Charge ... Even charge EXTRA ... for such a Terrible excuse for Grooming after putting my Dog Through such a traumatic Process. read more

I have been taking my yorkie poo and Maltese here for two years... That stops now ever since they cut my yorkie's pad off his toe. When it happened I thought he was bleeding bc his nail was cut too short, not a huge deal. Shortly I realized his whole pad was shaved off one of his toes. I put him back in the car and brought him back to show Liz what she had done.... She was completely unapologetic and rude about it. She gave my money back for my one dog, which personally I think she should have reimbursed me for both dogs since they both got groomed that day. She then tried to keep my tip! I bring my dogs to a groomer bc they are professionals and these mistakes shouldn't happen, especially by the owner. One of the other groomers said he didn't cry or anything which is hard to believe since his whole pad is gone and raw. My yorkie is going on 11 days and his pad is still not healed. The first few times I took them here I explained the importance of getting them in and out quickly. Liz did so and my dogs were always done within apx two hours. Each time I took them their appointments took longer and longer. I have always left them 20%+ for a tip and know I am a loyal customer. After much research, we decided to try Pet Clips as a groomer for our Shih Tzu. My husband took him in, so I don't know which lady he had, but they were awesome to our little guy. He got himself worked up and decided to vomit all over himself once he was finished, so they have him a second bath without charging extra (we hooked her up). Took Snowflake to this place on 29 July and they are the best. They are caring, accommodating, observant, and reasonably priced. My dog was dirty from camping and needed a bath. So, I found Pet Clips on Yelp and made an appointment. Glad I did! I brought my own shampoo! That made me happy. They knew what to do for Snowflake because he cries when left at the groomers. The day before Thanksgiving, I took my 10 month-old Golden Retriever here to be groomed for the first time. Notably was it her first grooming, it was the first time I've left her ANYWHERE. I was very nervous because she has bad separation anxiety, still mouths everything/everyone constantly, and is very anxious around other dogs. Turns out I worried for nothing because this place is awwwesome!!! They immediately took her back, and took her off leash. Ashley was her groomer, and she obviously made her feel so comfortable that she didn't seem to notice when I left. Ashley was finished earlier than I expected, which was great. When I arrived for pick up, I almost cried because my fur baby looked absolutely adorable with two little pink, zebra-striped bows above her ears. She smelled surprisingly delightful, and was as soft and fluffy as a bunny. She was "fur-migated", her nails were clipped, ears and teeth cleaned, and had her hocks trimmed too... All for 1/2 price of what PetsMart charges. I'm writing this two weeks later, and my pup still looks amazing (sans bows). I will definitely be bringing her back! read more

The first time I took my dog here I was very impressed, I made an appointment it was only a few hours and she came out happy and beautiful. I made an appointment a week ago took her in again today and literally 5 hours later called because I hadn't heard from them, they said another 20 mins so I left to get her 20 mins later and the cut was ok kind of patchy and I know personally that my shih tzu is very very easy to cut I've cut her hair myself and every groomer she's been to says she is very sweet. Next time I'm going somewhere else. Nobody wants to wait around 5 hours on a Saturday a week after their appointment when she was dropped off at 8 in the morning.. Nope read more
